Totally trucks were completely consistent with everything they said. They beat the competition in Chico and Yuba City for my camper shell. Had it installed in under two hours, had coffee and couches to relax on and everybody was in a positive good mood when I arrived for install. Great experience, fair price, pleasant environment. **One star simply based on pricing not quality of work** They probably do amazing work, but just know that on average they charge a lot more than other shops that are just as experienced in installing truck parts and accessories. At some point it’s just ripping a customer off. Quoted $750 for a bumper install that the manufacturer and 2 other shops stated it would be $250-$350. Of course they can price however they want, but just know some of your hard earned money can be saved by going to other businesses. I can get my bumper powder coated and installed less for what they can install it by itself. Competitive pricing is the one part of business they are lacking on. Edit: Autoworks does amazing work, and just finished up long travel on my truck. They work both on cars and trucks and have experience. Highly recommend!

I came out to California to visit my parents. I just bought a new pick up prior to the trip. Didn’t have time to purchase steps for my four by four. I called Total trucks in Redding. I asked them if they had any in stock, they checked and told me they did. They even got it installed before they closed. The price was very reasonable. I wish I had a shop like this close to where I live. I highly recommended them for any truck related needs.

Have had good experiences in the past, so didn't mind traveling in excess of a hundred miles to patronize this vendor. Had a hitch installed a few months ago. Just recently purchased a trailer a couple weeks ago. Trailer lights work as designed connected to my other vehicle. When connected to recently installed hitch - no turn signals. An appointment a week in advance and staying in a motel to process the transaction - first work order was written for wrong customer - then after me clarifying the reason for my appointment . . . after one minute with a electrical test light on the harness connector plug they determined the malfunction was not their problem. My test light indicated it was their problem. After traveling 2 1/2 hours - one way, plus gas/food/lodging associated with the trip I believe an effort to troubleshoot the problem would be the reasonable thing to do for the sake of a little customer satisfaction. Instead I get the hairy eye-ball treatment saying its not their problem - and summarily showed me the door. At least they didn't charge me for their five minutes of time. I get the impression that if you are spending big bucks on your truck they roll out the red carpet. But if you are not in the big bucks category you get the cold shoulder.

Not very happy,I had to get my power retractable bed cover replaced,they did a good job,but when I made the appointment all they said was it will take an hour all we have to do is replace the canister which had a dent in it,I said perfect,my dad took it in they told an hour,3 hours later,I noticed they replaced the whole thing,dont tell me one hour that ended up to be 3 hours
