They are the biggest rip off artists I've ever met. Tell me i need to have my transmission rebuildt for 1,700 to 2,400 dollars. Went to a real place and they told me it was my silanoid. Just like my computer was saying. They only charged me 550. If you go there get a second opinion. I would never recommend this place.

I am currently in Afghanista. My daughter bouught her car and took it to another shop in Feb and got inspected in May. She Registered and the Transmission went out, I looked up on Google and being a Mechanic in the Army for 20yrs Ret and Contracting now. I liked the Reviews. From the 1st Phone Call Craig and Mike have been there through thiis process. Even found things that were wrong and should've been taken care of and noticed by the other shop. Few hick ups here and there and they were straight forward. Helping out in every which way they could. Even Test Driving it around making sure everything was ok. I am very Satisfied with the service and appreciate all their help. I told my Daughter from now on when there are major problems or something is wrong stick with WMT. THanks

Great experience. They noticed that my steering was loose and could cause an accident. I told them that I had the part to fix that problem and that it was either on the passenger side floor or seat. They installed the part and the steering is now nice and tight.

I had some very bad bearings on both my driver and passenger front tires that resulted in a rather loud drive. Along with a faulty tire sensor; they not only fixed my vehicle issues, but also informed me of my tire lug nuts that have swollen up. These guys are very professional, friendly and straightforward. The results are literally night and day- granted I knew my vehicle was loud but after I got it back and drove it...it was so quiet. It left me speechless XD Thank you West Michigan Transmissions!

I had no idea a clutch could feel so good. Hats off to Mike for running a reputable business, and hats off to Craig for being professional over the phone and answering my incessant questions. Trying to leave an honest review, so four stars, because it took longer than I expected. Good things are worth waiting for, I guess. There was an unexpected hiccup, which they told me about. I feel like that’s worth mentioning. Will continue to go here.

Craig at West Mi Transmission is truly what you look for in auto repair. He’s honest, strait forward, and looks out for the customer. I’m always hesitant with auto shops I’m not familiar. I was in a pinch and used west mi transmission based on the reviews here, and it was the best decision I made. There’s no frills, and they don’t try to up sell or replace something that isn’t needed. They are truly operated like a honest old repair shop from the past. Those are not easy to come by anymore. Craig and west MI transmission is one of the few remaining ones. I highly recommend, to anyone unsure.

I run vehicles to very high mileages and these guys have consistently performed well to give the cars high mileage. 5 cars together totaled 1.6 million miles! They do a wide range of vehicle repairs. They ran into some bad parts being sent for this rebuild but sent them back & made sure all was good before calling us to tell us she was good to go! It was well worth the wait. I had lost all confidence in my 2017 F150 over a two month period. There were so many issues going on with it, and I thought for sure I was going to be left stranded and broken down. To begin, the truck would take so long to start after turning the key. Sometimes I would just leave my truck running because I thought it wouldn’t start if I turned it off. To make matters worse, there was a terrible transmission issue that felt like the bottom of the truck was going to fall out. I honestly was ready to scrap the truck entirely. I got in touch with West Michigan Transmissions because I trust them with ANY and ALL issues related to my vehicles. That trust is hard to come by these days! I was so nervous to get their call after they diagnosed the issues- fearing major engine problems and a major bill at the end. They got back to me in no time flat. Their parking lot was totally full when I dropped the truck off. I thought it’d be weeks… They diagnosed the issuesand got me back on the road in just a few days. And to make matters even better, my bill was unbelievably reasonable! That’s why I’ve gone to them for years now. I’ve been driving my truck around for about a week now. It’s driving and performing beautifully. All issues resolved. Hard to believe. I can’t thank West Michigan Transmissions enough. Restoring my confidence in the truck is priceless, and it’s an enormous relief.
