I found this place on google and decided to go with them because of their good reviews. I dropped off a motor for them to rebuild and was told they’d call me the following Tuesday to let me know if the motor was worth getting rebuilt. Tuesday came and went and for the next 2 months I was unable to get the owner on the phone or get a call back. Finally I decided to just pick up my motor and take it elsewhere. When I showed up they could care less. No explanation and no apology. Spent 30 mins strapping the motor down without anyone so much as offering to help. Totally disappointed. I thought I found a good reliable place to work on all my classics! Not the case.

My brother's car completely shut off on Friday July 4th and smelt like it was burning. A guy named Ernesto pulled off the side of the road to check on us, and he recommended Walter & Sons. We were concerned some mechanics might take advantage of us seeing that we had to tow the car to them, and having no idea what was wrong with it. Walter was honest and fair. Charged $150 and said it was just a faulty cable that eventually blows on the type of car we had. I tipped $100 for the level of honesty, service and treatment we received. 1) they answered their phones on July 4th while many shops were closed. 2) Luis and Walter were both very kind and provided great customer service. 3) Originally, they said they could not get to the car till Monday but once we followed the tow truck there, Walter said he'd call us tomorrow (Saturday). I was expecting a call to tell us how much it would cost after they did an assessment, but Luis called and said the car was ready early on Saturday (about 9am). Walter & Sons will always be a top consideration for us for any car work we may need in the future. They have earned my trust. Thank you Walter and Luis. 🙏

On a trip to Orlando, car’s transmission fluid started leaking immediately after a faulty repair in Atlanta. Walter and his son saved me. I planned to just have the fluid reservoir filled and get it back to the original repair shop in Atlanta to fix it properly but the leak was too severe as Walter showed me the issue, and he understood my situation and fixed my trans oil cooler leak immediately and properly, basically he was a Godsend and a really good guy who saved my $25k transmission on my Porsche 911. Fixed quickly, priced fairly, great business!
