This place was all it was hyped up to be! The customer service was amazing. Very transparent with everything they did. Updates often and great pricing. Yes I’m a woman I price checked but besides the great pricing, everything was done in house not subbed out to other places like other shops in the area I called. Everyone who worked there was extremely nice and didn’t try to push other stuff that didn’t need to be done. This is an amazing shop to trust your vehicle to be worked on.

Took my car there with a check engine light issue, they did a bunch of unwarranted work I never asked for, extremely overcharged for the work completed, and did not resolve the initial problem I brought the car in for. When asked if they would honor fixing what I initially brought the vehicle to them for, I was told they would happily fix it, but had to charge me for it.. again? I as a customer feel completely taken advantage of, and will never use this business again. I had high hopes for True Street.. go somewhere else if you're looking for honest work. Edit: Clint called me personally after leaving this review - still feel like communication could have been better with work performed, and their understanding of the issue in the beginning. They still completed work I didn't ask for and definitely charged me for it. $877 for spark plugs I didn't ask for nor approve (regardless of their condition, no one called to inform/update me) - hose re-routing for a catch can/PCV and an air filter replacement I didn't ask for nor approve (again no one called).. car still has a CEL and a high idle < reason I brought it in. It's now at a different shop after spending almost $1000 here.

It doesn't make 1000hp! I bought a 1000hp clutch! Just kidding. The shop did amazing scheduling a tow to the shop for my cobra that ate its slave cylinder. They replaced the clutch, slave cylinder, lines and pilot for me in short time. I am back on the road with my girl running great! This is a recommended shop in my book!

Clint is awesome they got my car in and out making over 100hp more on my mustang. The customer service is top class he gave me updates daily. This shop is top notch. Thank you Clint. Not sure how these other people are leaving bad reviews if you have dealt with modified cars you will know that a good shop is hard to find it took me 6 months to find Clint and his team.

Brought my Mustang in for some upgrades and tuning. I made an appointment for service because this is my only car. They do take a couple of weeks to get me in but when I dropped my car off on Monday morning they were all done by Wednesday afternoon. Hayden in the front office explained everything well and car feels much stronger. They know there stuff.

First time and will be back.... Cant say enough great things about Clint, Mike, Sean, the entire team. Brought my modified corvette in on the grounds of it having a terrible vibration when letting off the clutch. The car gets ran very hard and has a high performance clutch already in it, that I figured had run its course. Talked to the team and fully planned on spending a decent chunk of cash to have the clutch replaced, along with a lot of unnecessary work done. Within 2 days they had the car on the lift and realized the cause of my vibration was some missing/broken bolts along the drive-train. Cost suddenly became a quarter of what it would've been to fully replace everything, along with my added goodies. That is what will bring me back. They could've gone ahead with the planned build and replaced the clutch, etc. I would've picked up my car a week or two later and been 100% satisfied. None the wiser that I spent 4 times what was needed. Instead, Clint called to tell me the good news, thus saving me thousands. In a world where everyone is out to make a quick buck its nice to have a performance shop that understands. That's a stand up team they have over there and anyone that has owned a high performance vehicle for long enough, understands the value in having a team you can trust in all aspects of the word.

I wanted to get cams, a tune and intake put in my 3v mustang. I was originally quoted 3300 which turned into 4000 which isn’t a problem however 4 grand is a lot of money. 3 days after I picked it up a bolt came loose in the throttle body causing it To run very lean( not good for a motors life) this has made me question the quality of work done mechanically. The tune is fantastic but I was quite disappointed when the owner said he would fix it at my expense as if I havent paid enough They also left oil prints all over my WHITE car. Overall very upset with the piece of Mind and the response to my concern.

These guys are amazing. They take great pride in their job and it shows. They installed a Procharger in my F150 with headers, exhaust, and tuned it to perfection. I am more than happy with the job they did. While my truck was in there they installed my lowering kit and new wheels that I had already purchased. Do yourself a favor and give them the opportunity to turn your vehicle into a beast. So much that they can do for you. Everyone from the owner to the sales guy to the mechanics and the tuning professional were hands on and treated me like their best friend all the way through. Proud to call them my shop and friends. I will continue to use them in any job I have in the future and I will continue to tell friends and anyone needing a speed shop to see these guys

I recently took my 89 Mustang to True Street Motorsports for rear end work and I couldn't be more impressed! The team did an exceptional job squaring up my rear end and setting the pinion angle. The communication was great throughout the entire process, and they kept me informed every step of the way. The end result is a car that handles and performs better than ever before. I highly recommend True Street Motorsports to anyone looking for high-quality work and exceptional customer service. Thanks again for the outstanding work, guys!

I was having issues with the transmission controller on my '53 Chevrolet 3100 and had been to four other shops that either couldn't fix it or refused to take it on. I called Clint and he took time to listen to my issue. I dropped it off with Clint who was able to diagnose and fix the problem without issue. True Street will be my go to for any tuning needs. I highly recommend Clint and his team.

Couldn't be happier with the experience and work of True Street! Brought by Camaro in for some work and a tune on the dyne and they dialed it in perfectly. Exhaust work was excellent and sounds amazing! Gave them a list of work I needed done and a budget and they were able to get it all done in a quicker timeframe than I had expected and even came in a bit under budget. These guys are very knowledgable and they patiently answered all of my questions, gave me great honest feedback and recommendations, and always left me feeling very informed about what was happening with the car. They work with a lot of higher end jobs than what I was having done but not once did I ever get the feeling that me or my car was less valued or taken care of. Overall very knowledgable and nice guys, fair prices with no surprises, and a great experience. Will make this my goto shop going forward for sure!

