Clean, nice waiting area. Be cautious if you dont know much about cars, I wouldn't recommend, avoid. Maybe just the day I went, but they want to charge above fair/market prices for work. But Everyones got bills bills to pay.....

Brought my lowered 2015 VW GTI in for alignment after hitting a pothole on 5/13/16. Was told no problem they can handle lowered cars. My camber was off on one side by 1 degree. I have dealership and alignment expierience. Giovanni tried to sell me some B.S. that my caster being slightly off is the reason that my car was returned to me with the steering wheel in the 11oclock position in order to drive straight. After complaining I was told to come back Monday. I returned today (Monday) at the same time I did on Friday and now I'm being told I am too late and I will have to come back. I was told there was alignments ahead of me. Well I was ahead of these people on Friday when this alignment should of been done correctly. They clearly don't know what they are doing. Clearly don't care about their customers if they send me away when I was told to come in. They also got caught in a lie not knowing I have mechanical experience.

Very bad people. I went there for car inspection and the guy jacked up my car looking for any problem. then he show me a minor leek in frot suspension which I'm aware it's not a road hazard. But he asked to fix it for $800 . When I said no he failed the inspection. Never again be careful bad people

I went here to get my car looked at after the check engine went on - I don't know the first thing about cars so I typically worry about getting taken advantage of when issues like this come up with my car... the mechanics here took care of it in 20 minutes. In and out. Been going since to get the typical oil changes/inspections and they’ve continued to provide me with incredible service to the point I had to give a review. If you want reliability and mechanics that won’t try and ring you out for unknown mysterious engine issues; this is the place.

Professional and knowledgeable. I bring all three of my cars there for everything from major repairs to simple oil changes. They always do a great a great job getting me in and out when possible and are honest and upfront about costs and timetables on any major work I’ve had done on my two older cars (2007 Galant and 2012 Liberty) overall I highly recommended Vito’s compared to a lot of the other shops on Staten Island that I personally have had bad experiences with.

I couldn't start my Jeep Wrangler last week. I called a bunch of repair shops and Vitos was only one that answered. They sent a tow truck and within a couple days I had the car back. Excellent service. I spoke to GIo who was polite and professional. I would recommend and definitely use again!!!

DO NOT go here for a state inspection!, I went yesterday around 8 am, had what it seems to be one of the owners sons friends before me and it sounded like they were friends , because they were talking about vacation and kids, getting his jeep a inspection ( with tints ) and passed him and got him out the door, now time for my car, it gets put on the lift and he says my Kona needs brakes and I’m failing you, he didn’t specify why, just said all 4 are down to the bone and if you get brakes with me I’ll pass you for your tint. Called my father who’s a mechanic by trade and he told me to bring the car home and nothing was wrong with the brakes, there was a little surface rust on the rear rotors which are common when a car sits for so long. So we called back the shop and my father called him out on it and all the clown did was laugh, because he knew he was caught in a lie and trying to upsell me a $800 dollar brake job, to try to make money off of me but he messed up because he thought I probably didn’t know anything about cars, he didn’t know my father is a mechanic who actually knows what he’s talking about and is straight forward. This shop probably does this to everyone because all these mechanic shops are hungry because of the economy today. He will only pass his boys or people he knows for tints, that’s why he basically failed me because he didn’t know me and if I failed for the tints fine it’s understandable, because the tints are on me and your not supposed to have them. but the fact he tried to lie to scam me and try to say I’ll pass you if you pay for brakes is NOT okay. and he will try to scam you too on things your car doesn’t need. even though he passed my 2 cars with tints the past 3 years he messed up yesterday and now when people see this review I hope people do not get scammed like one of the owners tried to me, please don’t go to this shop. I hope you lying was worth it, now with this review and letting all my coworkers and friends and family know, about your shop I hope it hurts you or teaches a lesson don’t scam your customers.
