I have been taking vehicles to Tracy's Foreign Auto for the last 16 years. My very first experience involved a referral from a co-worker when my a/c went out and I was given a $600 estimate at a different car repair shop. I took my car to Tracy's and it cost me...wait for it....$20 to fix. Yes $20. Sam and the rest of the staff are always super informative, friendly and honest. As a woman that knows little about cars, it is a good feeling to know I have a mechanic I can trust. My recommended auto repair shop for life!

I've been taking my cars to Sam at Tracy's for 16 years. There are no doubt other quality auto repair shops in town, but I have no interest in taking a chance and giving any of them a try. Sam's prices are fair . . . the quality of his work is beyond reproach . . . and he does exactly what he says he'll do . . . period.

I recently took my Mercedes to Tracy’s to get a head light replaced. I originally called to inquire if Tracy’s would not only be able to replace the head lamp, but also program it. I was told yes and yes! A week later I brung my vehicle for a diagnostic and to get a quote on parts and labor cost. I was told $2600 would be what I was looking at. So a few days later I bring my car in, and I’m told that it will be ready by the middle of the next week. Fast forward, after 3 weeks of them having my car, they were able to replace the fixture, however they installed the fixture improperly (headlight is pointing downward) and furthermore were not able to program it properly so it doesn’t function properly. And to add I ended up paying exactly $4000 for the half way done service. Great guys on the phone but things were not what they said it would be and I honestly feel ripped off.

I was visiting Memphis from Jackson Mississippi. When my car all of a sudden stop moving . I was stranded 300 miles from home . I called around looking for a reputable, reasonable business . Tracy’s wasted no time getting me in on Presidents Day. After having my Infiniti towed to his shop he called me in less than 30 mins with a diagnostic to tell me My axle had broken 😱They tried to find one nearby but wasn’t lucky . They had to overnight the part. They called me at 11 am to say the part was there and at 2:26 he called again to say my car is Fixed and ready to go. Unbelievable !!!!!!!! in only 1 day I was good as new. I made It home safely and no issues. The price was reasonable for the service and labor . Really nice customer service and explained everything in non mechanical terms so I would Understand lol . Highly Recommended.

I normally don't write reviews and don't like reading long one but had to give Tracy's a shoutout. Quite view: Very professional, respectful friendly staff and Quality fast service. Extended view: My car broke while on vacation i couldn't not find dealership to take my car. Search and found Tracy's Foreign cars. I called and spoke with Sam explained to him my situation, he helped me get my car stared I was able to drive it to his shop. In spite of him being super busy he took the time to fixed my Car and saved my vacation. Sam, Thank God for people like and your staff. It's hard to find good honest folks today, thanks for all you done for us you guys where a blessing.

This business was referred to me by a colleague and I am absolutely impressed with the warmth and professionalism of the staff. They immediately made me feel like I was at home. They quickly and thoroughly evaluated my vehicle. They took time to explain to me what needed to be fixed and their prices are beyond fair. They gave me options and sat down with me to problem solve. I will be back and intend to refer them to friends/family. They are a true asset to the community. Thank you.

Dealt with Sam the entire time, very informative and patient with my whole back and forth ordeal. My neighbors knew when i was getting ready to leave home because of how loud my car was, new installation of my compressor and honest labor charge for my gear linkage was respectable. I am satisfied that my car runs smoother than it has in over a year, and sounds better than it has in over 3 years. This was the first major work I have ever had on a vehicle and i don't feel like i was giving the run around, but was made a priority.

Spoiler alert, this story doesn't have an happy ending. My experience was less than desirable, for a number of reasons. I spoke with Sam the owner on several occasions before deciding to take the car in for repair. He informed me that he would be going out of town. So, if possible, bring the car in before then. My schedule would not permit me to bring it in before he left. But, I specifically asked if I should wait until he returned, and he assured me that wasn't necessary. My wife dropped the car off on Monday. It took me until Wednesday to even get a price for the repairs. The price changed over and over. They would not answer the phone when I called after Wednesday. My wife had to call to even speak to somebody about the car. She was given an $1800 price quote, that changed after speaking with Sam. For two days, I spoke with Sam, while on vacation, and not the shop. That's how badly things were handled. He actually tried to make excuses for their obvious failure to the point of arguing with me about not bringing the car when I was told. He decided to give me a deep discount for the inconvenience which was almost $3000... My regular mechanic, Dr. Benz in olive branch quoted a price of $2600 for the same work and no deep discount, WOW. Needless to say, I picked up my car and paid $700+ for the work that was done. This was on Friday. What a waste of my time and money. The car has been fixed by Dr. Benz with no issues. Dropped it off on Thursday and pick it up the next day. Buyer beware. My advice is try Dr. Benz. He is professional and most of all honest.

The place I normally take my Volvo could not fit me in. They recommended Tracy's. I felt like they were honest and did a good job. the repair was done in one day and at the price quoted and there were no problems. If another shop is comfortable with you that is always a good sign.

I have a young adult child in Memphis who was driving one of our foreign cars while hers was being repaired. She brought the BMW home at Christmas and the radiator died on her trip home. We had a friend recommend Tracy’s because we knew no one in the business, since we aren’t from there. I called Sam, my husband called Sam and I’m sure we were annoying but he couldn’t have been nicer. He was honest and the price was fair for a BMW. I absolutely recommend this business.

Great guys! Had the unfortunate luck of filling up my Audi with watered down gas in Hernando when I was in town. After trying multiple mechanics (some wouldn't work on Audis, others were all booked up), these guys got my car towed and fixed before I had to leave town, and gave me all the necessary documentation to seek reimbursement from the gas company. Highly recommend

A HUGE thank you to Mr. Sam at Tracy’s Foreign Car Service on Monroe Ave. My worst nightmare came true when Blueberry (my car) started making some noises and having issues. Mr. Sam saw that my world was crumbling and quickly came to the rescue by not only checking in on me but also giving great service to Blueberry. We both truly appreciate it.

I don’t even want to give this place a 1 star review! I’ve been dealing with a gentleman who is very rude and unprofessional, and does not know how to speak to people! Thinks he can be little people just because he’s a man. I would NEVER recommend this place!!

The service I received at Tracy's was outstanding! My son and I were driving from NC to TX in July when his air conditioning went out. They were kind enough to take a look at the car right before a holiday weekend. Not only were they able to fix his air conditioner, they helped us out in a very challenging and stressful situation. They did more than they had to to ensure that we made it to TX. I will be forever grateful to the kindness and integrity that Sam and his staff showed us. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone!

Went in for a $150 inspection (~$170 with tax) and got a $3,300 quote for repairs: new battery, front struts, coolant, air/cabin filters, spark plugs, and rear tires. Tires alone were quoted at $600—I’ve paid that for a full set. I asked to see the issues, and the parts did need replacing. But by doing some myself and going elsewhere, I saved over $1,000 (battery was under warranty too). Biggest issue was poor communication: they refilled coolant without asking (though they later removed the charge) and didn’t call when the car was ready—I had to reach out. Between that and the high prices, I’ll be looking for another shop. Update: I glanced at my front left tire today to find a golf-ball sized knob on my left front that was completely missed during my $170 inspection. I have not hit any potholes since I got my car inspected (I've literally only driven it to another shop). Demoting my review from 2 stars to 1 because how on earth do you miss that. Also, my battery has been tested at an Advance Auto Care AND Firestone, both tests said the battery was completely fine.

Have taken my cars here with multiple issues, they are always help, fair, and trustworthy. They work very hard to get things done as soon as they can. I can't recommend them enough
