This shop did an inspection on my van and NEVER TOLD ME I had seven oil leaks and a leak in my cooling system. Dan said the ONLY THING needed was a battery, and sway bars. They did not show me the inspection report, and tried to send me on my way with an invoice that showed they had lied. I had to ask for a printed copy of the inspection, which showed oil leaks in several places. Assuming I had been given an accurate report, I did not read the report until I got home. The photos show leaks in SEVEN PLACES!! Without telling me they had checked on the invoice that I DECLINED an oil leak inspection, and DECLINED a pressure test on the cooling system, where they ALSO found a leak and did not report it to me. When I called to ask why they had not reported the oil leaks and lied that I had declined the inspection, Dan said he never saw the oil leaks. This is blatant lie. He could not have missed seeing the seven photographs, and checked that I had declined their inspections of those leaks. I have no idea why they did this, but I do not recommend this shop if you value your vehicle!

I went to Ulmer's to get a second opinion on my Subaru to fix a wheel sensor and axel that my family mechanic couldn't get right. They quickly diagnosed the problems and provided a quote, including certified parts, that was significantly under the quote I had gotten from the dealership. I'm happy to have my car running properly again, and the peace of mind that it was done right. Their shuttle service is invaluable for car drop off and pick up. Dan and Erin were so knowledgeable and friendly--I plan on becoming a repeat customer.

Erin took my call asking for alignment pricing. I had already called three shops asking for pricing, which they all did and offered to get me in that day. Erin did as well, but she also asked the reason I am seeking an alignment and I told her it was due to a shaky wheel. She said she'd love to have my business but suggested a car wash first to see if the recent snow storm had snow/ice lodged in the wheel well. She may have turned away an alignment but gained a new customer who will come back for all car issues

I took my 2011 Saab to them for a third opinion on my car. It was struggling when trying to get up to speed on the highway. It was stuttering and missing and then it would go. They were great, I dropped my car off and they gave me a ride home. The gentleman that drove me home was amazing. We talked, laughed and swapping stories. They figured out my problem and let me know costs and all details. After they fixed my car they picked me up at my house. A different driver but also a great guy. I highly recommend Ulmer’s of blue ash.

I recently moved to the area and had problems with my brakes. I googled lots of car shops around and Ulmer’s had the best reviews out of all of them, and now I know why. They were so friendly and were able to squeeze me in without a prior appointment; I dropped off my car with them and they took me to work with their shuttle service, and picked me up when I was done (they spoiled me rotten lol). Dan and Erin were so kind, and were very intentional about getting my car the help it needed. So pleased with my experience, do not hesitate to visit them!!

This was my first Experience with Ulmer’s. For my first phone call to the last, it was an A+ experience. He gave me a thorough diagnosis, discussed options and didn’t disagree or argue when I chose some, but not all options. In the process of the repair, they discovered an issue with the replacement part. Rather than let me drive off with a defective part, they stayed in contact with me and worked until the problem was resolved. I will definitely return and have already referred my son to them. Highly recommended

Another excellent experience with Ulmer’s Blue Ash. Just a tire rotation and oil change this time, but they did a full diagnostic check of my truck, too. I dropped it off in the morning and they finished everything quickly. I also appreciated the free pick up service after the work was done.
