Lai is the mechanic at the shop and he is very fair with pricing and very knowledgeable. He did a great job fixing my Toyota and my Honda from air compressor to shocks and struts alternator and serpentine belt. I highly recommend Lai and his small family business!!! They are quick and efficient!!!

This auto repair shop is Tucson’s hidden gem. They do it all here from a simple oil change to repairing engine. The work and dedication they put in to getting your car run is top notch! They are decent, honest people and would only charge you for the actual repair done to your vehicle. There are no add on overhead costs or service fee like other shops. My family will definitely bring our cars back whenever we need a quick fix. Thank you!

Vinam gave me the best auto repair experience I've ever had, my vehcile broke down and he let me drop it off after hours. The owner called me and gave me updates on my vehcile through the day, he was super informative about what he looked for and what he was doing, and even gave me a great price for all the repairs (water pump & timing belt) he sent me a picture of his cctv showing my vehcile was done and that I could come pick it up. Him and his wife are very sweet, kind, and wonderful people 10 out of 10 I would come straight back here again to get my auto needs done

This is the best place to get your car repaired. The manager Lai is so honest and so reasonable! He’s always so pleasant and helpful. I can call him and he will make time to look at my car & repair it. He never over charges you. His wife is really sweet and I enjoy talking to her while waiting for my car to be finished. I just had my older minivan fixed by the chief mechanic Lai. He was able to fit me in to his busy schedule and I had my car back the next day. Aircon now working like a charm. His pricing for the aircon service / fixing and the oil change was very very reasonable. I am so happy that I found out about his auto shop from a guy at O'Reilly's auto spare! :) Definitely deserves a 5 star rating for quick service and excellent price. Thanks very much Lai!

My car was in an accident and when working on it, it's alot of work because of overly bent pieces. The service at Vinam was stellar. The prices were stellar. Everyone I talked to was incredibly pleasant to talk to. I highly recommend this place. Great price. Great service, even a followup call to see how things were going. What else can you ask for?

Even though the the prices may seem reasonable, however I brought my car in with ac issues. My husband personally bought a whole ac kit ( new compressor) for my car. The mechanic had my car for a week and a half then when we finally went and picked it up,the air still blew hot. he stated my fan was weak and that's why it still blows hot, even after having my car for a week, none that was mentioned until we came and got it.We again ordered new parts for the AC system, for him to say that the new AC compressor we had specifically ordered for my car brand new was defective. Which is very unlikely.after spending the money it had finally blown cold air for only a week. Then my car developed a leak from the radiator and my ac started blowing hot air. I had brought it in to another Mechanic, do to my surprise my ac compressor refrigerant was only at 0.7 pounds and almost empty. They couldn't continue the inspection because of the leaking from the radiator. Someone had put on a specific bracket on wrong and my radiator is bad. Vinam had not done a thorough job and the fact that my compressor didn't have refrigerant in it says alot about this mechanic. His inexperienced has cost us a lot of money. I highly do not recommend this mechanic to any one. We had lost time and money on something to never be done about it.

My car was inspected to be fix four things which was quoted about $2400 at the other store. Here He kindly inspected again and fix two and told me that rest two are not essential to be fix now. Since my car is old (2002), I am happy that i can run more after spending about $520 instead $2400. He replaced the radiator and engine torque mount with $200 labor fee. He is honest man. I am happy to visit again when I have any problem.

I went here after searching for a family owned mechanic and the 5 stars sold me. This place rules! Lai (the owner) and his wife were so incredibly nice to work with. I came in for an electrical problem which he fixed in minutes, and upon further inspection he noticed I was leaking coolant. He fixed it in a few hours and charged a reasonable price. Thank you so much! I’ve been to so many mechanics in the past and this was the most pleasant experience. I’ll always come back here.

I literally broke down on the side of the road and they helped me push my car to their automotive shop and offered me a really good deal to fix my car for a good price. He found the problem right away he called me and told me he ordered the part he fixed it super fast and called me the next day saying it was fixed already for a really good price.can’t find a better auto shop in town than this place. They are very hard workers, it’s owned by a husband and wife they a super nice and very helpful. I would definitely recommend going if you have any issues with your car

Very happy and glad I chose this shop. He is an honest stand up guy and his wife is very nice to talk to as well. I'd give 6 stars if I could. My camper van died on me randomly in AZ during the holiday, and never having been to the area I had to take a gamble. It's my home so I really like to know it's being handled well! He came in early AM after the holiday and diagnosed the issue for free. Turns out the problem was not nearly as bad as another mechanic told me, and he literally saved me $500!! He is very knowledgeable and took the time to explain the issue, and his diagnostic process. To top it off, I asked him if he could change my oil last minute, and without hesitation drove to the store to buy the proper filter to do it. The only downside is that I don't live in the area and will probably not find as good of a guy in my hometown!

Most trustworthy mechanic I've ever been to. A brand name mechanic shop told me I needed all new breaks, so I took it here for a second opinion. He took a look inside the wheel, showed me that they were lying, and sent me off without charging me a dime. Explained everything in a friendly way. Truly the best kind of guy you can hope to come across when getting car work done.

Very happy with the service I received at Vinam for my Honda Odyssey. I dropped off my car on a Tuesday morning, and he said it would be ready by Friday. I get a call early the next morning saying that the car was ready! He showed me all the old parts he replaced and gave me a very good price on all the repairs. Great service at a great price - what more can you ask for?
