Great find! They checked my car for what I thought was a leak in the exhaust pipe and discovered the noise problem was something entirely different. Made a quick adjustment and the problem was fixed! Only charged me a $10.00 lift fee for the whole thing! Unbelievable! Very rare to find a shop like this anymore! I feel like I owe them money! I will definitely be back for other service!

Left my car at 830 in the morning to check front end. There was no discussions that couldn’t look at. Called twice during the day with no results Poor customer service. Should have called to update me during the day.Picked it up at closing with no apology. If your dropping your car for an estimate, be ware.If the owner reads this your staff needs training in customer service. Shocked they can run a business like this. Why no response from the owner on negative reviews?

My neighbor told me about AOK and I am so happy he did. Had a new muffler system put on today, it it is no ordinary muffler system. It is a van with a wheel chair ramp and it had to be custom. I went there Monday and they were so busy (which is good to see if they are busy, they are good). So I went back this morning. I saw a lot of TEAMWORK among all the employees...everyone was busy and working hard. They have excellent customer service starting with Karissa at the service desk, she is very pleasant and knows the business as well as her counterparts. I couldn’t believe the excellent price and how quickly it was done. I would recommend AOK to everyone who has been unhappy with the other popular shops around town. AOK is the BEST kept secret in Lorain Co. Try them out next time you need any repairs...they do most anything! I am one HAPPY NEW customer. I will definitely go back!

Epitome of I found a guy that would do it cheaper. 30FT paint job and hacked up exhaust kit that was made for the car. Missed spots, fish eyes, even dog hair in the paint and some flaked off after highway driving. Exhaust loose and every clamp facing the dumbest way possible. I would never come back or recommend this place to any one.

I can’t speak on the body shop part of this business as I only dealt with the “mechanic” side, but holy 💩 I can’t believe this is real life. Had spoken to someone there about having the front section of an exhaust put on from the header to the center part of the vehicle. Explained I had the whole kit and wasn’t sure if the bolts would just come out or if it would need to be welded, etc. guy said $100-150 is the most it would be. Called back yesterday and asked if this was still the case and when I could get it in. Was informed yes and that they could do it today if I got there in the next hour. I drive right up there. Now at this point when I saw the shop I really should’ve left based on what this place looks like, but I was already there and decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. This was a mistake. Get in there and ask what time it should be done. The woman at the desk is flabbergasted. When I informed her that I was told if I came right up here it could be done today she said that wasn’t the case. It could be done today, but could be tomorrow. I then explained that I was also told max $150 twice at this point and was that accurate? She said that wouldn’t be a problem. No call yesterday for an update and no call today. I call up there at about 1pm and am told that the number listed is just for the body shop. Get the number for the mechanic side. No answer. Call it back 10 minutes later. The receptionist who sounds totally annoyed informs me she’s at a doctors appointment and she will call me back. I get a call back she says they are just pulling it in and it will be done today. Then she calls back a second time and tells me it’s $200+ tax. I have had multiple other shops tell me $250 with them supplying the parts. I have the complete exhaust section including the flex pipe, all hangers, the cat, etc. I’m aware that it’s an old rusty car and some parts might need to be welded that is why I’m at an exhaust shop. I told her it was fine and I would pick it up don’t do the work. I get to the shop 20 minutes later and the front door is locked, call her back like yeah I can’t even get in to which she responds “I told you I’m at a doctor’s appointment”… lol I guess she’s the only person who works in the front. I called the body shop back and after a few minutes someone came out with the key. I have no idea how these “shops” do any business or get any customers. After this level of bs I will go to any real shop and pay $250 with their parts and literally throw away the exhaust I have before I let this place touch a vehicle. If they want to make like a hilarious episode of undercover boss send someone in here. Would be limitless entertainment for sure!

Body shop is on point. Johnny is hands down the best body man around. A classic car restorer. Muffler shop is excellent. Welding is on point. Don't use them as MECHANICS. They were supposed to replace my tensioner pulley. Busted my radiator. Didn't tell me. I drove it home with antifreeze pouring all over my engine compartment and a huge puddle in my driveway. After calling a real ASE certified mechanic I found out that they busted a pressure hose. It's vital for my car. They replaced the radiator. But tried to charge me $500 for labor on the pulley! The mechanic didn't know how to fix it, so he literally watched YouTube videos to do it. Now, Johnny and his daughter are beautiful people, but they really need to close the mechanic side down.

Horrible receptionist. She doesn’t communicate with the mechanics or customers and has an attitude. We were lead to believe our car would be done the same day but she “lost our phone number” and never ordered the part. The next day she is practically unreachable and then at the end of the day says they only have one guy working and might not even get to it today. We had to WALK to pick our car up. If I could give zero stars I would.

Rude people working there, definitely was trying to scam us on something that was a simple fix. Shady business, I’d go somewhere else. They weren’t too happy I chose to take it somewhere else lol but they were about to overcharge by a couple hundred dollars.

I have went here twice so far not because I want to but out of necessity amazing service low-cost especially for the work that they do high quality and work! If you have them call you back they keep you updated on what's going on with your car and approximately how long it would take I dropped off the car in the morning around 9:00 a.m. they had it ready around 1:00 p.m. which was excellent especially since they were pretty busy that day as well I recommend to call ahead but their work is worth everything penny.

I love these guys often times they're always willing to help they typically will do a quick if they're not too busy fair pricing great for a fixed quick on your car quick exhaust work tire work most small jobs work on it while you wait oftentimes it's not too long they're pretty quick would recommend and will probably go back if something goes wrong with my vehicle
