I had a horrible experience. I had a appointment for my tires to be put on. I also got a oil change. My oil change took twice as long as it took to get my tires put on which is ridiculous. I watched 3 ppl come after me and they all got serviced and left before me. The last 2 came after my tires were already on so from the looks of it my oil change was put on hold to service the other customers which is not right. Every time I have came to Walmart they have always went in order. My wait ended up being so long that my phone died. I was very displeased.

My bad experience is mostly due to the fact there is not any signage saying you need to wait in your vehicle for an associate to come help you. I saw two associates actively under hoods of cars and they didn’t acknowledge me so I assumed I needed to go inside to get help, which is not uncommon when an auto shop is busy. As I start walking up one man started yelling “uh-uh! Uh-uh!” At me and then asked “you just going to leave your car there?” amongst other things. It was rude honestly and very unprofessional, all he had to do was simply let me know to wait in my car and someone will come to help. But he didn’t do that. Instead he talks to me as if I was clearly supposed to know their rules when this was my first time ever going to a Walmart auto care center. It almost turned into an argument had I not decided to walk away and take my business elsewhere. Please train your employees how to properly address people instead of talking to them like children.

Augusteen is the best Service Manager and deserves a great deal of credit for customer trust at Garland Walmart @ I-30. I had 2 tires replaced and was able to verify inventory did not have what I wanted for Douglas, but was provided an option for Goodyear Viva. Tires are well priced and service is premiere. For future I may order my tires online and have them shipped to my local Walmart for installation. So many improvements in the store, but it all comes down to service in the end. April 2023: Great Service Staff!

I had a horrible experience. I came 45 min before opening time on my way home from work to be the first customer in line when they opened. After the attendant wrote up my order for just a tire rotation a manager comes out directs him to cancel the order in front of me. He never once looked at me to apologize or explain. He directs all his conversation to the attendant as if I wasn't even there. He just says to cancel the order and I have to come back at 9am. I found it disrespectful and absolutely horrible customer service with no regard for my time. I will never use this auto center even though its close to my residence. Walmart needs to retrain this staff on handling their customers. I'm so upset I don't even want to give a star.

Over 2 hours and still not working on replacing my tires. What is the point of having two tire replacement bays if they aren't used? What is the point in having 10 employees working when 1 is is doing oil, 1 is working tires and the other 8 are just walking around doing nothing. Manager is useless, cares more about getting chain on the front area than getting cars completed. Go to any other tire shop or oil change spot for quicker and better service.

Unfortunately I had a tire issue this morning, so we proceeded to the nearest Auto Care Center. We definitely weren’t greeted with care, just total rudeness. I parked my car at the tire center and proceeded to gather my belongings to put on my husbands car (parked a little away), and got yelled at more than once for “leaving my car unattended”. I proceeded to TRY and let the techs know the issue and that I wanted a tire replacement, but got cut off by Richard saying that he couldn’t patch my tire. I never asked for a tire patch…just got cut off before I could tell him. We proceeded to speak to the lady at the service desk, and she said she would be talking to their team lead about it. Just don’t recommend this place. Very rude, unprofessional and just pure lazy. Richard was yelling at us before even saying hello. Nice way to treat customers. 0/5 if I could! :(

NEVER AGAIN!!! 😡 WALMART AUTOCARE CENTER 😡😡😡 They refused to do an oil change because they had not enough technicians on site at 6pm despite THEIR CLOSING TIME SUPPOSED TO BE AT 7PM!!! 😡 They recommended me to go to the “really close by” Walmart Autocare Center in Mesquite, which I did, and they were CLOSED!!! 45 MINUTES BEFORE THEIR STATED 7PM CLOSING TIME!!! 😡😡😡 NEVER AGAIN!!! 😡

I usually try to look at the big overall picture before commenting on anything, but once again, Walmart has become the least favorite place to go. My experience in the auto center has always been ok except for this particular Saturday. I arrived a few minutes after opening at 7 am. and was the first car in the line for services. I waited patiently as I saw 4/5 technicians walking around....no one ever approached me to inquire about services or anything. So then another car arrived in the lane next to me also for service. The technician then walks inside as if to get services, you need to now come inside. So I go into the cash register where the auto cashier then says no, it has to be done with the technician, but the technician finally comes back out and goes to the car that arrived after me. At this point, I'm still ok. Whatever I have things to do, no need for the oversight to ruin my day. Well finally at least an hour in I am finally being approached by the technician for information I thought....instead this gentleman proceeded to tell me how hot it was, how much coffee he needed, and hopefully his break would be soon. Still just gave my info so I could get my oil changed and be done. Skip ahead to get back after shopping they didn't complete my oil change due to my brakes needing to be changed. Seriously left with no words only wasted time. Went to Take 5 paid a little more & was done & half the time spent wasted at Walmart.

I’ve had great experiences here in the past the first two times the staff were helpful and accommodating, even with a broken lug nut on my car. They had it noted in the system and still rotated and balanced my tires without issue. This last visit, though, they refused to service my car because of that same broken lug nut, even though nothing had changed and they’ve handled it before. No explanation of a policy change, no offer to help resolve it just a flat refusal. It’s disappointing when a shop is inconsistent, especially when you’ve been a returning customer. If something’s changed, communication would’ve gone a long way

Place is a rip-off and full of con artists. Set an appointment they told me it would be about 30 mins. Told them all I want is oil change with pennzoil full syn and fill washer fluid. Specified multiple times, that is all I want no af check, not bat test, just oil and washer fluid. I come out 20 mins later to a guy testing my battery. I told them again dont do any of that. I just want oil. An hour and a half later, im getting called out there, and they tell me magically my af is missing. I informed them I replaced the filter the morning before I came here 3 weeks ago for a battery to be installed and they removed it when they installed the battery at that time of corse their like o well we can sell you one. As the guys talking to me I see someone walk up and drop off some ghetto brand knock off oil in front of my car. I told them I paid for pennzoil so why are they putting trash in my car. Almost 2 hrs later they are finally done with my 30 min oil change. Don't fall for the hustle here people. These people are crooks!!!!!

It took from the start of working on my car 1 hour and 45 minutes to change a battery. The guy had to call the Supeevisor over because he was having so much trouble. Never have I seen this happen changing out my car battery. Nope never again. And to top it off he got in my car with his greasy fingers and put the grease on my sun visor. I keep my car immaculate. I’m so angry at this place

I highly advise against servicing your car at this location. My experience was absolutely dreadful. The servicing representative, Geovauni N., displayed a shocking level of carelessness. Instead of properly reattaching the protective cover underneath my vehicle with screws, he lazily used a zip strap. This negligence led to the cover becoming loose during my drive back home to Canada, putting my safety at risk. It's unacceptable that such sloppy work is tolerated at this establishment. I am immensely dissatisfied with the service I received and will never return.

This place is terrible. Came in for a simple battery warranty that they offer end up spending almost an hour stuck there only to find out they don’t even have a replacement in stock. Neverlast battery’s are horrible. There is a reason they are so cheap. Then we get sent to another Walmart in rowlett only to have to spend another hour plus’s because the first Walmart couldn’t provide us with the paperwork from the test they did. Useless and incompetent. Stay clear of these people don’t let them work on your car.
