Every time we have ever brought a vehicle for inspection, the woman fails vehicle. Will state reasons that we have already fixed prior to going for inspection, and fail anyway. Always have to go back to mechanic and get a printed record of work completed on vehicle. My daughter just went a short time ago, and she failed her stating that she didn’t like the look of the reflection of her plates, they were too old and she needed new ones. My husband’s truck is older than my daughter’s car, we just had it inspected elsewhere, and no mention of needing new plates. Now I have to go yet again to the mechanic to prove work was done on her car that the woman inspector rejected the car on. Time to file a complaint with the RMV.

Attatude from new inspector. Been going here for last 3 years with same vehicle that has one tire with more wear on the outside shoulder and over 3/8 inch tread life still. And passed for last 3 years. Now new inspector says its a fail and gives me huge attitude when i saying i'm taking my business elsewhere.

Had a one o'clock appointment to get my front end alignment done. I received a call from an extremely rude person asking me how to bypass the E Break. When I told him I never had to do it and I did not know how to do it he told me again very rudely will then I can't help you. I looked it up on YouTube saw how to do it got a ride to the facility and asked if I could show him on my phone how to release the E brake and was told he didn't have time It wasn't even 2 o'clock at that point and when I originally scheduled the appointment they told me it would take approximately one hour to perform the alignment. He didnt have the time to help me but he had enough time to lose me as a customer forever. I used their facility for gas and inspection stickers, i will be taking my business elsewhere.

My normal go to shop for the quick in and out car needs.. I bring my car in for repair and was told simply put that the fuel pump needed replacing and I would be good to go.. Employed them to fix the issue picked the vehicle up and within two hours the car stalls - issue not fixed.. Walk in next day and was told that they could not look at it until the end of the week - Highly unprofessional considered I paid them to make my car NOT STALL and the job was not complete

Decided to bring my car to this place for an inspection since it was close to home. Lady doing inspection failed me and said that my BMW with stock exhaust was too loud. I agree it is a sport car and does sound more aggressive than a Honda Civic but I have never had this issue before at other inspection stations. I tried to explain to her that this is a BMW stock exhaust but she was rude and said “my decision is final”. Needless to say, I went back to the inspection place that I normally go to and passed with no issues. I should have checked reviews before going. Seems like other customers have experienced problems with this lady’s inspection. Go elsewhere for your car inspections!

Gary does good work and charges a fair price. My oldest went to him for a brake job and alignment on their 2014 Jetta Sportswagen. Gary replaced rotors and pads on the rear axle after confirming that the fronts were still in good order. Thank you.

State inspections are fast, but when getting repairs done I was given three sets of defective parts (replaced under warranty) before I lost trust. I still continue to get inspected through them, they're open on weekends and after work on weekdays. You can't beat that!

If you’re looking for a daycare type situation for your vehicle, where you simply drop it off and pay for nothing to be done to it, come here. Brought my car in to have a light replaced on the back and to have a diagnostics test done. When I went to pick up my car, I was told that the man Steve who worked on my car wasn’t there anymore cause he left for the day so they weren’t exactly sure what work he did on my car. I didn’t even receive so much as a call to explain what was going on or what he was fixing or what I’d be paying for. First red flag of unprofessionalism. Upon receiving my car and using it the next day I was told that the same exact light on the back of my car was still out even after I paid for it to be replaced. I called them up and was told that the mechanic replaced a different bulb on the back.... so apparently he replaced a light that was working and left the broken one in there. That’s smart. I had to bring my car back in and pay for additional labor to get the light replaced when it should’ve been replaced the first time. As for the diagnostics test which I paid $70 for, my check engine light came back on within less than a month. Bunch of incompetent, lazy and careless employees running this place. Don’t go here.

Always great service there. They remind me of service stations when I was young. My family and I have brought our cars there for various things over the years and have always been treated fairly. I brought my car up there the other day because I couldn' t get a screw out of the license plate and the guy took time to try and help me and then sawed it off for me and gave me a new screw. He didn' t want to charge me but I gave him $10. It's little things like that that matter.

Possibly one of the worst places you could take your car. I used to go there for everything but over the last 6-8 years they have gone firmly downhill. They’ve messed up my tire installs, alignments & even oil changes!! I finally had enough and found a new place. They clearly have no interest in maintaining any standard of customer service or satisfaction. They used to have quick courteous and helpful employees who have now been replaced by rude less than helpful ones. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place.

Trustworthy mechanic that won’t take advantage of you! Was told no another mechanic that my brakes needed to be replaced immediately. Went to Welkers and they inspected them and said I have 20-25 thousand more miles until they need to be replaced. They easily could have taken advantage of me and replaced them when it was not necessary to do so. They have earned all of my future business!

Getting your yearly inspection can be annoying, but these guys make it pretty easy on you. You can also get gas and snacks here, so that's a plus. A line can form since this is a convenient location, but it shouldn't take long and once it's your turn there is a waiting area for you to hang out in.

Went here for my state inspection. The man doing the inspection was very friendly and courteous. He obviously takes pride in his work. I waited inside the small store/cashier area where there was a few chairs. It only took about 15-20 minutes once my car went in. I recommend this for your inspection.
