The staff at Universal are well trained, understanding and you get an estimate and findings, in writing, at the end of their investigation that will satisfy this old lady or a master degree wheelhead. I think they are a great place to do business with.

Universal Transmission came highly recommended to me and I want to highly recommend them to you (and for good reason)! I bought a 2018 Chevy Malibu almost a year ago. It has given me so many issues since I’ve purchased it and recently started to give me transmission issues. I took it here to get the transmission serviced and was pleasantly surprised with how well the customer service was. Linda at Universal Transmission explained everything to me so I actually understood what was going on with my vehicle as well as what steps were being taken to fix my vehicle. I was very impressed with her knowledge of transmissions and cars in general. The staff and mechanics at Universal Transmission were thorough in the diagnosis of my vehicle. Linda and her team even found other issues with my vehicle. She took initiative to call the Chevrolet dealership and found out that one of the other codes that was popping up fell under a certain recall that was free of charge to fix. She explained once I picked up my vehicle I needed to take it there ASAP to get the open recall completed. The communication between us was excellent and in my opinion, the most important part. Not only did she communicate with me every step of the way, she was very fair in her pricing and cared about my vehicle as if it were her own. I like that. My vehicle was diagnosed and serviced expeditiously. Once my vehicle was returned to me, I took it to Chevrolet and they told me the recall was closed and I would have to pay out of pocket. I was so upset and was forced to call Linda back on a Friday at 5 pm. Without hesitation she sat on the phone with me for nearly 30 MINUTES assisting me with information that Chevrolet couldn’t or maybe didn’t want to do for me. Linda ultimately helped me save money, fix my car, and I am forever grateful. She is absolutely amazing! Thank you Linda and everyone at Universal Transmission for the EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!
