Terrible! Eric the owner turned me away. I needed alot of work done on my vehicle 1 of witch was my breakes that were getting down to grinding metal. Eric told me to return a week later to diagnose all of my issues. In the mean time i HAD to have emergency break service done elsewhere, no choice had to be done. When i returned a week later to Eric i told him i had my breakes done and had my codes read but not reset. He was offended by this and refused to do service on my vehicle. He told me im not supposed to take my vehicle to multiple mechanics. Eric is not a frendly person nor does he know how to communicate with potential clients. I actually felt i was annoying him the first time we met. He seems not all there. There are plenty of great mechanics out there. I would avoid this shop. I do NOT recomend Universal Auto Service

Bought my Volvo used and saw the previous owners had spent thousands of dollars trying to fix the AC. It was intermittent at best when I got it, so took it to Eric and he immediately recognized the problem, and had it fixed at an extremely low price later that week. It’s been running flawlessly ever since. This is the ONLY place you should take your Volvo to for maintenance! You will quickly see just how thoroughly he understands these cars and can perform efficient and long-lasting repairs. Highly recommend!

Eric and Universal Auto are fantastic to work with. If you own a European this is the place to go. Eric is by far the easiest and most transparent mechanic I’ve gone to. I’ve never felt “sold” to for excess repairs. This is a one man show shop but I’ve never felt my service took longer than normal and Eric is always responsive. Also, he’s just a plain nice guy. He’s great to chat with and you might just learn something about your car in the process. A+!
