I ABSOLUTELY could NOT recommend these guys enough, they are complete saints!! They've spent weeks working on my Honda, a bad purchase in hindsight, and showed me so much grace and respect and patience. They really worked with me and exhausted absolutely all options before eventually deciding it would be more costly to fix it than it's worth, and didn't try to push more repairs on me (not that they ever tried to pressure me to begin with). At that point, they asked me some questions about the issues with the minivan I had tried to replace since I mentioned I wasn't able to sell it yet. Further, they asked me to bring it in so they could take a quick look at it. We realized the repairs would be worth it (compared to trying to find another beater to buy, like the Honda, for three times the cost of these repairs) and they got me back on the road in a vehicle that's perfect for my old dog with very recently diagnosed cancer. I learned the terrible news just moments before I received their call to get the van, the day I'm writing this, and they were so kind and heartfelt to me. On top of being absolutely swell people to work with, these guys have very reasonable rates and they genuinely care about the cars they work on, the people that drive them, and all without breaking the bank! Special shout out to Gordon, Eric, and Jacob for working so closely with me and being so incredibly genuine. But an equal shout-out to the workers behind the scenes that helped make it all happen. Give em all a raise! I give this shop a million stars -- they've earned another regular customer!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR EVERYTHING!

If you need something simple like an oil change or tires, this isn't a bad choice. If you're looking for diagnostic answers, general feedback on issues or future maintenance needs with a used car or you have any big repairs, I'd recommend you go else where. They didn't want or they didn't need my business, at least that's the impression they gave me. I'm actually glad they didn't follow up with me like they said they would, or share any in-depth findings of my used 4 Runner with me (like they said they would.) Because of that I went to a different shop and I'm glad to say I've found exactly what I was looking for at the other shop and more. I just wish I hadn't thrown $300 dollars away for absolutely nothing.

Two Thumbs Way Way Up!! Just letting it be known, Gordon, Chris and the crew saved my bacon today. I was driving through on the freeway and lost my belt. Battery light came on, lost my power steering and thought for sure I was in big trouble. I pulled off at the next exit and lucky me was able to pull into Vancouver Tire and Auto. I explained my troubles and they worked me in right away making sure I was able to drive home tonight (150 more miles) and be in my seat for a Nursing School final exam in the morning. Chris was incredibly helpful. He explained ALL of the details and issues with our 20 year old Volkswagen Jetta. While our vehicle (financially) is not worth fixing, he even gave us options for our vehicle as we seek to replace it. Vancouver Tire may not be a European vehicle repair shop, (which we did not know, as we were recommended by a friend) they treated us and our vehicle with sincerity and care. I needed a flat repair from a nail puncture today. After making a few calls to some bigger names in the vicinity, and being told that I would be low priority and a repair would take hours, I spoke with Chris at Vancouver Tire and Auto and he was great. Said he’d have his tire guy jump on it as soon as I showed up. He wasn’t lying. He was ready and waiting when I rolled in, came and grabbed my wheel out of the back of my car, and had it wrapped up in less than 20 minutes. I was on a time crunch because of being on a lunch break and these guys didn’t hesitate to get me taken care of quickly and without any fuss. Solid crew. Will definitely be back.

Avoid this place if you vlaue your time or money. Made an appointment to get tire installed, purchased and scheduled appt online. when we arrived they said it was going to be 3 hrours. They were supposed to call and confirm appt according to the email they sent, they did not. having an appointment means nothing. They said it was lunch time so it was going to take longer, it took 3.5 hours to get 4 tires installed with an appt. This is the second set of tires I boughtfrom them, both experiences have been terrible should have learnedthe first time. Customer service here is aweful ADDED After reply - You made my point by saying you had other appts arrive before ours, that is your problem to jmanage, also to say the issue was because of bent rims is false, the appt was for Noon, you started to install the tires at 2:45, so it took 3.5 hours from the time we arrived with an appt.

Came to have 4 wheels and tires put on my car. The gentleman changed the price once he saw the car was a Lexus. Stating that he will charge more for this wheel and tire job, than what the person who referred me here, informed me the shop charges. He marked up the price by 200%. Since I wanted to get it done, I took him to proceed. A Hispanic customer shows up after me, looking to change one tire, a $50 job. He proceeds to begin working on the Hispanic gentleman's tire job instead of mine. I ask him, why is he working on someone's car who came after me, he then says if I want him to do the job, he will do after this car or I can take my business else where. He then turns to the Hispanic customer and starts speaking in Spanish. I heard the Hispanic customer tell him to finish my job since I came first, he ignores his advice and works on the other car anyway. The job he eventually did on my car was not worth the money or that good of a balancing on the tires. Had to go elsewhere and pay for rework. Avoid this shop, proceed to come to vancouver tire shop at your own peril.

After driving the streets with slick tires, I realized I needed new shoes for my jeeps feet. New kevlar wrangler tires, and an alignment, makes it feel like a new vehicle. Thanks guys job well done. Also after I purchased the tires online and scheduled for the following Monday, they got the tires in the same day and had me in and done by 1030 the next morning.

So frustrated with them. I made an appointment on Friday to bring my fleet car in Monday morning for a basic inspection (required by my fleet). They told me to come in at 8:30 and I specifically asked if I could wait. Chris was like “oh yeah, we would take 30-45 tops for these inspections”. When I arrived the guy tells me they’re swamped with “retail walk ins” and it’s going to be at least a few hours! What the heck? Then he tries to tell me it’s 1st come 1st served! Then why make appointments like mine or at least honor my spot that YOU scheduled. So frustrating. Take your business someplace else. These guys are in crisis mode.

Beware of owner of this shop. He was rude unprofessional and refused to work on a tire that I am entitled to receive service for. For reference, I bought goodyear tires with a warranty. Under that warranty you can get service for it at shops that are part of the good year Tire and service Network also known as (TSN) which they advertise on there website. This shop is a partner of that network but when I came in and showed the warranty the owner said that he would have to charge me for the work. I explained to him that I shouldn’t be charged due to the warranty and he just refused to work on my tire. I was very taken aback by how cutthroat he was and his lack of professionalism. This is the owner of the shop mind you.

If you are reading these reviews and are on the fence about this shop - this review is for you. Two days away from a road trip with adverse conditions I realized my SUV needed new tires. After doing my research, I settled on the WeatherReady2. Unfortunately, my tire size is not very common and all major chains were unable to help, or get the tires in for at least 3-4 days. I gave Gordon a call and not only was he extremely friendly and helpful, but got the tires in-shop, the very next morning (I imagine the Goodyear affiliation helps here). There were minor delays due to delivery (not the shops fault) but otherwise it was a quick in and out. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate a shop that treats its customers like people and not dollar signs or an inconvenience (looking at you Schwab/Discount). The entire experience was personable, enjoyable, and I wouldn’t hesitate to repeat. Gordon, if you end up reading this - thanks again for pulling this together! If you appreciate that old school shop, give Gordon a call and see how he can help you.
