This is an absolutely wonderful family owned shop. If you want to find a group of mechanics that you trust and a wonderful group of office staff, this is your place to go. They priced their work fair and not only that but had a great turn around time. The nice lady that handles the scheduling and front desk (sorry I forgot your name) was very open in communication and called me several times to ask permission for a parts order or let me know they found additional things that needed repaired on my old 2010 Chrysler Town and Country before they ordered the parts and performed the repair. That is a trustworthy service right there. Highly recommend to anyone in town or any locals of the Ocala area.

Had trans rebuilt 3 times by Turners. I could not make it home without the trans over heating and blowing fluid out of the dipstick right after picking up my car. After the third time, they tell me I had to get the engine replaced before they would rebuild it again. My car does not have any check engine light, and does not smoke, and runs smooth. So I asked for half my money back and I took it to another trans shop. The second shop found out that the neutral lock out switch in the shifter was bad. Issue resolved without replacing the engine. I would not recommend this shop to anyone anymore. They use to be the best in town. I came to find out they are no longer owned by Turner's.

My husband took my truck here almost a year ago to the date, after getting it back we had issues with the transmission fluid in which they had us replace the radiator and a few other things. We ended up spending almost $5,000. Now here we are with our transmission going out completely once again and “out of warranty”. We took it to a different shop and they were appalled at the work done on my truck. I wouldn’t trust nor recommend this shop.

I've had to come in for a few different things beginning with dropping old tranny fluid and refilling that. EVERYTHING has been GREAT. My interactions have basically been with Rebecca and Skip and they make me feel very comfortable coming here. You can tell this is a family business and they are fair and VERY TRUSTWORTHY. A few times Skip has had to fix bad work that was done on my car - and brought it to my attention - rather than scamming me into more debt. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE AND I TOLD THEM THEY'RE STUCK WITH ME NOW 🤣

Philip chrysler jeep dodge ram dealership in ocala. Told me I needed a TRANSMISSION. They said it was gonna cost me around $15,000. I have a 2012 jeep grand cherokee. I took it to TURNER TRANSMISSION, and they fixed my whole problem for $1,750. I highly recommend turner transmission.

If your transmission needs service, this is the place to go. I just had my Grand Caravan in for service, almost 80k on odometer, filter and fluid change. Runs and shifts like new. They did work on my wife's Honda Pilot a few years ago. Whole thing took about two hours to complete. Other car shops wouldn't do this work. Total was 230 bucks.

I had my 2000 Ford F250 7.3 Powerstroke at another shop. The transmission had been rebuilt/repaired twice, and had failed both times. I paid the shop $3,400 and they refused to make good on the repair. Not only did they refuse to make good, but they blamed me for breaking the transmission. Told me that my tune was the reason it broke. After taking it to turners transmission, they got my truck in w/in a couple days of me dropping it off. They called me after they'd gotten the trans torn apart so I could come up and look at it. I was told that in no way did anything I did to the truck cause the failure. They went over my options with me and the costs associated. They were awesome through the process. My truck now at 405k miles runs/shifts better than it ever has. Not only did they do great work. When I went to small claims court with the other shop to try to get my money back, Skip, the owner offered a break down of what happened to the transmission, and and a signed letter. Both on a turners letterhead to try and assist with my case. I 100% without hesitation would recommend turners transmission for transmission work.

Rebecca & crew was a blessing for husband & I. While traveling back to Ohio our van (converting to RV) started smoking. We pulled into a truck stop & slept, until 7:30 am. The hubby was up early looking for a transmission place.. Just our luck there was one.. Turner Transmissions Service! They got us in fix the problems & got us on our way in absolutely no time at all.. They was very kind to us & our doggy, while getting the work done. I recommended a family member to take thier vehicle to Turners Transmissions Service Inc for work on their transmission and he was lied to. They claimed there was coolant in his transmission and even went as far as sending a picture to him of what they claimed was coolant and tranny fluid mixed together when in fact number 1 the transmission cooler is separate to his radiator and when a tranny cooler is separate it doesnt have coolant that runs thru it most the time but in this case it doesnt. Its actually all in one with the condenser. He was told it would take $6000 to replace the transmission as they said it was now bad because of the mixture of fluids. So he went a little while without his truck trying to figure out how to come up with the money to pay for the transmission to get fixed because not only did turners lie to him. They also lied to his warranty company who claimed they couldn't pay for it due to cross contamination of fluids which again is impossible because there is no way for those 2 fluids to ever cross paths. These shops have got to do better. Stop trying to take advantage of others. Be honest with your customers and they will come back. It is getting harder and harder to find mechanic shops you can trust anymore. This is a complete shame. Pictures attached sure as hell doesn't look like mixed fluids to me. In order for then to of sent him a picture of his transmission pan with mixed fluid they would have drained the fluid. But when I dropped the pan for him there was still the correct amount of fluid in the transmission. And if they dropped the pan to show a picture and he decided to just tow it home they would have never added new fluid to the truck and not charge him for it and all he paid for was a diag fee which was incorrect. Shame on you guys.
