My car's steering column was pulling to the right when I was driving. To fix the problem I was quoted by the dealership $1,300.00 to fix my steering and alignment. I received another quote for the same from another mechanic for $900.00. A friend told me about the level of integrity at Vons Auto Care so I took my car to Vons. The owner took my car for a drive to validated and diagnose it was pulling to the right so he could rule out that the problem was not the tire. When he came back from the drive he agreed that it was indeed pulling to the right while he was driving it. He then put the car on his lift and said that he was going to switch the right front tire to the left front side and take it for a drive to rule out that the problem was not the tire. When he came back from the second test drive the owner told me the car is now pulling to the left and the problem is indeed the tire.The owner gave me my car back and told me to go to the place to where I bought my tires and have them exercise my tire warranty for a new tire. The best part was that the Owner at Von Auto care did not charge me for the test drive. He said his estimate was free! I have found a new mechanic and they have made a new friend.

Ben has been wonderful for the past 18 years that we have trusted our 5 cars to his care. His rates are very fair but more importantly, he is honest. Many times over the years he could have charged us for large repairs when all that was needed was to replace a single part. We didn't know what to expect - $100 to $1000 and yet, many times the bill came in under $100 - a few times under $10 (just needed to tighten a bolt that had come loose over the years. 2 of our cars are over 10 years old and yet Ben has kept us on the road. This review is from Barbara Ramseyer. A few weeks ago, I had some major damage done to the underneath of my car. I chose to look at Anaheim Hills Buzz for some recommendations. Von Auto Care, Inc. I called and spoke with Dan. He was so very friendly and listened to what I knew was wrong with my car. He said he could get me in for an appointment right away. I had my car towed there the next day. He gave me a quote and said it would probably be done the next day at noon. My daughters picked up my car at the time he gave me and the final invoice was exactly what he quoted! I have now found an auto repair where I will continue to take my car for any further repairs. They were fast, efficient, and super friendly. I would highly recommend Dan at Von Auto Care, Inc. I am very happy with the results.

Von Auto Care owner and staff have always given me very fair pricing and great service! My 18+ year old car needed most of the coolant hoses, radiator, heater core, etc all replaced (due to old age and severe neglect on my part). Their prices were lower or comparable to other places, their availability to perform the work was superb. Job completion time was wonderful, even on simpler things like oil changes (LOF).

I did regular maintenance from a dealership which I will not name even though i’ve been going there for many years for this reason. I was printed out what was wrong with my car and it showed my rear drum brakes are in need of maintenance asap and it will cost $700 and change. I don’t have that kind of money. The headache and anxiety driving to work thinking my car has a less effective brakes. I took it to Von Auto Care and spoke with Chandler. quoted me a reasonable price for my peace of mind. It’s a small shop hidden in the back corner. Chandler called me after diagnosing my brakes and told me my brakes are good. I was shocked! the dealership would’ve robbed me $700 for nothing. I offered to pay Chandler for his time and he kindly refused and told me to pay it forward. I don’t know what to say. Chandler, you’re a good person and an awesome auto technician. with this kind gesture you will have a returning customer.
