Not a "bad" experience but it's worth noting that this shop seems to require an appointment for an oil change. They turned me away several hours before close because they were too busy. So it might be best to call ahead.

I find it extremely bad for business when a customer like myself and many others spend hundreds of dollars on brand new tires with warranty on all and I call to see about getting a flat fixed and I get told that there is a 3 hour wait that's fine I dont have a problem with waiting so I ask if I can schedule an appointment later in the day to get it fixed and then I'm told that I can't make an appointment for that day to get it fixed NEVER again will I use Walmart's auto service nor will I ever reccomend anyone wasting there hard earned money or time on them. thanks Walmart for your upstanding customer service(Not)

I called the service department and asks to make an appointment to get a new battery and I was told nope we don’t do appointments for that just come tomorrow after noon and we will get you in. Well guess what here I am I was turned away because I need an appointment. And there are no more appointments today. I explained to the gentleman that we were in dire need of this battery he said well I was trying to be nice by telling you to just come. How I ask you us that nice when I show up you turn me away.

Got a new battery installed pretty quickly but when we got in car the manager said the battery light will go off after driving for a bit, well it never did so brought it to another shop and they diagnosed alternator was the problem which is a simple test Wal-Mart should have acknowledged!

The older obese blond woman is a rude hag who drives away business with her snotty better-than-you attitude. Just attempted to get tires because the one they sold me last year is not leaking. She told me about a 4 hour wait. I said ok. She continued to tell me repeatedly it's a 4-5 hour wait. I repeated "that's fine, I can't go anywhere until it's replaced because the one I bought last year is flat." Again she tells me it's a 4-5 hour wait, and then prattles on about this big long line she's been dealing with since she got there. I offered to go elsewhere, and she claimed I didn't have to but it's a 4-5 hour wait. I will be driving home on a flat tire. Thanks Walmart...

My son and I went to the Superior WI tire center on Black Friday. The woman at the counter repeatedly told my son it would be 3 hours before they could even start on his car and install new tires or they may not get to it at all. He needed tires so he said he would wait. Another gentleman came to the counter for a battery install. She proceeded to tell him the same thing but he too needed the battery that day. It felt as though she did not want our business. The funny thing is both my son and the man needing the battery were in and out in 2 hours.

Not all the employees are bad but most are. The waits are always long for any automotive service, be prepared to wait an hour for an oil change then another 30-60mins for the job to be done. I called to ask for an appointment so I could avoid waiting and the employee answered the phone " it's all first come first serve". Then hangs up. 2 star service = 2 star review

Went in to swap out a tire off the rim, with roadside hazzard on the tire; I had paperwork and they approved. I'd imagine a quick swap for one in stock. Nope. 2.5hr wait to "check thread count" and tire before I could get the tire. I didn't need it on a new rim. Nothing. Straight up swap out. Rather, I just walked out. No idea why such a easy task would take so long.

Brought car in to repair flat almost new tires but was told the people that sold me these tires did not use bead seal. Nice job (unnamed). Walmart staff told us it would be about 1/2 hour .. we got paged and out the door we go!. Friendly and helpful staff. Don't recall ever having a bad experience.

I was told that their appointments we're backed up til a month away so I walked in to get a tire patched which they told me would take 15 minutes to do itself but they wouldn't get to it for about 30-45 minites. I ended up waiting two and half hours for them to patch a bead leak on my tire. The next day my tire was completely flat. Cost me $10.55, and 2.5 hours. Not worth it.

Absolute trash customer service. Went in to see about having 3 of my tires changed to match the tire due to a flat I had replaced at another Auto Center earlier that day. Was told they couldn't get to it because they only had 2 techs on staff, no other explanation or asking if I would like to schedule an appointment, he just stared at me like I was inconveniencing him.the next day I scheduled an appointment, which canceled on me 3 hours before. I've been without a safely drivable vehicle for 5 days. Would not recommend to anybody.

Had an appointment to put tires on, bought online setup the appointment online, showed up 45min early to drop off the car. Glad I did because it took half an hour for the 2 customers ahead of me to make it through the "line" Gave my keys to the technician who went outside to get mileage etc. I said, "its the (color, make, model)" the tech spent 5 minutes wandering from car to car so i walked out and showed him which car, to which the tech said "how am I sposed to know what a (make, model) looks like". for a car technician that was a huge red flag for me. While I was in line, I observed the other staff some of those interactions were: Customer like me came in to pick up tires for which he had an email and text message saying they had arrived and were ready to pickup, the tech helping him looked for about 7 minutes and told the customer "i cant find them they must not be here" not "let me check the inventory and see if they came in" another red flag for lack of organization. that tech went back again and "looked" and the customer who was fairly upset now because he had been told via 2 methods his tires were here was turned away for the day. When I picked up my vehicle there was another customer who had dropped off his vehicle for an oil change and tire install, was told "yep all set we'll let you know when its done" When the customer returned, it turned out they didn't have the tires and they just did the oil change and told him he had to come back a different day to have the tires installed. I gave 2 stars because my tires were installed and an oil change done, the balance was good, and the oil topped to the correct level. The biggest problem was that for every employee I ran into and for the other customers I observed, none of them seemed competent at the tasks they were doing, the organization was such that staff didn't know where inventory was located or on hand, and didn't care in the slightest that they had paying customers in front of them. Even worse it felt to every customer I observed and myself as a customer, that the staff felt we were a total burden to them instead of them being happy we were there giving them our business. If I hadn't already paid for the tires online I would have walked out the door immediately and found my tires elsewhere.

