1 Star (If I could give a negative star I would) I took my vehicle to Truth Repair expecting a basic tune-up, and my experience was extremely disappointing. In the end, all that was done to my vehicle was an oil change and a thermostat replacement. The thermostat part itself was only around $50, and the total parts were roughly $180, yet I was charged $1,110 total, including $838 in labor. That is completely unreasonable for such a simple job. When I went back to the shop to calmly discuss my concerns about the bill, the owner’s response was basically, “What do you want me to do about it?” Instead of trying to help or resolve the issue, she walked away and told me I could just take my vehicle and leave. There was no attempt to address the complaint or explain the charges. The only person who tried to help at all was her son, who came out and at least topped off my radiator reservoir. To make matters worse, my AC stopped working after I picked the vehicle up. Before I dropped it off, my AC was blowing cold and working perfectly. After leaving the shop, it completely stopped working. Overall, I feel overcharged and poorly treated as a customer. I came in expecting a simple service and left with a huge bill, a new problem with my vehicle, and no help when I asked about it. I would strongly recommend others get a second opinion and ask for pricing upfront before allowing any work to be done here.

This is hands down the best mechanic shop I’ve been to. They’re truly family-owned and operated, and you can tell they care about their customers. They’re reliable, flexible with scheduling, and always there when I need them. The quality of their work is exceptinal, and their pricing is very fair and affordable. I never feel pressured — they take the time to explain everything and make sure I’m comfortable and informed. If you’re looking for honest, dependable, and welcoming service, I highly recommend them! The people I work with ALL recommended Truth for their quality work and fair pricing. They did a water pump, which was rusted on from northern road salt, and a couple of hoses for me. (No more leaks or overheating! YAY!) Price quoted and accepted. They were kind enough to tweak my parking brake release at no charge. They didn't even mention it, like they were looking for kudos. I just got in the van and realized the pedal was all the way up. NICE😁👍 Everyone I talked to, was kind and knowledgeable. No "man-splaining", just because I'm a female. No "OMG, you'll need to spend another $1,000 to replace every faded piece of trim plastic in your car, or it will explode" B.S. It's hard to find good, honest repair places these days. But, Truth Auto Repair definitely lives up to that reputation. Good, old-fashioned quality and service!🙏 I've already recommended them to several people and now I'm putting it in writing!

I have been here for a couple things already and I must say I really appreciate Melissa and her team for the diagnostic, advice, and overall great work they put into my car when I'm here. I've attached photos of the welcoming and cozy waiting area provided as well, perfect to catch up on some work. She has a convenient small side table with plugs if you're charging anything while you wait. I'll be coming back, and I recommend this shop to anyone in need of auto work.
