Had all 4 brakes replaced here. Rotors and pads. Brakes began squeaking every morning when backing out of the driveway. Had another shop look at the brakes less than a year later. Found out that Wales had installed the cheapest of the cheap parts. Wales also wanted to replace all 4 tires during the visit for the brakes. We declined the offer. Interestingly, the next morning after the brake job was completed, one of our tires had a pin hole leak in it. Had to have that tire patched. We found that to be highly suspicious. We won't go back here because of these reasons.

I called Wales Auto while trying to get quotes for an engine replacement av dealer was saying I needed. I was so impressed by the friendliness of both Todd and John that I made an appointment with them to have my vehicle checked out for another issue. Although I need a converter replaced, John was very HONEST with me and told me that is not going to fix the issue I was having. He was also very understanding that I could not afford to do the replacement right now if I was possibly looking at a transmission repair (their shop does not do the work I need). They are not money hungry and are so kind and honest. Integrity will keep them running for years to come.

Service Excellence! My Jeep broke down in WV and not knowing the issue, I had it towed to Wales Auto for their honesty and integrity. When they called with the issue, Todd Had already checked online for any recalls, called a local Jeep dealership to verify info and said while Wales Auto would be happy to do the work, the Jeep dealership could do the recall for no cost! He printed and provided me all the information, told me who to call and offered to make arrangements to have my Jeep towed there. This is exactly why I would never go anywhere else. Wales Auto is truly a place to trust!

Bad experience last time I took my car there! Took car there for a noise it would make at times. Mechanic rode with me and heard it. Left it there and was told they couldn't find what the noise was from which is fine but said my suspension was good. I didn't ask for suspension to be checked. Drove off and my car was not the same! It was squeaky and not sturdy as it only was before. I think they aggressively pushed hard up and down on my car to check suspension which is old barbaric thing to do. You can break something that is not broke by doing that and is exactly what happened. It was sturdy when brought to them and received back not sturdy. Then, Shortly after back strut was detached from my car along with metal pieces fell off.

I just had my Jeep Renegade in on Tuesday July 7, 2020. I've been going to Todd and Jason for over 20 years. I love Wales Auto Repair. I have always been satisfied with their work, their honesty and friendliness. They have always taken great care of me and my past and present Jeeps. I wouldn't go anywhere else. I can always trust them with what they tell me I'm in need of. And being a girlie who knows nothing about cars that's important. Update: I was in for another oil change June 29,2022. Needed all fluids changed, transfer case, front and rear diffs, transmission, and coolant. Todd keeps you updated every step of the way. I also complained of what I thought was a noise coming from the front passenger side. They thoroughly inspected and found nothing wrong. Honest and fair priced. I was taking my vehicles to Streetsborro in the past but that is an hour drive now. So glad I found Wales Automotive! If getting your car worked on is a hassle, I highly recommend Wales Auto. We arranged to have my sister's car towed to Wales Auto. The next day I was sent a full report showing any issues with the vehicle. Wales Automotive has worked on my 2012 Ford Fusion SEL since new. All maintenance is up to date. The car runs and drive nice. No vibrations at highway speed. No weird noises. No fluid leaks. The car has over 150K miles on it. Still a nice car. It would not be as nice if I did not have a good trust worthy company looking after it.
