I rarely write reviews, but this was one of the worst dealer experiences I’ve had in 30+ years of buying cars. I spoke with Jase, who was professional and helpful and is the only reason this is a two-star review. We agreed to MSRP on a 2026 Golf R with no markup. I completed the credit application immediately and explained I was out of town and couldn’t pick up the car right away. Jase said a deposit could be taken to hold the vehicle once my credit was approved, and noted his associate Rafael would handle things the next day. That’s when the process fell apart. Communication with Rafael was difficult, and after telling me I had excellent credit, he provided a 5.9% rate, then later said he could get 3.9% through a credit union—an odd sequence given my 800+ credit score. After several hours without an update, I called back and was told someone else was purchasing the same car we had been working on. Rafael stated it was “first come, first served” and refused to accept my deposit despite the prior agreement. I was transferred to the manager, Tony, who acknowledged the situation “wasn’t right” and apologized, but still stood behind the policy and confirmed the car had been sold. If you’re considering this dealership, be aware they may not honor verbal commitments—even after running and approving your credit. In contrast, I found another dealer the next day that located the exact color I wanted and handled everything professionally.

This is my second time buying from Volkswagen of Murrieta. It's my family's 4th time. Myself, my wife and my daughter are all VW of Murrieta customers and I can only see us coming back again and again whenever we need to update our vehicles. I loved my Jetta but was looking for an upgrade to a larger vehicle for some comfortable road trips over the summer with the whole family. LeeAnn Webb was able to make the entire transaction smooth! I love my new Tiguan even though I've only been driving it for 3 days! I can't wait to take it on some fun trips. I recently purchased a 2025 VW Golf GTI from VW of Murrieta, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Having lived in Temecula and even worked at this very dealership back in the early 2000’s… it felt like coming full circle. I had shopped around at McKenna VW, where I was unfortunately treated poorly, and also considered a Honda Civic in DCH Temecula. But from the moment I connected with Kailey Internet Sales Manager at VW of Murrieta, the difference was night and day. Susie loves her job and it is apparent from the moment you talk to her on the phone. Alice was great and very patient with us while we made our decision on which car to purchase. She took her time and let us weigh our options without being pushy when we ended up going with a vehicle we did not initially intend on purchasing. We went back and forth with Jorge for a while and he ended up honoring everything he said he would do. I know there were conversations he had to have in the background to make that happen and he earned our respect for that. Jason in finance is great and made the back end of our purchase fun for us. We will have to purchase quite a few vehicles for our kids in the upcoming years and the experience we had made this team our first choice for our next dealer we go to. Would highly recommend. This is an ethical dealership that so far has done right by their customer and we will definitely be coming back. My sales representative LeeAnn Webb was phenomenal!!! She worked with me on which vehicle I wanted. Actually she sent me lease quotes in two different models. She even took time to answer potential monthly payments, before I even came into the dealership. She really worked with management to get the monthly, to a comfortable amount. Thank you for all your help!! I would recommend this dealership and specifically LeeAnn to anyone considering a new VW or new vehicle. Our sales consultant Adrian Padilla was super helpful and even before we started to sign the contract. He ask if we could give him some time to see, if he could speak to VW finance again. To see if he could lower our monthly payment. He also help with reducing or eliminating other areas to give us at no cost oil changes up to 8 times, extend warranty to 60,00 miles. Plus he waived our first payment! I would him to anyone looking for a new VW. Thank you for your help!!
