Was told there was zero oil in my car (Impossible since I just had an oil change 3 months ago that I myself did & zero leaks ever, my car is only 5 years old) I was told I was incorrect for telling them it was impossible considering the circumstances cause the cashier has been there for 11 years and knows her job as if she’s ever actually done anything within the shop service wise herself. She then proceeded to repeat herself when I asked if they put me down for synthetic oil. Never coming here again. Only reason I did was for the free tire rotations. There’s plenty more shops I’d rather pay with service way better.

Brought my car in for a SIMPLE OIL CHANGE. The lazy mechanic NEVER hooked my coolant line back onto the frame so it banged against the frame till it caused a leak and now no one will answer me . Absolutely insane and a travesty by a poor and inconsistent staff

I waited 45 minutes in a 3 person line (several people could've been helped with simple things all at once). When I did get up to the counter, I gave the specs of my tires to be changed. The guy printed off the quote and left saying he had to put away batteries. In the middle of my transaction! I already knew what I wanted. I had to wait another 5 mins for him to return. Then, told me 15 minutes after waiting for them to change out my tires that it would be a two hour wait... Had they told me that, I wouldn't have stayed. Two hours later they asked me for my keys to bring it into the bay!! Are you kidding me?! Horribly ran auto center.

Came in for an oil change. There wasn’t a line. Was told that it would be 45 minutes. I’ve been here for 1 hour and 15 minutes now. And my car is said to have another 45 minute wait. One of the people in the shop was telling the person working the desk to send someone home or shut down the shop entirely. I was told one of the two people in the shop is not certified to be working in there. “They don’t know why he is here” said the guy working the desk. As I’m watching through the window there is a lot of standing around and they are not professional at all. I do not recommend doing service here. This is the worst oil change experience I’ve ever had.

Went for tire installation, employees broke two lug nuts then said pointed out one saying it was already like that then advised us to go to elsewhere to fix it because they didn’t have proper equipment. We went the night before for 6pm appointment and employee said he didn’t feel like staying late. Horrible experience, don’t recommend.

Service was fine but supremely slow. I came to get a battery replaced and one windshield wiper installed. The place wasn't that busy when I arrived but I waited for 2 hours for something I could have done myself in 20 minutes. While I was there I overhead them say they had run out of high mileage oil for their oil changes. Sounds to me like the place just isn't that well organized. 3 stars in spite of all that because the prices and value are great, the attendant was polite and helpful, and they told me over the phone that service can be slow on Saturdays, so the wait wasn't a complete surprise.

I'd give this 0 stars if I could. I went here to change out to winter tires that were already on rims. Made it as easy as possible for them to do a quick balance and change out. IT TOOK THEM 2 HOURS!!! I learned how to do this in Highschool and it only took me 45 minutes tops. Absolutely ridiculous. I was told that they couldn't balance my tires right for some reason and I had them do the best they could so I could take them somewhere else to be properly done. Then they charged me full price. I asked for a discount because I'd have to go pay someone else to do them properly and they wasted 2 hours of my morning, made me late, and the job still wasn't done. The reply was, "they are actually balanced, just in a different way." Then once the wheels were on they asked me what PSI I wanted them at, I am not an expert, they should be. I have 0 confidence these were done right as balancing a tire is not rocket science. Long story short, did not get a discount... Biggest wast of time and money, and I am livid, DO NOT COME HERE!

I usually go to any Walmart around the Utah state, I came to do oil, battery, tires at West Jordan location, years ago and I came back as someone who works at customer service, this place really need attention on customer service, train your people. I had to wait almost 30 minutes just to hear go to your vehicle.

Made an appointment a week in advance and ordered tires from the website to be shipped to the store. Arrived for my appointment and was told by the single tech working that despite having an appointment being scheduled and despite tires being onsite that their installers "went home". Incredulous, I asked, "does this happen often?" and I was told yes, and was candidly told by the same tech that he'd have to cancel the three appointments behind me. Shocked, I spoke to the store manager on duty and she was able to get the installers to return to work. After an hour of thinking I was finally getting tires installed I was approached by the tech who told me that now they couldn't get my vehicle on their hoist. (After an hour!). I asked why they needed to use a hoist at all ? Why couldn't they just use a floor jack and stands? I was advised that "the floor jack is broken" which I found to be an absolutely incredible statement to make in a store that sells floor jacks... I decided to cut my losses. I cancelled the tire order and left. Ended up getting tires installed a week later at a different location. What a joke! I will not return to this location

I was pleasantly surprised by the service. I usually do my own oil changes but the cold sucks so I tried Walmart instead. Went in kind mid day about 9:30am on a Friday. No other people in line. Didn't upsell me as I know what my car takes and oil type. Was done in about 25 minutes. After I verified the new filter and oil color so overall pretty good. Maybe I got lucky but the older gentleman seems to know what he's doing

I walked in and bought 4 new tires. They stated the best way to get an install is set an appointment. I did, which the earliest time was 2.5 weeks later. The appointment started at 8am. I was at the location at 7:45am. Checked in and sat down. After a full hour I asked when it will be done and they stated they wouldn’t be able to start on it till 10am and completed around 11am. I asked why did they make me do an appointment when they were going to make me wait 3 to 3.5 hours in the store anyways. He answered very unprofessionally and stated it’s just how it is. “There are appointments before you” That makes zero sense. Why make an appointment, push out the tires I need desperately for almost 3 weeks, have me wake up extremely early on my day off just to get to the appointment in time, than have me sit there for half of my day for no reason! Don’t make appointments if they are not really a thing Walmart. Waste of a day, terrible customer care, terrible systems… after my last two experiences I am officially done with Walmart. They don’t value customers they only support the masses. See picture. This KID was threatening, and was constantly trying to pick a physical fight with me after I told him to stop dropping my rims on the ground. This resulted in scratches and damaged property not to mention him constantly trying to push into a physical altercation. I am completely appalled! I asked to speak to a manager and the person behind the desk said there is nothing they can do! Don’t let this kid touch your property Everyone shop at a place that values their client experience, Doesn’t verbally abuse you, and doesn’t damage your property! Walmart will never get a penny more from me 👊🏻

I don't know why they advertise vacuuming your carpet when you get an oil change when they don't actually do that. They put non-applicable for so many of the things they were supposed to check. Including my fluid levels. No wonder they have the oil change done in 10 minutes. They barely did anything. I wonder if they even actually changed my oil

It’s very clear when someone understands customer service and when someone is simply working for a paycheck. When we arrived, Joshua helped my boyfriend, who already had an appointment. He told him they didn’t have the oil his car needed and sent him to another Walmart. However, my boyfriend went inside the store and found the oil himself. That already made the experience frustrating. Later, during my appointment, he told me they didn’t have the oil filter my car needed. I understand that items can be out of stock, but if appointments are required, basic questions should be asked beforehand to confirm parts availability. Otherwise, it wastes customers’ time. His attitude was dismissive and unprofessional. Everyone can have a bad day, but when you work in customer service, professionalism still matters. Fortunately, ODEN stepped in and completely changed the experience. Even without all the parts available, he was professional, helpful, and focused on finding solutions. He is amazing! The difference between the two approaches was obvious.
