Finally. A company I feel comfortable with. People are friendly. Questions are answered patiently. I didn't have to leave my car for days. And I was dropped off and picked up by their kind driver at home until it was ready. I'll trust my 1998 Camry with Placentia Super Service whenever I need servicing.

I had the brakes serviced here a couple of months back based on the recommendation of the service manager. Shortly after, the brakes start to squeak. When I took the vehicle back in for inspection, I was informed that the squeaks are not due to any defects on the pads or the rotors, but rather, it is due to a shock that may be worn and therefore putting more pressure on the brakes, which subsequently, overheats the rotor. If shocks are not serviced, then the rotors will fail prematurely, nullifying the warranties... My issue is, this seems like a round and about way to try to steer away from resolving the brake issue, which I did not have prior to getting it serviced at the shop...

I would advise you to beware and perhaps steer clear of this establishment. My step-daughter, a college student, had some issues with her radiator and, in taking it to this shop, was given a laundry list of other urgent repairs that needed to be made from brakes (which had just been replaced in another state a few months earlier), to tie rods, to the battery. Had she gone through with it, the total bill would have been well over $5K. We got a second opinion from another shop who inspected the full vehicle, stated that it is well maintained (specifically mentioning that the brakes are good) and that besides the radiator repair their was nothing else to be concerned with. Over $4K of unnecessary expense was avoided by taking the vehicle elsewhere. To be clear, this is not a fake or malicious review - it is real and honest, written to inform other potential customers and hold this business accountable for what certainly seems to be some shady upselling tactics.

I would like to say that this shop is not good at all. I don't mean to say anything, but the shop damaged my engine cover. There are pictures attached to this review. As a customer, I would like to ask who is responsible for this. They should care that customers trust them to fix their cars and feel comfortable using their services. Joe may seem arrogant, but Gilbert is great. After reading the reviews, I thought that using this shop would not disappoint me. But I was really disappointed. There are other problems. I wish I had more time to type. However, I may be negative about this incident, but trust me, if you care more about your car, like you fix your own car, there would not be reviews like this for you to read and feel bad about me for writing such a review.

A check engine light for a bad coolant thermostate became a major upgrade to decades of wear & tear on the under-carriage and suspension system on my 2004 Chevy Malibu. Dion was professional, informative, helpful and worked to get the best price possible. ReeAnn was charming and drove me home and picked me up when the car was read, which was a nice service. I had a good experience and would recommend Super Service.

Last time I came here, I got my wiper blades replaced, they only put one on, so when I went to use them, they scratched my windshield. I told them about it when I came to get my front brakes done, he told me they couldn’t do anything but sell me another one. Now onto the brake service, for one it was $800 for just my front brake pad and rotor on a daily driven mazda. They took 5 hours for just the brake pads, and I had to leave for an appointment before they could put on the rotors. When the mechanic brought out the car, he told me that the service was ridiculous for how long it took, and that I should ask for money back and a free car wash. After the appointment, the replaced the rotors, and told me I needed a new belt tensioner because it was leaking. They quoted me $750 and that it was a very extensive process. Took it to another shop because I had a feeling they were ripping me off, this shop quoted me $250 for the part $150 for the labor $400 total, had it done in 90 minutes. Won’t be coming back here I recommend you stay away.

Hello. My car is a Hyundai Accent 1.6 sedan (13MY). Every time I start the car, the door makes a squeaking noise four times. I replaced the door actuator myself, but that didn't help. I went to Anaheim Hyundai for an inspection, and they diagnosed the junction box (fuse box) as faulty. I later bought a used junction box from eBay and replaced it myself, but the noise persists. If I bring the car in, can you fix it?

The people at the location are nice and friendly. The operation seems efficient. They were able to get my truck in quickly. The problem came from the diagnoses. They said I needed cam chain tensioners; that was a 4k job and is a known issue on my truck, but the sound I was hearing didn't match what other people experience with this issue. I didn't get the work done. The problem was the starter. I figured it out on my own and replaced it at home. I have taken 3 different vehicles there, and they have recommended very extensive and sometimes incorrect repairs. I am afraid this visit will be my last to their shop.

I thought I give them another chance after having previous issues. After paying much $$$, I picked up my vehicle from Placentia Super Service. I had brought my vehicle in before a long trip for some safety concerns and issues I was having with my vehicle running rough and stalling in traffic. I also requested the brake pads be replaced as required. They did not service my brakes as requested, stating “Your brakes are fine”. I noticed they also did not rotate the tires. Shortly after receiving my vehicle back and a 300 miles away and in the rain, my vehicle failed in traffic. This is the second time this type of problem has happened where the customers vehicle are operating worst than it did before they touched it!! I ended up having my vehicle towed to another shop, a dealership. All the work took a few weeks to diagnose, repair, replace, correct and pay for the work preformed. The dealership also pointed out that the brake pads should have been replaced at Placentia Super Service, since one was at 2mm! Like a previous visits to Placentia Super Service, they have not been accountable when I reached out to them. I have not heard back from P.S.S. since my last communication over a week ago. *I recommend others read their 1 and 2 star reviews on Yelp and google. Interestingly, many of their 5 star ratings and reviews are by people that only have a couple of check in or reviews or less. I suppose if you are only seeking smiling and persuasive staff this could be a place for you.