Sent my car to them from Indiana to fix a limp mode issue. They replaced a throttle pedal sensor and said the car was all fixed. $750. Car came back to me in Indiana and was all excited to drive it. Drove 3 miles down the road and it went into limp mode. Called them and they claim they drove the car for 250 miles and had no issues. After that they ghosted me. Very disappointed and working with other shops now to try and solve the issue. So far it's pointing toward the tcm tune on the transmission that they put in and supposedly tuned. I'm just baffled that a throttle pedal sensor was their solution. I question whether or not they even actually data logged the car. Update: finally making progress on the car with a different shop that is clearly far more knowledgeable. The cause of my issue boils down to the tune. They tune true street put on this car is no good. My new shop said they are flat out lying if they said they drove this car for 250 miles with no issues and they obviously have no idea what they are doing with a Mopar. On top of the my fuel pressure gauge isn't hooked up properly and since true street ghosted me and never provided me documentation on the car as promised. Now I have to ditch my perfectly functional injectors for a new set ($1050) in order for the new shop to tune the car properly. Anyone with a Mopar stay away from these clowns.

Awesome crew and are very knowledgeable. If you're looking to add performance parts to your car, don't go anywhere else. Straightforward, honest, thorough and they know what they are doing. The tuner here is in my opinion one of the best. We went to another well-known performance shop and spent a lot $$$$$ prior. The other company installed things incorrectly and had a lot of issues for months that they could never figure out the power drop, rpm fluctuations, or engine dying while driving, tap click noise near cam and blamed the car. We ended up figuring out a lot of the issues ourselves basic vacuum lines and catch can reverse install. They couldn't tune correctly. We went to True Street to get a true tune and asked about a few things we heard or felt, they had possible issues with listening. The driveshaft was too short and a few things in the area needed repair. It's tuned and I could not be happier with True Street and their professionalism to make sure it would run correctly by checking the other shops work was corrected and correct.

Best experience I've had with a performance shop. I have a Whipple Mustang. I've had several performance shops work on my car and by far True Street did the best work and had the best customer service/experience out of all of them. Their Dyno tune so far runs smooth. I am confident that if my car runs into issues there will be no issue with me bringing it back to them for touch ups and fixes. They have permanently earned me and my family's business. I highly recommend them for mustangs. It is their specialty. Special shout out to Hayden for the Superb customer service throughout the entire time!

I brought my 1992 C4 Corvette here because it was idling pretty rough and it had already gotten lots of sensors replaced on it without the problem actually being fixed, so by that point I started looking at other things it could be. I thought it might need a tune, the reason being it had the ECM replaced and I wasn't sure if something was up with the replacement (previous owner had the original replaced due to it not functioning properly and being too far gone to be RMA'd). Anyways when I would come to a stop and let it sit for a few seconds I'd notice how rough and unhealthy the idle sounded and the check engine light would come on, as well as the car smelled like it was running rich judging from the exhaust so I figured something was up with the fuel mixture going on in the engine. Now, there are not many shops that want to touch dyno tuning OBD1 cars with a ten foot pole. I called many shops in Dallas about getting the car looked at and this was the ONLY one that said they could take a look at it and do a tune on it. When it was time for my appoimtment I dropped it off and everything was done in a very timely manner and communication was excellent throughout the entire process. First they took a look to see if they could diagnose any problems before just jumping right into doing a tune for it and they found that the car was actually running lean because fuel injectors were the wrong ones (I informed them before that might be a part of the issue because the previous owner had put some new ones in there and I wasn't sure if they were to the stock specification). It turns out, the previous owner had replaced the stock fuel injectors with 22lb ones thinking that was stock when stock is actually 24lb. I had them replace the fuel injectors with the correct ones (they quickly ordered them and had them at the shop just a day after I approved their installation) and they said it was running beautifully. I told them to go ahead and do the tune for it aswell and everything went great with that too. A stock 1992 C4 (LT1 engine model) makes 300 horsepower at the engine and 330 foot-pounds of torque. With the tune on there they got it make 292 horsepower at the wheels (so probably at least 350 at the engine) and 347 foot-pounds of torque! I'm so glad I found a shop with such a wealth of knowledge about these older cars. I am very happy with the service that was done and highly recommend this shop if you need anything performance-wise done to your car, big or small. I may be back sometime in the future to make some poor but very fun financial decisions... :D Everyone I talked to was super helpful both in person and over the phone (Preston at the front office was awesome and really friendly). I really like how real they are with you too. If you are thinking of a certain build and are picking less than ideal parts for your car they will tell you and give you some options/better alternatives or if you are thinking about spending money doing something that won't actually give you any significant performance gains they will let you know, they won't just try and take your money. They do good, honest work here and I don't think anything could have been done better everything was great!

I was going to spend almost $20k here for some work done on a vehicle, I found another shop who had parts in stock ready to do the work on my vehicle. When I told true street motorsports they said there would be a 10% cancellation fee which I agreed to if I wanted a refund. I sent multiple emails to Preston and cc’d others on the email as well requesting my refund and never got a response from them. Never received a call back or anything. I would not recommend using this shop just by the shady tactics of them not wanting to send a refund. I opened up a dispute with my credit card company so I will get my money back due to the lack of customer service and lack of communication by those shop.

Dropped my '19 twin turbo Mustang GT off Monday morning for a tune. They quickly found out why the remote tune that was done on it was not taking. Found issue with the injectors and the dual pump fuel system I had bought. Clint has been very helpful and very straight forward with what is happening each day. Communication is top notch!!! I am confident that I am going to be very happy with the outcome.
