5 months ago I brought my car here to replace the cam seals, crank seal, which I was told were leaking, and that I would need a new timing belt as a result. I paid a grand to have this work done. Roughly a month later, I took the car back because of a whine I was hearing from the engine that wasn't there before. Tony seemed annoyed that I was back. He said it was lifters and suggested an oil additive. This weekend another shop I tasked with trouble shooting the issue needed to replace the time belt again, along with the 4 cam seals and plugs which were leaking and getting oil on timing belt, plus the tensioner bolt literally came off in the tech's hand. The loose tensioner was the cause of the whine. Needless to say, I am very disappointed with Tran's sloppy work. And I have lost confidence in this shop.

This is a great ma and pa repair shop! They bend over backwards to creatively find you the best deal. I have recommended many people go there. None of them have had nothing but nice things to say about their experience. I took a H3 hummer there after getting a $1000+ quote from the dealership. They fixed it for under $300 in a day! They also gave me advice to get rid of the truck as their engines (Hummer H3’s) are prone to fail. Thanks Tran’s Auto!

I’m not sure what kind of operation this guy is running, but I don’t appreciate what they do. I recently had a vehicle inspected by a potential buyer, and he asked me to take the vehicle here. After the guy completely went over the entire vehicle and agreed that there was nothing wrong with it and that it was in great condition. He then proceeded to get into the potential buyers head by telling him to negotiate the price down on the vehicle more just because he thought he can get a better deal out of me. I told the guy I was very firm on the price and that I was not going to budge on the price from the beginning yet they made me waste my time to drive all the way downtown for nothing. He should stick to working on cars and not negotiating any prices on vehicles, and stay out other peoples business. The potential buyer even said he was fine with the car and the price but that the mechanic said he should work me down on the price. The vehicle was priced $1000 under retail and it was a Toyota Camry. Those cars are worth their value and hold their value. This mechanic is shady and frankly needs to stay under the hood or under the car because he’s not a good negotiator and he cost his client getting a good car.

OMG. How many adjectives can I use in a review? Honest, friendly, smart, fair. The biggest reason I had my work done here was because it was half the price of anywhere else. I always go to this place for any car problems. Tony is extremely experienced with a no BS attitude. He charges reasonably as well. There is definitely a language issue but if you can explain the problem to him or his mechanic, you can expect great results within time and within budget. I highly recommend him.

Tony Tran has taken care of all of my vehicles for almost 10 years. He was referred to me by a friend. I would not like to have to go anywhere else. He is Honest and fair. Even goes above and beyond in my opinion. When I need a service he always takes a look right away and tells me what his diagnosis is. He has the vehicle done when he says. Nobody wants to go see a mechanic about a car issue, but I am grateful I have Tony.

Took my car in Feb 28 2025 had to stay over the weekend because it was too late for them to look at it. They called me on Monday March 3rd to tell me the problem and that they cleared the code and there was no other issue at all it was just simply my car was missing an air filter five days later check engine light comes on again. Wife tells me they can’t see me until Monday even though it’s 1 PM on Saturday and they are still open today then tells me they’re gonna charge me an additional $130. When I asked to speak to her husband he tells me yeah it’s an old car. You probably didn’t put your gas cap on right 👏🏼👌🏻 way to talk to people I would highly advise ANYONE to avoid this shop and seek a shop that will be honest not just charge you $160 to clear an engine code just for it to pop on 5 days later They should have offered to check it right away and see if a new code was popping up or if it’s a new code instead of accusing me of not knowing how to put a gas cap on. Going to the auto parts store to have them run the codes for free and tell me how badly this shop lied to me.
