2022 Taos. Fuel line connector under rear seat not properly installed during production. Became loose at 51,000 miles and leaked gas and strong gas smells. A manufacturing defect yet charged $2000. to repair it.

Tire warning light came on. Went to the dealer, where they inspected tires and found nothing wrong. Warning light extinguished. The next day light came back on. Went back to the dealer where they found a nail that they had missed the day before. Charged me $44 and told me they couldn’t repair it there. I went to Les Schwab’s where they repaired it…no charge. So, I was charged $44 for a problem you missed and couldn’t repair! I would like a refund.

Caleb and Austin saved my day and I am so very grateful. Basically, I went to go buy tires for my new to me VW and discovered the existence of anti-theft lug bolts. I drove straight to Volkswagen of Bellingham, Caleb was able to help me solve the problem and I really appreciate his help. Austin quickly got my new bolts secured and I was on my way. Today was the only time I had to get my tires replaced, so them going above and beyond for me made a huge difference in my life. I’d been informed just how dangerous my tires looked and this would have impacted my ability to pick up my kiddo from his dad’s this weekend. Thank you!!

Our 2022 Taos had massive gas smell in cabin. This was diagnosed to be a fuel line connector issue which is well documented for this vehicle (with class action cases in other states). Even though this is a health and safety issue, it is was not covered by any current recalls or warranties so were quoted $2,000 to fix. I do not trust VW nor this dealership to own up to clear safety issues or providing acceptable customer service.

I have only good things to say about this dealership as of Nov 2025 when Hilda Gomez and Joseph in VW Service saved my sorry (self ; )) on a rainy, cold day when my very new ID4 refused to release from a ChargePoint station and Ihad exhaused all other options. Joe came to me and magically got the plug to let go (when the owner's manual and U-tube techniques, emegency release, and a full power station shutdown by ChargePoint could not). That let me drive to VW on Iowa St. to pick up a late-in-the-day loner vehicle to get home while Dave in Service debugged/software updated. I had two former VW's serviced with he former "Rodger Jobs VW" and I can only say that they have won me back! Thank you Hilda and team for super service and extraordinary care.

I want to compliment salesmen John and Jake. Although we weren't able to come together on price, I was impressed with their knowledge of the car and if they didn't know the answers to my questions they didn't try and BS through it. At no time did I feel pressured to close the deal. If you are in the market for a VW, Audi or Porsche I'd recommend this dealership.