I would come back & refer my friends. Great reliable service. I was greeted by several people asking if i was being helped while my service advisor was checking with mechanic. Ricky was nice to work with. He kept in contact with my Jeeps issue. When I picked it up the mechanic came out to ask if i had any questions. My jeep’s electrical system went haywire! They took me in & thoroughly fixed it within 24hrs. I’ve never dealt with a system like there’s before not even at the dealership. They will create an account for you in their system. They take photos of the damage. And then they take photos of how they fixed it. You can access your account and look at the progress. They also checked everything else as a courtesy. They found the corroded wires, Strip them, replace them rewire them. Then they seal them up so they’re waterproof. They actually ran it through a car wash to make sure their work was solid not only did they fix it but they tested it to make sure the job was done right!! I had the same problem a year ago and took my jeep back to J Star where we bought it. They never fully fixed the problem but Placentia Super Service did!!

Came in for a smog test. The person I was served by was exceptional. He was pleasant, kind and gave me a lot of good advice about cars in general. I really appreciated their wide offerings of snacks and drinks. The popcorn and hot chocolate made my wait much more bearable. I would definitely consider bringing my car there for future repairs. Update since my last review: The team took the time to address all of the issues I previously mentioned and even reimbursed me for the battery I had paid for. On top of that, they offered a complimentary service on my next visit, which I truly appreciated. What really makes a company stand out is how they listen to their customers and how they make things right when something goes wrong. Their attention to quality control and willingness to take responsibility ultimately won me over. I want to thank Don and Benjamin for listening to my concerns, acknowledging the issues, and going the extra mile to make things right. -_________________________ Pretty disappointed with this place. I took my car in on Friday and was told they were busy and that it might not be ready until Saturday. I appreciated the honesty and said that was fine. However, when Saturday came, there was no follow-up or update on my car. I later realized they were closed on Sunday, which is on me. By Monday, I still hadn’t received a call, so I contacted the shop and spoke with the receptionist, who was polite and helpful. I was told my advisor would call me back, but I never received a response. On Tuesday, I called again and was told my car still wasn’t ready but would be finished by 5 p.m. I don’t understand why the service took four business days with little to no communication. I was also told my battery needed to be replaced, but it’s only 14 months old and still under a three-year warranty. I took the battery to Costco for a replacement, only to be told the battery tested perfectly fine and should last for several more years. That was frustrating and concerning. Now I’m hearing a noise under my car that sounds like something may be loose, which makes me hesitant to bring it back. Also, my oil change service reminder on the dashboard was not reset. Now I have to figure out how to reset my service reminder. I’ve had good experiences here in the past, but this visit was a letdown and has hurt my trust in their service.

Took in my car for an alternator repair and from beginning to end the service was amazing. They offered me some refreshers and snack while i waited for the check in of the vehicle. They went through all details and gave me a ride back home which helps when you live on your own and only have one car. The fact that i was being informed by phone call and through texts at every progress point was important to me. Servicing rep was Gilbert, and along with the rest of the team, the customer service was incredible. Was recommended by my sister and i definitely recommend them to anyone. Great work

Came here a couple months ago to get my front control arms replaced, and haven't had a problem since. I initially went though yelp to receive a quote/schedule an appointment, but received no response for a couple days. I simply called the store and Gilbert was able to give me a quote and schedule an appointment within minutes. The price was reasonable compared to other places and what was estimated online. On my service date, the parking was a bit of a hassle and I ended up going towards the back lot which was meant for employees only. Luckily, I found a spot along the building wall. Once inside, staff were welcoming and Gilbert was able to start my service and set me up with a complimentary ride to and from my place all within 15 minutes. The waiting area was comfortable and had snacks/beverages. Everything was completed within 3 hours, and I never felt any pressure from Gilbert to perform any additional services that they found upon their full service inspection. Overall, I wished there was better parking, but Gilbert and the rest of his team were awesome!

Very friendly people. I needed my car back in a few hours and they put a rush order on it and got me in and out quickly. They found other issues with my car, showed me and explained things to me. They showed me the new parts when they came in. They had an amazing lobby with coffee and even popcorn. I needed to do homework and they even had a desk and charge area. Joe up front was super helpful. He even gave me a shirt and two more for my daughters. I would highly recommend this shop
