Bought a transmission for these jokers drove 3 hours one way. 1st transmission didn’t work took that one back got another one. They didn’t offer any money back or offer any gas money. 2nd transmission took pan off found dirt and water. Found fine metal in the filter. He didn’t even change the filter. Cleaned it and installed the transmission. Truck won’t even move there’s no oil pressure. Called and text the guy a hundred times he won’t answer!! So much for the 1 year unconditional warranty!! Now I have to find more money to have the transmission fixed right. Been without my truck for 7 months now. Don’t waste your money buying a rebuilt transmission form these jokers take that money and go somewhere where they actually know how to fix transmissions.

Was recommended by my mechanic drove an hour 20 minutes Steve was very friendly and helpful picked up the trans.for my 2002 tahoe the next day up and running gave me a 1 year unlimited mile warranty went back got my money for my core and asked Steve a couple questions about my trans. I have a small car lot so I do a good bit of business with Steve, he's rebuilt 6 transmission for me over the last 2 years, turn around time has always been great. Every transmission he's rebuilt for me has worked flawlessly. There are transmission shops closer to me but I drive an hour and 15mins because I know Steve is honest and does good business. Highly recommend having them do your transmission rebuilds.

Great transmission shop. I took the transmission from my wife's Saab 97x to this shop to be rebuilt when it lost reverse and 1st gear. Great price. Under $1000 with a new torque converter and 1 year unlimited mile warranty. Runs better than before. True experts. Even though the shop was closed I was able to make arrangements to bring my transmission to the shop about 8:30 at night because of my work schedule. Anyone can slap a guarantee on a box. But a guarantee is only as good as the person who makes it. GREAT SHOP BETTER PEOPLE

Transman Remanufacturing is top notch. I called Steve, the owner, about a transmission in a Ford Sport Tract, he was able to diagnose the problem on the phone. After the repair, he went over the diagnoses, to verify what we said matched what he saw during the rebuild!! He followed up a week later to see if the transmission was still running smoothly. The performance is strong, smooth and quiet. Steve does great work and the price is very fair. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TRANSMAN REMANUFACTURING!

I drove from Balt Md for a dodge 2wd 46re that Steven had ready in a week from another core. He listened to me on the phone and then explained how he could improve my old dead 46RE. I dropped my core and took home a custom built version. I followed his advice on adding a transcooler. Steven really knows his stuff. His years of experience show. His shop was a true Transmission only shop. He changed some of my lighter hard parts for better along with the tow rebuild kit. The price was fair. I did buy my own TC separate. My 97 Dodge conversion van is back and ready for towing. I plan on another Transman Transmission again soon.

Got a rebuilt 4L80e from Steve . Steve was very informative through the whole process. I’ve had his transmission in my Chevy 2500 for 3 months now. I’ve hauled countless tons of dirt and stone. Plowed snow, and pulled out tree trunks with this rebuilt transmission. With over 500 miles on it already. I have had no problems. I call Steve to ask questions on break in period, and when I should do a filter and oil change. Always picks up and directs me in the right way… I’ll be getting another transmission from him, for my blazer build

Bought a 4r100 trans was shifting great until a hard part failed. (Nothing to do with build quality just a bad part) he built me a new trans no questions asked. Easy to communicate with and always answered my calls. He put some stronger hard parts in it for the trouble. Trans shifts fast and hard just like these should have from the factory. All around great experience.

First 4r100 I purchased from Steve the transmission pan bolts were stripped out and the gearbox had leaked all of its fluids out while driving and cooked the lower range clutches. Was shifting ok until that point. Steve upheld his warrenty agreement and had his neighbor install the gearbox at a cost to me including new converter, labor and fluids. The 2nd rebuilt gearbox took 7 months to rebuild. Much longer than the 1 or 2 months promised. When I came to pick up the truck the transmission was leaking from the front pump seal. Steve nor his neighbor took fault for this issue (which leaves me with another couple thousand out) Transmission was filled with metal. Im not sure if front pump seal leak is the installer or Steve's fault. (The shop I have currently rebuilding the gearbox claims is most likely fault of rebuilder with installation of front pump assembly) Regardless I have wasted $1800 on a transmission, another $3000 on torque converters. Couple hundred dollars on fluids and thousands on uninstall and installing the transmission. My truck has been off the road for approximately a year. I will never buy another gearbox from him.

Had TransMan rebuild several heavy use automatics for me. The best rebuilder in the region bar none. E4OD 545RFE 68RFE and others. All better than new. Had a problem. Steve shipped me the valve solenoids so we could have them put in out of state under warranty. THE BES OF THE BEST. A1++++ Only the jealous complain about his work .. because the are dumb haha 😆🤪😂🪠😜
