A friend and I had bought 68 mustangs early this year. Mine had a very bad brake problems, the vehicle had sat in a barn for over 27 years so you can imagine how bad the brakes, and brake lines were. I had it towed to several different shops who basically told me it was too much for them to take on. After looking for another shop, my friend who was looking for tires stumbled across this shop who had a set of rims and tires. He arrived and took a look at the tires, which after seeing them wasn’t going to work. Seeing that there were a few classic cars there he started asking questions, that was his first interaction with Patrick ( master mechanic) who was helpful in answering all of his questions regarding the issues he was having with is Mustang. Long story short my friend told me about the shop(TopShop), we went by a week or so later and I met Patrick and told about the problem I was having with my brakes. I told Patrick what I had done to get the brakes freed up and the problems I was still having, with the reassurance that he could get my brakes dialed in. Patrick showed us some of the projects there we’re working on and one they had completed, I was hooked, ready to get mine in. He told me to see Kevin to make an appointment, Kevin told me it would probably be a few weeks before I can get it in, which was fine with me, gave me more time to get all the parts I needed. Few weeks later I got the go ahead to have it towed in Patrick ran through the brakes and told me what needed to be done. Kevin constantly kept me updated with the progress. Weeks later I got the call to pick it up, it was all done. I rushed down there to see because I couldn’t believe that it was actually done. Man when I tell you the frustration was over lol it was over. Patrick “My Guy” I will definitely be back for phase two. To Patrick, Kevin and the team at TopShop, I want to thank you all and I appreciate all that you guys do there to keep customers like me coming back. Blessings to you all🙏🏽

It started out great. Opat di a wonderful job on the work he did. Unfortunately, the longer the truck was there the less it seemed to be a priority. The truck would sit for weeks if Patrick wasnt there. Not everything was fixed. Especially any problem that was new. I finally told them i wanted the truck and they it was ready to go with a few problems that i accepted. But, as an example. But it’s that’s just an example of the things that were occurring on a roughly $50,000 investment. Needless to say I am not happy. . I took it out and the car started starving like I was out of gas again. It would go a little a few feet and then the engine would die so I had a nurse at home dealing with that and I was gonna check the fuel filters and everything that could’ve been one of the times I started the truck backfired and then it ran for 15 minutes on fine so I don’t know if that fixed it or not That’s just an example of the things that occurred. I took the car out of shop. Needless to say, I am not happy for a 50 roughly $50,000 investment. It wasn’t what I would expected.

A shop that can manage every day repairs and maintenance on your daily, while also being able to tackle enthusiast vehicles like mine. I usually find the type of vehicles on the lifts and in the parking-lot are a pretty good gauge of the shops quality and clientele, and this shop is stacked with automotive enthusiasm. 100% would recommend and will be back.

Top Shop Auto has serious expertise for care and maintenance of a ton of car types including Land Cruisers, Lexus LX570s and other off road (and on road) vehicles. They won’t be the least expensive but if you care about long term quality care of a vehicle, they’re a great choice. And yes, I am an actual reviewer. Just took my Lexus GX460 there for a basic oil change and transmission fluid drain and fill.

Fantastic, over the top customer service! I was stuck. My battery needed to be changed (it was barely getting the engine to turnover) but the clamp nut on the terminal was stripped and part of the cable was unusable because of corrosion. I walked into Top Shop and Dan said he’d take a look. He got the stripped nut off, cut out the corroded cabling, replaced the clamps. I was good to go.

Top Shop is the best! They’ve been taking care of our cars for many years and do great work. I trust them with our kids’ car to make sure it’s always reliable and safe. I do a fair amount of off-roading and they have a lot of expertise to share on this front. I’ve had a couple of times where I’ve been heading out on a long driving/camping trip, found a significant problem with my rig, and Frank and team have jumped through hoops to get me on the road safely in time for my trip. I wouldn’t go anywhere else and highly recommend them!

Go to this place. My 70 series Land Cruiser needed a new brake booster after coming out of a 90 day stay in a shipping container from Uruguay. I was trying to return to Portland and had it towed to Top Shop late in the afternoon on a Monday. They had me going Wednesday afternoon. Parts for this vehicle are hard to source and Top Shop but they didn’t give up and found a booster from a 40 series that got me safely back to Portland. Thanks to the crew; Kevin, Mitchell, Frank and Patrick. A great shop that you can trust!

I have a 1972 Datsun 240 Z. It’s very difficult to find anyone who knows how to repair an older car. Top Shop has master mechanics who truly appreciate classic cars. I have a 1958 Chevy Apache and was looking for a shop to do a complete front end suspension, power brakes and power steering. Was recommended to go see Frank and his crew for what I was looking to get done. Frank was able to put together some estimates and we agreed on a fair price. After getting the final motor mounts replaced was happy with the results and the way it handles and rides. Kudos to Frank, Dan, Patrick and the rest of his team for a job well done.
