Straight clowns. Said they’ve only worked there for two months and it shows. Went for a simple battery issue and they said battery was fine. Couldn’t even get my car jumped had to leave my car in the parking lot for the night. Couldn’t even do their job. Never go to Walmart for car problems.

Had an appointment for tires at 10am and it was after 12:30pm when they got done. Service definitely is not good. They didn't even pull the car in to work on til 11am

My wife took here van in for 2 new rear tires. I get a call from the service manager that they stripped a lug nut and can't get it off or have the tools to remove it. They had me call local mechanic in the area to find one that could fix it for them. None were open on a Saturday afternoon. So I told the manager (Dan) to send my wife home with the other tire and I will get it replaced at home from a mechanic( we live 2hours away).I drop it off at my local mechanic one evening and he calls me the next morning saying the tire is the wrong size 16" tire when I have a 17" inch rim. So I have to run to another Walmart that night one hour away to grab the correct tire so they match and run it all the way back to my mechanic. Now I am here trying to take that tire back and they won't return it bc it doesn't match, after 2 hours and watching video surveillance they figured it out and finally refunded my money..

Waited at register for over a half an hour but nobody came to greet me. When I tracked down a mechanic, he said they were too busy for an oil change. But he was a nice fellow and they were obviously busy.

I usually get my oil changed at Walmart. I’ve been trying to get an oil change for the last three weeks here and for some reason they say that they’re booked for the whole day even if I come at 10 AM. Today an old guy named john told me that there would be a two hour wait which I accepted. He told me okay I’ll be right back and left. He left me at the desk for at least 40 minutes and I saw him at the shop, laughing and talking to other workers. Then another guy comes up and asked me what I needed. I told him I need an oil change and he told me that they were booked for the day which is really irritating after I had to wait there for 40 minutes for no service! Never coming back here again

Had to get 2 tires put on my vehicle. Talked to the service department before I got there. They had the knowledge and resources to accommodate me. The wait was pretty long like 3.5 hours but the work they did was great. If I need tires again I will definitely consider coming here. Best price for tires in town.

I'd rate zero stars if possible; these guys carelessly damaged my vehicle, told me that I had to cover repairs, and expected me to take them at their word only that they'd reimburse, avoid at all costs.

Made an appointment at noon. Was even a little early. Did some grocery shopping while waiting for my tires to be installed on my car, came back an hour and half later and they hadn’t even started on my car. They all decided to go to lunch instead.

I went for an oil change. I asked the mechanic to check my brake fluid levels. He came back to me and advised my brakes are electric, so there is no fluid. I have a '12 Chevy vehicle. I had to show him where my break fluid reserve was. It was very low fluid. Other than that, oil change was fine.

So, this isn't necessarily for the tire center OR employees, but the disconnect between the walmart online app and what they actually sell in store. So I found the tires I wanted, by selecting "IN STORE ONLY" and scheduled an "OPEN DATE" for this Saturday at 11am. I paid for the tires and install and I hadn't received a confirmation on my schedule so I went to walmart tires to make sure everything was good and see if they could get me in today by off chance since they had it in store because my wife called and they said that would be a possibility. I get in and come to find out the tires that were supposed to be IN STORE STOCK in fact aren't even sold in the store at all, they don't even sell that brand. AND it shows that the tires haven't even shipped and they won't be until the 23rd of April. So now I tried to cancel my order and they tell me that I might not be able to because it could have been picked and ready to be shipped. If I could leave a zero star I would, how in 2025 are you that brainless to have the option to pick in store and they not only don't have them in store, but don't even sell them at all!? Safe to say i will NEVER EVER be buying tires from Walmart again And I will be telling EVERYONE about this experience to save as many people from this drama as possible. Again this Does not reflect the employees of the tire center just walmart and the marketing team and their online process.

I had a fantastic experience today. Tyler with the auto center was very kind and accommodating. I am a ding dong who tried to cut my tire off it's rim with a box knife. He was able to get the tire off the rim and a new tire put on the car. While doing so he noticed my windshield wiper was getting dull so he called to ask if I was interested in replacing that while there. I was originally quoted 2 and 1/2 hours but I was in and out of the store in 33 minutes. I didn't catch her name but the blond girl working at the counter was also fantastic and was attentive in getting me help. Thank you thank you!

Came in last week to get my tpms recalibrated as they were closing. They tried multiple times on each tire to recalibrate them but they had no life in the. They said they would need to be replaced. Made an appointment earlier this week for friday at 9am. I was 20 minutes late but the service manager Luis still was able to get me in. They weren't sure if the tpms sensors were in stock. LUIS went and looked and couldn't find some. Instead of sending me away he went next door and found the tpms sensors, he personally walked over and got them amazing customer service. LUIS also did the repairs himself and did a great job

ONE STAR FOR POOR STAFFING. Workers in the Tire and Auto are competent, friendly, and helpful - service is professional overall, but there’s simply NO excuse for not staffing to meet demands. This is a direct reflection on poor management; they must not be paying their workers enough.

Made an appointment to get my oil changed from 12:30-1:30 It took me 15 minutes to get helped. I had to leave for work which is why I scheduled that time but they hadn’t even started working on changing the oil so I came back to get my car I waited in line for 20 more minutes until I was finally helped. Will NOT be going here ever again so not only do I not have my oil changed but I need to now go out of my way once more to get it changed this weekend so I wasted hours of my life.

Auto servicing is very frustrating here. I booked appointment for oil change several times but at none of the time they started servicing on time. They are always late and it could go even more than 1 hour delay. Servicing at arrowhead is far better this s louise ave one.

Stopped in at 11am because my battery is bad in my car, they said they didn’t have time to install it now, but they would schedule me an appointment for 3pm and could do it then. Great! I come in at 3pm and they inform me it will still be a two hour wait as they “have other appointments.” Maybe stop allowing walk-in’s and stop overbooking when you don’t have the staff.

There was a two hour wait to get the oil changed on a Saturday so heads up, it's busy! They did a fine job and staff was very friendly. They do have a waiting area with a TV but that TV wasn't on so make your own entertainment I suppose. We walked around local businesses for a while and when we came back to sit and wait, we were only sitting for about ten minutes at that time.

I have not had good luck with the Walmart Auto center on Louisein Sioux Falls. Original post down below but an updated one for customer service. 5 stars Bought a H2 with over size tires and needed new ones. Ordered thru Walmart. Arrived and made an appointment to get them installed. Couldn't do it. Lift was inoperable that they use for larger vehicles. Floor supervisor asked me to come back Tuesday morning and it would be fixed. Installing of the tires would be on the house. Came back Tuesday and dropped off my vehicle at approximately 0930hrs. At approximately 1800hrs, I had still not gotten a call on my vehicle. Called them and it was reported to me that they could not install my tires. Didnt really give me a reason. Was a tad bit perturbed that I had to call to begin with. But the floor supervisor made a note that they would re-emburse me for what ever I spent at another shop getting my tires installed. 172 dollars later, Walmart customer service made good on that promise. Thank you.
