I delivered my vehicle at 5:30 pm on a buisness day, and over the phone was told they would be able to do an inspection of the vehicle's coolant system and have it ready by mid morning the next day. I got to the shop and they told me it might take a little extra time, meaning end of the next day which was fine. I told them to call me with an update and a quote, and they never got back to me. I called at 5:45 the next day and they told me they hadn't even touched my vehicle yet and that it would take all day the next day. I needed my vehicle taken care of quickly as it is my only vehicle right now, so this was extremely inconvenient and unprofessional.

🚨 Owner has a bad temper and tried to upcharge me! The employee at the counter quoted me $150 to install my muffler. Then the owner said it was going to be $175 and I told him I was quoted $150. He began raising his voice and was upset he was losing out on $25 and begun to yell in frustration that I wasn’t supposed to get that price. He argued with me about the quote, then refused to install it at that price then stormed off yelling at his employee who quoted me. Very awkward business interaction..

I've been to a few Master Autotech locations and I'm very impressed with the culture and professionalism. I feel they are fair and honest and have always gone the extra mile. My most recent visit they cleaned my air filter at no extra cost just because it needed it. Will definitely be referring people to them. I went into Master AutoTech because I noticed my exhaust was hanging lower than normal. They were able to fit me right in and put my truck on the lift. While my truck was on the lift they walked me into the bay where they showed me the issue. An exhaust hanger had rusted through the pipe and it was sagging. They were very honest with me and gave me some options on getting it fixed. They ended up welding and shaping a new exhaust for my truck in less than an hour. Great shop with great employees.

I lived in Utah for a little over a year between 2024 and 2025 and this was the only place I trusted with my vehicle (2015 VW Jetta, TDI). Having a diesel sedan can be frustrating with even the simplest things like oil changes because most shops have to special order the specific oil filters. I never had any issues here and they were always very good to me. Last year, I had a unique problem the shop and I will never forget - when my car wouldn't start. I wanted my car towed to this specific location because I knew they'd be able to figure out the issue. It turns out there was some wiring shortage connected to the sun visor of all things. Mike and his team treated me so well & I will always recommend this place to all my friends in Utah. Come here if you want great service at a shop with the friendliest and most knowledgeable mechanics around.
