I took my care in for an oil change and was out of there in no time. They were extremely fast and courteous and the gentleman behind the counter was very nice and pleasant to deal with.

I've brought my car here a few times for minor stuff (oil changes, etc.). Service not that bad but it's hit or miss if they call me when they're done. Almost caused me to be late somewhere else a couple times.

They rolled down my window while getting oil change. They could not get it back up. $60 to get window up. Manager Bob said he would not help and that they roll down the window so they dont get locked out. Where the heck is the sihn that says they roll down windows?

I normally do my own oil changes. Since we have 3 cars, i buy oil and the filters all at one time, i normally keep a couple filters and 12 qts of oil on hand for each car....i mark the oil filters with the name of the vehicle so i dont mix them up... It was extremely cold in January so i brought our cars here for an oil change instead of doing it myself. They did my oil change on 1/17/18...its been 3200 miles since that oil change and its warm now so i decided to change my oil. I got under the car and MY oil filter is still on there with my writing on it ..AND WalMart marks the drain plugs with a blue paint marker..there is no marker on my drain plug. They did not change my oil....but i got charged for it.

Check in guys are super nice. Mgr on the phone was a little short. Purchased 4 new tires and they charged me per tire to reset the tmps on my car. They didn't put a weight on one of the tires and my tpms was saying to service that same tire, so called and they said to bring it in and they would fix it.. They put the weight on and said all the sensors checked out normal but put in the notes to take it to dealership to reset the tmps.. they charged me already to reset this, not to mention it worked fine before they touched it.. 2 days wasted there and still not fixed.. super pissed.

Been to a lot of Walmart auto centers in Kansas City, this Wanamaker location is by far the most accommodating and responsive on all levels! Dylan is absolutely phenomenal and made the entire experience!

I was at Walmart on Wanamaker today and forgot to turn off my headlights. Car wouldn't start. So I went to the Auto Dept and asked if they could help me and jump my car. A young man by the name of Dylan Walpole took his lunch break to come and help me. First he had to push my Ford Explorer (1996) up hill to get me out in the drive area so he could pull his car up and give me a jump. Car wouldn't start. Dylan informed me that I needed a new battery. He walked back to the Auto Shop with me and my granddaughter. Found a battery for me. Took it to the counter for me . Then walked basically from one end of the store to the other to where my car was. He carried it the whole way. And being the Angel that he is... installed the new battery for me. Also let me know I could take my old battery back for a core refund($13.10). He has only worked there for a week. He is an amazing young man and Walmart you need to hang on to him. He's a Great asset to your company . Thank You Dylan for being my saving Grace today! I am forever grateful! Toni Streff

Dropped off a trailer tire for replacement. It was done in bout an hour. Went to pick it up about 530 and the Auto Center was closed. Had to walk around to front door but luckily there was someone still in the shop to get my tire. Asked why they're not open till 7 and he said not enough employees. I was just glad I could pick up my wheel!

Over filled oil and told me it was ok to over fill by couple quarts? They had one vehicle for 3 hours. I called after I had paid and left and the manager asked me to come back... She drained off (who knows how much) maybe a few cups full and said it was good to go ??? It still read a little high and the oil smelt like salvents. I dont feel safe driving far now and have paid to have it changed again after only 180 mi. It was the blackest I have ever seen come out of any vehicle???? I am still fearing what residual damage maybe caused? I have now had to pay 140$++ for 2 oil changes and feel unsafe in my car! So wrong!

They were not willing to help me in any capacity. I came during their opening hours and their doors were completely locked. When entering through the main entrance and walking over I found two employees sitting around doing nothing. When I asked about leaving my car for an oil change they gave me attitude and quick dismissal and were incredibly rude. Won’t be going back here and will be making it clear to friends this place is not trustworthy or willing to work with you.

Had a bad tire happen on our trip and needed tires immediately to be safe on I-70. It was closing time for the tire department, but they stayed open for us and replaced four tires and balanced them. The only problem is they were not balanced correctly and vibrated, and we had to have them rebalanced at Marshall, Missouri Walmart after we arrived there which cured the problem. Also had to settle for Goodyear because they don't keep Michelins in stock, and we couldn't wait 2 days for them to be delivered as we were traveling and we bought the only option in our tire size. We really do appreciate the auto team for taking care of us even though it was their closing time.

Went in today for two things. Get a flat tire fixed and to find out why another tire was consistently leaking air making me have to fill it every week. For the flat tire, they told me it was a nail so they patched it. For the other tire they said it seemed so it must be a bad rim but that they don’t do that there so take it to a dealership. When I asked why the tire pressure light was still on (I had to go back inside to ask), they said it needs to be driven a little and then the light will go off. Mind you, that has NEVER been the case for my car and I would know because I’ve been airing up that one tire every week for the last couple of months, it ALWAYS shuts off immediately), but I trusted him (should’ve listened to my gut) and I left. Then I went straight to the Hyundai dealer on the blvd to look at the supposed “bad rim” and as soon as I parked in their bay and got out, the tire Walmart had just said they patched was already going flat. It’s a 10 minute drive. When the Hyundai techs came back, they said that they did see where Walmart had patched something, but there was ANOTHER nail in that same tire. HOW DID THEY NOT CATCH THAT AT WALMART? So Hyundai patched it for me. As for the tire that loses air regularly, they said there is nothing wrong with the rim, it just had residue on it that kept the tire from completely compressing onto it which caused it to slowly leak. And they fixed that too. Took 20 minutes (whereas Walmart made me wait over an hour for half a patch job and no accurate information). So going forward, if I don’t hear a reply to this I will be calling and I want back the $50 I had to spend at the dealership to fix YOUR techs mistakes. It is disgraceful and irresponsible to miss something like that and then tell me that my rim was the problem. And by the way, the last ppl to put those tires on that left the residue? WALMART. God forbid I had just gone straight to work instead of the dealership and had a blow out on the highway and caused even worse damage to the car or even myself. The lack of care they had today was abhorrent. I am beyond upset. I will never return for auto care.

Sherry and Jaden seemed to do a great job, at least as far as I'm aware. I was in and out, and the lady at the front rang up a couple grocery items for me as well. Friendly and helpful service. The folks in the deli area were the same way.

My son brought his vehicle in to buy a new tire and have it put on. One week later, it started wobbling really bad so he pulled over and saw that the tire was almost completely off and there were only 2 lug nuts left on it! And one was completely smashed. I don’t know what in the world they did/didn’t do, but he had to pay another tire shop $50 to fix it. This could’ve turned out really, really bad for him. It can’t be that hard to tighten up lug nuts good enough that they actually stay on.

Was told I needed a new tire because there was a screw in the sidewall ... I saw the screw ahead of time and it was TWO INCHES from the sidewall!!! They were trying to sell me a new tire! I told them to put my tire back on... I'm am adding a photo where you can clearly see that it is not in the sidewall!

Thanks for nothing! Was left stranded with a slashed tire in front of their shop and this lady was leaving at 6, had other 2 techs that supposedly were waiting for 2 scheduled customers. I got there at 5.38 and they were closing at 7 and they refused service even with an empty shop. Terrible customer service! My husband had to replace the tire with the spare in front of a lazy tire shop.

Drive miles with spare tire from home to there for replacing 4 new tires. One tire no wheel lug nut and he said can’t replace new tire. Saddest day ever.