Bought new tires and had them put on. The service was fast. In and out in under an hour. I have bought the Douglas tires for years now. Awesome tires at a great price. Very good all season tires. Never had a problem getting around on snow or ice in the winter.

One of few places that will put on a used tire. But, be rest assured unless you were up at 8-9 and go very late, they probably are booked for today at last from last time. But, the real trick to getting an emergency tire put on a rim is to simply bring in the tire when you first get there. That way if the tech has a break in between appointments. Then simply get your tire and put It back on your vehicle. A bit of a pain for all 4, but for best results it's night and day difference. I generally go check out the auto section and finish by walking over to clearance shelves just in case something I don't need is cheaper. Maybe buy one thing but generally don't. By this time my tire is usually done and I head out to put on. During my alignment issues, I got to try all sorts of scenarios out. Especially because time of year. Everyone getting snow tires on and I'm just praying to get one on so I could work and get kids to school and hoping those metal spots can hold out just another day until I can find someone with an appt. Open. Sadly I end up in this situation pretty much every year or two. But never like this past year 1000 miles on brand new tires. Never.asked.if any alignment check could go a ways. But?

I've never had a good experience coming to this location, either they take hours to do an oil change or they randomly cancel an appointment. Most recently I ordered tires and had an appointment to get them installed without notifying me the tires were canceled returned and then I had to call to figure out why and even get a refund on one of the tires that I had ordered. I won't be returning to this location ever

Had 2 tires replaced. They got me in right at my scheduled time and I just walked around the store for about 35 minutes and it was done. Workers were helpful. Noice. That's about it, ya know?

Update: On 8/18/24 got the tires on my Ridgeline changed here. Was VERY happy with the service, suggestions, and advice I received on the phone prior to coming into the shop. Got 4 Dextero DHT2 tires for only $468 and the Road Hazard Warranty for free due to being a WalMart+ member. Was VERY happy with the price and value of the tires. Was about 1/2 what I was expecting to pay elsewhere. On the negative side, the guy working the front counter - Service Writer/Greeter Kenneth K according to the receipt - seemed to have a major attitude problem. He seemed to be disgruntled and it was busy and in his defense was maybe overworked and overwhelmed, so I was extra polite to him. After dropping off my vehicle and selecting my tires, I did some shopping while waiting for the service to be completed. An announcement was made over the PA to come back to the Auto Center as the service on my vehicle was completed. When I came back to the service counter, the guy working the counter (Kenneth K according to the receipt) paged through the pile of receipts on the counter and once he found mine he SLAMMED his phone down on top of them. Then when I went out to my car there was a big brown streak across my new seat covers (picture attached.) I’m upgrading this review from 1 to 4 stars, but am docking a star due to the terrible customer service and mess left in my vehicle. Old review from 12/14/20: Was here at 3:48 PM on 12/14/20 to get an oil change. Was told they couldn’t do it, you have to come in the morning. They close at 6 PM. Absolutely ridiculous.

They were unwilling to help me with my tire repair in spite of arriving 3 hours before the closing time. The staff was rude and unhelpful and completely unsympathetic. "Come back tomorrow" when I'm 700 miles from home. Tires Plus down the road on the other hand came through for me without any hassles.

James and his team at Walmart Auto Care Center were outstanding. Even though their schedule was fully booked, they went above and beyond to fit me in and address my tire issue. Their professionalism, efficiency, and willingness to help truly stood out. I greatly appreciate their excellent service and highly recommend them to anyone in need of auto care.

Horrible customer service, and horrible technicians. Got For new tires, Ended up having to bring back for three separate appointments for leaky, stems and unbalanced tires. Finally, after the third time with leaky stems, we asked for our money back and they gave us the tires for free. Went to another shop to get the stems fixed and balanced tires, and a had to sand the rusty rims Because Walmart did not do it once even after they said they did. But we’re happy we got four free tires and now they are finally balanced and not leaking because we went somewhere else who are Professional
