They tried to play me dumb. I checked behind them after an oil change. It was overfilled. Called a manager out and told me there was nothing wrong woth overfilling the engine. I might be a girl but im not stupid when it comes to cars. They then tried to say it was not overfilled until i got loud and put one finger on the heat line and the other finger on the oil line and said "this line is NOT under that line???" i must be blind! Said it loud enough for others to hear. All of a sudden their offering to drain it out for me. They also mixed the oil after i had told them what oil i was originally using. All they do is unplug it and let it drain. They do not pull the pan or anything and in their eyes its ok to mix oil. I will not take my car back here just for the simple fact that i didnt understand cars theywoukd have flat out buttered me up and lied to me.

Mechanics are not friendly, they look tired, bad temper. Some cashiers at the auto center have a kind of racist or despotic attitude, they do not help customers when a question or help request arises. Last time, I rather drove all the way to Galveston's Walmart just to avoid another frustrating experience at La Marque.

Service writer took over 30 minutes to write a tire repair that's under warranty. There was 1 person who was getting an oil change ahead of me that was already beeing done and it still took them over an hour to start on my tire. This has to be the worst service center I have ever seen.. 2 hours total time for a flat repair that should have took 15 minutes. Save your self a headache and go somewhere else to get tire's.

Went for an oil change and tires. With 4 vehicles ahead of me, I shopped for groceries and in less than 1 hour, I was loading up in my vehicle and headed back home. Great team and service!

The hasle was absolutely not worth what I thought was a cheaper price. I specifically called ahead to confirm the out the door price, but was hit with extra fees after they were installed. Took them 45 minutes after they were done just to figure out the paperwork. Manager waved some fees that weren't disclosed but not all. I will not be returning.

Had some minor car problems on the way to Galveston and stopped by this Walmart Auto Care Center. They were prompt in greeting us and were able to address the problem quickly. The person who took care of us even explained exactly what happened and what he did so we would know if there was a similar problem in the future (and answered some additional questions we had). Very thankful we chose to come here.

family and i are on the side of 45 trying to get to their location after the tire on our trailer blew out. it’s 5 pm and the website says the close at 8. i called to make sure that was correct and after telling the women on the phone with me she couldn’t care less what happened and told me that they’re slow right now and if i can’t get there soon then i’m out of luck because apparently they just decide to close early if it’s slow. not to mention they are the only “auto” place open in this area right now and i live an hour away. completely unprofessional and the women on the phone should be fired.

I had a problem with one of the tires on my work van. With a huge meeting early the next morning I had no choice but to show up to this Walmart tire center 15min before they closed. I know this was not ideal and I’m sure that the guys were ready to get off and go home. Huge shout out to Josue for fixing my flat! He pulled me out of a bad spot. I will for sure be back to purchase new tires here because of this. Thank you guys for your service and taking care of my van regardless of your business hours! Tatiana was a huge help as well! 10 out of 10!

I attempted to use the business Sunday morning. The lady at the desk told me they had to wait for the manager to get there to open the door. I waited 15 minutes with no assistance. All i wanted was a oil change. This is terrible, at least someone could acknowledge me and let me know that they would be with me.

Went with a friend to get a puncture fixed on a tire that still had a LOT of life left in it. The tire was only a couple years old and still had plenty of tread and was evenly worn. They lied to my friends face telling them the tire was bald and couldn't be repaired. It was an employee who wasn't even in uniform doing all this, very unprofessional shop.

Went to this location due to a screw in my work vehicles’ tire. All other tire shops were closed and needed the vehicle for work at 5am Monday morning. I got my tire fixed and asked them to replace my tire sensors for each tire. It took them 3 hours to fix the tire and they never told me that the sensor were not in stock. I could’ve gone to discount tire and gotten the tire fixed for free and they had the sensors. I will never recommend people to visit store.

i went in for services (oil change, headlight installation, cabin air filter replacement) it took almost an hour and a half just for me to get to ready to pay for everything and was told they couldn’t do my headlight installation or my cabin air filter replacement! so i only got 1/3 of my services and it took over an hour for what? just extremely inconvenient and this ain’t the first time yall have done this to me. after this experience i just won’t be back anymore i can get better service across the street at valvoline.
