Life savers! We came through Elyria late on a Friday afternoon with a tire issue. These guys stayed open late to help us out during our cross country journey. Jesse is the kind of shop owner that you wish every business had! He found us a tire locally, picked it up and had it put on our vehicle after closing hours. He did it all with a smile and a great sense of humor. His staff was equally helpful and personable. I wish that more companies were so eager to help people in a tough spot. Way to go Jesse! I was traveling with my granddaughters from Pennsylvania when my muffler came loose and was dragging. Workers at Lowes told me about Tuffy's and Mike didn't hesitate, on a very busy day for the garage, to fix my car's muffler without charging me anything. He was very kind and professional. All-around amazing experience. After experiencing a roadside emergency overnight and being deferred by a different auto shop, the staff at Tuffy's on Leona took me in right away. Staff were very friendly, honest and communicative. I was given an estimate within 5 minutes, offered an extremely affordable rate, and on my way out within 20 minutes. Shop cats, Cheeto and Snappy, curled up next to us while we waited. Look forward to going back to Tuffy's on Leona for my next auto care needs.

Awesome place! Called them because we were on the road and having some tire trouble. We had gotten turned away by 2 other shops in the area (Firestone). Even though it was only 20 min before closing we called Tuffy and they were willing to help us and they were so nice too. Great guys. Great shop. If I was ever in a pickle like that again I would hope they were near by.

I have been going exclusively to this Tuffy for some time now and don't see that changing (they have cats!). Their warranty program at any Tuffy is great, but this location specifically has been my best experience. Jesse and the others are always very friendly and knowledgeable, and they are very fast and willing to help in emergencies when others are booked. I have even driven from Cleveland to Elyria with a flashing check engine just to go there because I knew they would be able to help since EVERYWHERE in Cleveland was booked out for weeks (to be clear I do NOT recommend driving with flashing light I got lucky there was no serious damage). Still goes to show THIS is the place to go!

My sister's brakes needed to be replaced and her brake lights. Many years ago she had an unpleasant experience at a different Tuffy franchise so we were skeptical but a trusted mechanic who was unavailable to assist assured us that Jesse Lattea's Tuffy Auto Service center on Leona Street in Elyria could be trusted and he knew the mechanics would do a great job at a fair price. I called got an appointment and upon arrival Jesse and his staff were outstanding! Friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and explained all the repair details and cost to fix my sister's car. After the brake pads & rotars were repaired the test drive showed one of the calipers needed to be replaced. The car had to stay another day, and Jesse knew I was trying to help my low-income sister , so he replaced the parts without adding to my bill. This referral to Jesse's Tuffy on Leona Street from another trusted mechanic is a KEEPER! The bonus is it's not far from where my sister lives. It was an awesome experience! I took time to write this review, but it's given us over a month to see that the car is still running great! Thank you so very much for such excellent service, Jesse & staff! We'll see you again!

My wife and I take our cars to Tuffy on Leona Road for many years. Their expertise in cars/trucks is outstanding. We even trust them with our 1999 Corvette! Prices are fair and they treat both my wife and I with respect, almost like we were part of the family. Getting car repairs or service can be time-consuming depending on what is being done. To pass the time they have 2 Cats in the waiting room to watch and get relaxed. Who can’t relax watching a cat sleep or play! If you don’t like being around a sleeping cat, there is another waiting room located there for your convenience, for us, we will be VERY happy to be by the cats. To my wife and I, the cats being there is a BIG plus to relaxing while waiting. We are both glad the cats are there! This Tuffy location has Great service, are Experienced and Very Knowledgeable, Fair price, Customer Friendly Service AND Something to watch while there to relax while waiting. What else can anyone possibly need for Great Auto/Truck/Sportscar Service! Keep up the Great work! Give the Kitty's a treat for my wife and me!

They walked me through and showed me each issue and how much they estimated it would cost to fix.
