I have been coming to Veenstra's for a couple of years now and they have seen me through 3 different cars. They put up with my anxious car questions and frequent calls of "my car doesn't feel right". I use my Napa Easy Pay credit card here and it helps make large repairs more manageable. They are flexible, honest and do their best and are honest if they don't know the answer.

Veenstra's was amazing! I brought my car in because it was the closest shop to where it broke down, but I am so glad fate had me bring it to Veenstra's. They were so kind and communicative throughout the entire process. This was the best experience I've had with any auto shop, and they were able to get my transmission rebuilt in only a week, where other places quoted us over a month. I'd recommend them to anyone!

Great customer service and quality car service. Took my car here for a few things. I didn’t know what the problem was, just that there was one. They made a VERY detailed invoice when I picked up. They called me and updated me on what work they were doing, price, etc. The work I had done only took a few days. They also gave me a list of things that they noticed needed some attention. They gave me the option whether to move forward with those things. Again, very good customer service, quality work done on my vehicle, and reasonably priced. Summary of services I had done: control arm and tie rod replacement, alignment, lung nut replacement, tire rotation, and regular check of tire pressure and fluid levels. HIGHLY recommend!!

Shopping for a used car, especially from a private seller, is a lot of work, especially if you want a professional mechanic to check it out first. Veenstra's saved me by fitting me in for a pre-purchase inspection the same day I called. I greatly appreciated Mike going out of his way to do that so I could buy with confidence and not risk the seller moving on since he had other prospective buyers. What a relief. Veenstra's checked it out, reviewed the findings with me that it was a solid car but need some maintenance done, so I was able to finalize the purchase. A great experience. I highly recommend Veenstra's.

720 miles from home on a croaking hot day and my van kept chewing up serpentine belts. First small shop I stopped at was closed as he goes boating on Fridays. Second shop only worked on select vehicles and wasn't interested in mine. Used my last bit of spark to limp into Veenstra's. What a blessing! They are good Samaritans who did everything in their power to get me traveling again. Super honest, knowledgeable and friendly. I'd almost say they made the breakdown enjoyable. Good folks!

Called to get a quote for some work and they wouldn't said I had to come in and do another inspection to know if the work needed to be done... That wasn't the question though... Already knew the work needed to be done, just wanted the cost for various services. Seems fishy and like a racket... they just wanted to pocket extra fees when not needed... Will take my business elsewhere.

The folks at Veenstra's were great! I'm new to Grand Rapids and called them for help mostly because their location was convenient for me, but they ended up being super helpful. They helped me understand what repairs my Prius needed for safety reasons and what repairs could wait, etc., and they did the necessary repairs in a timely manner. I don't love paying for car repairs, of course, but it all seemed reasonably priced and transparent to me.

I brought a used vehicle into Veenstra's for a pre-purchase inspection and the process was fantastic--quick, thorough and reasonably priced. They gave me a breakdown report of every part of the car, the timeline for repairs in the future, and how much it would cost. This gave us a great basis for negotiating repairs and pricing with the dealership. Veenstra's even re-inspected the two most immediate issues after repair on the house, to reassure us that the vehicle was safe to drive! I will be bringing my new car here in the future.
