Went to Walmart to get tires put on my car. They do first come, first serve and open at 7 so I arrived at 6:20. First in line. Ordered my tires online so I knew they were available. I was the first checked in and they located my tires. Car was in the air a few minutes after 7. It took two and a half hours from that point to get my car back. I have never seen such slow mechanics in my life. The gentleman doing my tires was very nice but incredibly slow. Next time I will bite the bullet and pay more for true professionals to handle my tires, even if I have to pay more. I really thought Walmart would be fast given the circumstances of me literally being the first customer on the roster for the day. If you go to Callaway Walmart tire center and they tell you they're 3-4 hours behind, it's not because they're busy.... It's because they're lazy.

Automotive is a money saving place. Prices are clearly posted , no appointments necessary. You can shop while waiting on your car spending even more money. They have removed the television from the waiting room so you can hear all the loud talking rap players. People who have refused to be immunized cough around you shearing oral bugs. Weeks later ....see you at Sams

On two separate occasions we have had oil changes here on two different Volkswagens. BOTH times they put in the WRONG oil. Also, they failed to secure the skid plates on BOTH vehicles causing one of them to fall off while driving down the road. Never gain. Pay a little more and go somewhere else. Usually one of the 10 minute places are a bit higher but they will tell you if you are missing skid plate bolts and they will inform you that it has been correctly placed back on the car. They also do not put the WRONG oil in the car. 5W-20 is NOT the same as 0W-40 and I always asked for 0W-40 when getting a change. Luckily we have moved out of Bay County so never again.

First time customer for auto service. Had no clue what was going on or what to expect. No signage or anything to make you aware of the auto service process. I saw a couple of cars in a line like fashion but it looked odd so I drove around and pulled up to the bay to have my oil changed. Long story short, I was never acknowledged, or asked any questions. I had to get out of my vehicle to ask a worker what the process was. Not really organized to say the least. The price was reasonable but the logistics is cringe.

Needed to replace my battery in my pickup truck. I did price comparison with multiple businesses, and Walmart was the best price. Their auto shop installed it free of charge and within 30 minutes. Technicians were friendly and professional.

Greg and the guys were awesome ! I accidentally came last minute for an oil change and the guys took care of me and didn’t give attitude at all. That’s what you call great customer service and service all in one man. Those guys deserve to be able to get tipped or they need a raise or something. They are phenomenal honestly.

I'm a gig economy driver I drive all over the country I've driven eight cars in the last 7 years The last two oil changes I took to Walmart because I couldn't really afford anything else cuz it's been that slow both times I've had the check oil light come on before the end of the oil change and in this case it was halfway through and they're refusing to do anything about it They're trying to tell me oh your car is just using too much oil I have a 2020 CX-5 Grand touring 93,000 mi on it

If you are curious if they have the tire that you need, don't wait until you need it because they will not know. I was going on a trip and needed tires, so I called ahead to see if they had tires that would work for my vehicle period they told me they did and they gave me a quote period I was there 10 minutes later and suddenly they didn't have the tire. So yeah, just about wish I could go somewhere else but now I have to take a lower-quality tire or I won't be getting one today. Thanks guys, great customer service.

GO here if YOU WANT TO LEAVE WITH MORE ISSUES than you started. Our honda was perfectly fine until I took it here to get an oil change & 2 tires put on. First off I had to order the tires, wait a week for them to come in, then they canceled the appointment of the installation of them 2x (and the tires had arrived). The installation took 2 hours for 2 tires. Our car was fine & had no issues, but 30 minutes after the service all of a sudden our car is flashing issues with the battery & power steering & we come to find out that we need a new alternator. ($300 part). Im 99% positive that they did something to mess up the car because we told them we couldn’t have them cancel on us a 2nd time because my husbands was going on a trip today to Orlando seaworld. Halfway there the car breaks down in the middle of no where. Left him stuck. Never again. It ruined the whole trip.

Ordered tires on line they shipped to store. Didn't show up first day wouldn't let me drop off wheels so when they show up they could put new tires on. Against there rules. We'll not eveyone can just show up when they ate ready. Had my boss take them next day. Per phone call to Walmart service center. Told him they can't take them till tires show up. My last time ordering there I'd rater pay what little I saved on sale for better customer service. Not to mention 3 trips there.

I made an appointment for an 11am oil change about a week ago. Al was the associate taking the appointment. $24.88 for the pit crew was the price he quoted; I'd be supplying my own oil and filter. I arrived at 10:40 and they couldn't find my appointment. Al was not there, just part-time, coming in at 4pm. The price he quoted was not honored. The price is $30. They got the truck in at 11:15. It wasn't done until 12:15. Everyone was doing a slow-walk. The person working on my truck disappeared into the pit under the truck for 20 minutes, I imagined taking a nap. Obviously paid by the hour. I observed the process from outside of the lined-off area. I like to watch work being done on my truck. That annoyed them. They closed the doors so I couldn't see. The service advisor said that I made them nervous watching them work (or waste time). I never got the feeling that they are competent for anything more than an oil change that takes an hour. Hopefully everything got tightened up well but I'm nervously watching for oil leaks. I'll go somewhere else next time.

I was informed by a technician working the tent outdoors that they wouldn’t install a used set of tires that I’d purchased. The technician at the Callaway store said they wouldn’t install them because they were used tires . The date on the tires is 1122 285/70/17 so the tires were less than 3 years old. The tires have no plugs or patches and have more than 50% tread . The tires are in excellent condition not dry rotted, cracked or anything. I had a used set of tires in the same condition installed at a different store in the area a month ago right before thanksgiving. I have had used tires installed at this store prior to this and informed the technician of this and his response was they weren’t doing it. Guess Walmart doesn’t need my money I’ll use someone else from here out .

If I could do 0 stars I would. This place sucks, I went for a tire patch at 9am and they told me it would be an hour wait and nothing more and that I was next in line. They didn’t get to my car until 1pm. So basically stuck at Walmart for 4 hours for a simple Tire patch. So sick about that and conveniently the manager wasn’t there to correct the issue

New tires yesterday. Sensor went off " check tire pressure " took car back today to be told my car has no tire sensor. So why is it telling me check pressure? Oh it could be a nail or reset didnt take. After explaining I've been through this before, pressure was checked and tires over filled. The car has sensors on tire pressure. Hispanic man was very rude and checked nothing. Man that checked me in took me to check pressure and found problem. I'll pay more for tires next time. Well trained service tech is worth the money. Never again !

Pros Cheap, affordable, good for appt for tires and batteries and I can’t speak on anything else. That’s why I give it two stars. Cons My biggest con is you can’t make an appt to get your tires balanced and rotated. Which means your car isn’t a priority. I showed up when they opened and they said it would take 45 minutes and it has been 3 hours and they still haven’t got my car in because appt come first but I couldn’t make an appt to get them balanced or rotated so I’m just stuck here. I talked to the manager and he said we’re busy and that had appt and told me that they were open from 7-7 (in my opinion implying I should come). I’m a Walmart plus member not saying I deserve any special treatment but if you buy tires from them you get a free balance and rotation from them. What is the point of that if you’re going to have my car all day and I can’t make an appt to get them rotated and balanced? Just make it make sense or learn how to balance doing rotations and balance tires with oil changes and tires.
