Went there yesterday and asked them to check my tires for leaks because it was the second day in a row that the tire pressure sensor light came on. First day I filled the tires to 36 psi and I told the guy at Tuffy that I did that. They “checked” the tires and said they were all fine. They did not disclose to me at the time they checked it that one of the tires was at 21 psi, which to me indicates there is probably a leak if it was at 36 the day before. Today the light came on again, clearly there is a leak that they missed and here I am now three days in a row late to work because someone at Tuffy didn’t do their due diligence. Update: Took my car to Belle Tire and there was a rusty nail in the sidewall of one of my tires. Tuffy missed it when they “checked” my tires.

I had such an amazing experience! I came home from a vacation to a flat tire on a Sunday. Brian at Tuffy on Central was the kindness and calmest representative. He ensured me that it would be taken care of and was done in a timely manner. They were efficient and made my experience seamless. I had scheduled an oil change appointment for this morning Feb 12, 2025 @ 5154 Monroe St. My ESA & I showed up at 8:50 Jarrell was checking me in and started badgering me saying no dogs allowed. There are no signs posted not that it would matter. I said sir she is an ESA. He then says people are allergic to dogs, sir she is hypoallergenic. My dog is a 12 lb toy poodle. I ask him does he not want my business. I took my dog and went and sat down, there was another customer in the waiting area, he said he can't do that. I always carry a little blanket for my dog. She was sitting on the blanket and Jarrell came out and yelled get your dog off my furniture. Jarrell then comes out with my keys I go to pay and he refused to take my money he told me to take my dog & get out. Then he yells you stole a $77 oil change. I turned around and went back up to the counter again to pay and he refused to take my money. When I told him I'm calling Monica the manager he said she got fired & he was the manager. I never got any paperwork or sticker...Not sure the oil change was even done. Jarrell has a screw loose. Jarrell you need to get educated on ADA before you start discriminating against people. Attention Owner he is going to run your business in the ground.

Did rear calipers on my car, for the price the work should’ve been done right. Abs was left disconnected and caliper failed after 15k miles with them giving me no option to warranty nor would I trust them touching my car again! NEVER GO TO TUFFY

They suck, I’ve been to 3 locations. 2 times I’ve been here and they said I needed new inner tie rods to adjust my alignment on two cars and then told to go to the other locations to get the adjustments. Neither told me I needed inner tie rods and successful did the adjustments. Monroe location is lazy and consistently wrong/dishonest. Go to any other tuffy location AVOID AT ALL COST.

If You Don’t Understand Cars They Will Rip You Off! $79.99 For An Alignment Turns Into $900 Due To “Needing” Another Part. Already Knew Part Wasn’t Needed. But They Insisted They Couldn’t Do Alignment Unless Said Part Was Replaced. Other Shop Did Alignment And Confirmed Part In Question Was Just Fine. Alignment Worked Out Great! They Will Lie To Your Face To Upcharge Unknowing Customers. BBB Has Been Contacted. As Well As Action News.

I had to share my positive experience here. I’ve gone to a couple other shops who have misdiagnosed my vehicle, who have done work on my vehicle before even telling me what was wrong and how much it would cost, Ive had the same code come up each time my check engine light has come on even though I “got it fixed”. I couldn’t afford to pay out right to get it fixed again, I needed somewhere that offered financing help and that would properly find out what was wrong with my vehicle and actually fix the problem. Tuffy looked at my vehicle, diagnosed it, let me know what’s wrong, waived the fee of the diagnostic when I decided to get the work done with them and they got it done right then! The master mechanic Kyle was amazing! He was very honest with me and ensured me that he wants to make sure I’m taken care of and to even bring it back in a few weeks for him to recheck everything to make sure no other problems occur after getting this work done. I was relieved and almost in tears with his kindness after all I’ve been through with other shops. I have finally found a reliable honest mechanic I will 100% be coming to every time I have a vehicle need. Thank you Kyle!

I stopped by unexpectedly and they got me right in that was much appreciated. They pointed out of couple of things my car needed didn’t try to push service on me just let me know. They actually reset my oil change light on my car. The only problem I had is they did a tire rotation and did not check my air pressure in tires. I went back to tell them and they took care of it.

I had those warnings lights come on letting me know my tires were low amd it was bitterly cold out. Called.a few places and they wouldn't do it. I called Tuffy and they had no problem getting air in all 4 tires that were low. They were friendly and I tipped the man who helped me me. So thank you for being kind and courteous.
