Came to V and W for a second opinion on an expensive repair, ended up saving over $2100 thanks to Mark’s expertise and straightforwardness. He took the trouble to show me an opened up engine and educate me on the problem. He took amazing care of my Passat, I’ll be back again!

Mark the owner and his son's are the best. Helped me out immensely over months on the phone From Elko to make sure I had fixed anything on my own that I could before I got the vehicle towed to him. He's a specialist with the VW and I couldn't find anyone competent enough near me to handle my issues. He explains thoroughly what the problem and fix are. Not the type to over blow the problem but go straight to the source and fix it. Highly recommend for VW owners/lovers

Dropped car off for a mirror replacement. Mirror only. Left car with 125 miles left in tank. Picked up car with 65 miles left in tank, driver seat has been moved a lot, tons of dirt and debris in driver seat. On top of that my driving display was changed to race mode with a lap timer ready… mechanic and worker claimed that they needed to “drive” the vehicle to make sure everything was okay… this is for a simple mirror replacement. Nothing powertrain related was asked for them to work on. They also couldn’t fix a related error that was given from the mirror being broken. Felt dishonest, shop was extremely dirty and there is no reason to drive a car 30+ miles to diagnose a mirror issue. Might be good for quick cheap repairs for a VW, other than that- I would never go back.

I took my Audi to V & W for an oil leak. I had other people work on the same issue before and it was a total waste of time and money. This last time, I took to Mark and quickly identified the issue. Mark was fast and got my A4 all fixed up and ready for the road. The price was fair and time was great. Has been a week now and I get excited everyday I look at my garage and I don't see a oil leak on the cement floor. Here is my final take: There are a few VW and Audi shops in town, I have been to a handful of them, I can tell you with 100% confidence that Mark will save you money and stress on your repairs. Everyone's experience is unique but mine was great and I have a place I can trust for all my future Audi repairs.

Mark was patient with me and good to deal with. Had a issue that we couldn’t figure out and had to come back multiple times, but he was always happy to help. In the end he ended up putting on extra parts to fix the problem and did not charge me. Good guys will definitely come back in the future for my VW problems.

I called around to quite a few Volkswagen repair shops and dealerships, this was the only place that would actually let me talk to an educated Volkswagen repairman, they chatted for about 5 minutes no problem. To me that screams a quality shop, they answered all my questions. Thank you!

These guys are scammers looking for a big pay day. I took my TDI Golf to them after a friend put gas in it and they said that I’d need a completely new fuel system and it’d cost well over $4,000. Had a second opinion and they said they found ZERO issues with it and changed the filter and drained the tank and lines. Don’t go here they’re not trustworthy. UPDATE: it’s been 5 months since this review and I still stand on this statement. My car is running perfectly fine still after just a simple drain and filter replacement. UPDATE: 8 months later and my TDI runs perfectly fine. Don’t come to these bozos :-)

Mark at V & W has been working on a few different VW's over the years for me. He is honest and beats dealership and other VW service centers prices. Hands down would 100% recommend him. Over 5 years of customer satisfaction, with over 100,000 miles of maintenance on 3 VWs!

Update - they didn't tighten all of the bolts when performing the timing belt service. While nothing terrible happened, it's disappointing. I won't be going back. I dropped my car off in the morning and it was ready a bit earlier than expected. The price was on par with what I'd expect to play. The employee I talked to really seemed to know a lot about VWs so I felt my car was in good hands. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place.

Mark was honest, straight forward, and knowledgeable over the phone. Even more so in person. The final bill matched his estimate. I think that alone says enough about their integrity. Don't think twice about pulling the trigger here because they will take care of you.

Called in Friday, was going through a run around with different shops. Has been diagnosed at 2 different shops with different things than what my obd2 were saying. Learning about cars is tricky, and I didn’t feel anyone was listening to me. & I had already replaced the parts they were recommending multiple times with junkyard then brand new parts. The man here was honest with me, listened, and helped me realize the only place I didn’t check is what it could be (connector). I’m very grateful for this place, they’ll continue to have my business as well as family/friends of mine. 10/5 stars.

Excellent customer service and a great group of guys. Took my 2016 Passat in to get a check engine light resolved and they were very accommodating to my time constraints, and their own work availability. All work was done promptly, and explained through.

Called over the phone and got a straight-forward quote for brakes on my VW Atlas. Mark fit me right in the next day, but it turned out my brake pads were just fine. I appreciated the honesty. We’ll definitely be back.

So here’s the truth about this place and my experience. I have an Audi a3 tdi. Particulate filter and check engine light came on. Took it to my old mechanic down town. They said they don’t do them and go to the dealer. Took it to Audi Lehi they said $4000??? Called these guys and Mike ran me through a bunch of scenarios, most importantly has anyone confirmed it’s the filter or are they just going off the check engine light. This was the only business to ask this and was the only group to walk me through multiple answers based on their experience with tdi.. Turned out it didn’t need to be replaced and saved me a TON of money. They have earned my trust and loyalty based on this experience. Hope they can earn yours too.

Excellent repair shop. I recently had some unanticipated service needs come up, and Mark and his team couldn't have been more accommodating. My car was ready to go within 24 hours of drop off, and I was given a clear explanation of the car's original issue and the implemented fix. If you want high quality work, great service, and fair prices, definitely consider V&W.

I know cars pretty well and usually do all my own work, but I am so glad I took my car to Mark this time around. Mark and his team are awesome! This guy (obviously) KNOWS his Volkswagens. Seriously, one of the most knowledgeable VW mechanics I’ve ever met. I took my manual transmission Jetta in for a new clutch, pressure plate, bearings, etc and for a noise which I thought was related. Mark quoted me $1300 for doing it with all genuine parts, the VW dealership wanted $2100! He did the clutch work and when the noise still wasn’t completely gone, I got the bad news that my transmission output shaft bearings were shot. It’s an extremely rare transmission, but Mark was able to find a used one with a warranty in the valley for me for 1/2 of what I was seeing them online for. He was extremely honest the entire process and even showed me what was wrong with my old transmission after it was pulled from the car. He stayed in excellent communication and finished the entire process 3 days earlier than he said he would be done! When I got the car back, it felt brand new again! He didn’t try and sell me services that I didn’t need and did an absolutely fantastic job on my car. I HIGHLY recommend Mark and his team for any repairs and I will 100% be using him in the future again. Thanks again Mark! -A very happy customer.

They did an awesome job at fixing my low oil pressure problem on my 2013 Audi A4. They charged me less than the initial quote and gave me a good price when I picked it up. They worked fast and communicated well with me, which I appreciated.

I went last Friday that they were supposedly fixing my car since it had the chekin light on, it turns out that to my surprise today it turned on again and I felt so disappointed, 😞 the gentleman never took the trouble to even be able to translate on his cell phone an explanation of what he really did to my car, he only gave me a sheet where it said "purge valve" today I decided to take it directly to the Volkswagen because there it would be safe, I should have done that from the beginning (sometimes we think it will be more expensive and not) The problem that my car really had was that the seal of the fuel pump of my car was broken so I immediately asked for it to be repaired, what made me feel even more scammed was when they gave me the price in total $350 while in this place the gentleman charged me $ 365 for a problem that I did not solve, nothing to do :( so for the loss of my money and time if I could give 0 stars I would do it with pleasure and reason, I think something that could affect my experience in that place was The fact of being a woman or not being able to speak perfect English since for what I told the gentleman I used the translator of my cell phone but in the end the experts in mechanics are "they" I should not give too many explanations when I request a service and I have no problem paying. That's all
