The rep was very helpful but I felt taken advantage of by the shop and did not feel the work was done properly especially for the large amount of money spent. A second opinion confirmed my beliefs.

One star for the fact That they advertised a truck for $70k online and when i get to the table to sign, there was a $27k mark up on it. Im not about to pay $97k for a f350 LT trim. Gtfoh

This place makes AV Ford look like a used car dealership. They have free popcorn, vending machines that actually works, free ice cold water and tons of TV's and wifi that works. And the service people do their best to accommodate you.

No one called me back after having put the wrong oil in my truck until a month later. I went and changed my oil have a thousand mile because my truck needed the heavy duty oil. Not what I expected from Westway Ford in lrving tx.

Horrible experience. Would not recommend. Went to this shop to get a little air in my tire and ended up leaving with a flat tire. It wasnt flat or anything wrong with it when i came. It was drivable but when i was leaving it had no air at all. I couldnt drive off the lot. They ended up putting on my donut and said it was "free" ! They let all the air out my tire and tried to make it like they didnt. And betore they put the donut on they were trying to send me to another shop with a flat tire because they let all the air out my tire. I ended up going to another shop that put my tire back on and put air and said nothing was wrong with it. DO NOT go to that shop. You will be waiting hrs and vehicles could possibly get damaged !

I've been waiting 3 hours for an oil change and state inspection. For some reason they did the 30,000 mile service for a second time which includes a decarbon service. This is not something I asked for, as the vehicle has 35,000 miles and decarb is not part of the maintenance schedule at 35k. Well apparently that decarb service I didnt ask for will throw an error code and prevents you from doing a state inspection until the vehicle has been driven for a while. So here I sit, furious, and unsure of where my vehicle is... for god knows how much longer... I just want to leave and I am stranded. The service manager only wants to argue with me instead of offering any real solutions to this problem saying "well I can just refund you and you can get your state inspection done elsewhere". Turns out they charged me for all the extra service I didnt want and my $40 oil change + $26 state inspection has turned into a $400+ argument over "dude where's my car?" Update: it's been a week, i noticed a rumbling sound. Turns out they didn't put the air filter box back together, so that was the rattling noise I was hearing. Also, I don't have an air filter anymore.

Staff was polite and got me in quickly for my appointment time. However once in, they attempted to tell me that the Synthetic oil blend they had previously been putting in my car was not acceptable and I needed full synthetic which was a cost difference of $89 instead of the regular price of $35. (Previous services I had been paying $55-$60 for oil change and you're rotation) They changed the story three different times about why the difference. 1. Then it was a combination of the previous two about how the full synthetic is most beneficial due to the size of the tube or whatever the oil has to pass thru 2. It only takes full blend per VIN which means they had been putting in wrong oil. 3. Then it was they got a New manager and I was previously billed wrong So I asked for my car back and did not get serviced there. I left feeling extremely frustrated and feeling like I was being forced into a higher cost service. I will NOT be returning.

They held onto my van for over 40 days without answering their phones or giving me an update. Every time I spoke with someone I was told the mechanic was on vacation. How much vacation time are these mechanics given? Had to go into the office multiple times in person to get any answers. They never figured out how to fix my vehicle. AVOID if you care about your vehicle. If CBC News is thinking of doing a hidden camera segment on mechanics that take advantage of you, this would be the dealership.

Many negative experiences with our recent visit. Scheduled an appointment to have some recalls fixed and a couple other things done while it was there. Initially told it’ll take about an hour for the work, but it may be towards the end of the day for it to be completed (currently around 2pm). Called back around 6pm to check on the status, and was told it’d be the next day for it to be completed. Called back the next morning, the guy went to check on the status and put me on hold; sat on hold for 20 minutes, finally hung up and called back only to get transferred to someone else and got an update that it’ll be 6pm that day (also was told on the phone they didn’t factor in one of the service items in the cost so it’d be $25 more than the original estimate). Received another call about 3pm asking if I was still planning to bring my truck in…I had scheduled an online appointment, but they didn’t have record of me showing up for it even though I did and they had the truck. Tried calling them back from the number provided in the voicemail, but it rang for a minute without anyone picking up, so I gave up. Showed up at 6pm the second day, truck still not ready, was told another 30 minutes. Waited the 30 minutes, still have not had the work done. After another 30 minutes, they had finished the recalls, but not the other items, so I just had them pull the truck around and will be taking my business elsewhere for the remainder of the work. Overall it seems the service department has no idea what is going on, do not meet promised delivery times, and do not communicate updates when there are changes to the schedule. They also did not seem proactive until I was onsite waiting for the vehicle forcing them to make some progress on the work. On top of all the delays, difficulty getting an update over the phone, and incorrect price quote, they had the audacity to provide my information to the sales department, who called only about 5 hours after I dropped my truck off for service to try to sell me a new truck because mine was “already three years old”. Obviously if I’m bringing it in for service (including getting an inspection) I plan to keep it and not buy a new truck. We looked at other google reviews and noticed the owner’s response was to call Lauren Martinez in the customer relations department. Tried calling, but went to voicemail and left a message. Have not received a call back yet.

Used the Quick Lane. Brought in a dually. Asked for a tire rotate, oil change, and fuel filters. They rotated the front left to right like they were supposed too but when it came to the rear they only rotated to outside tires. When asked about it the lube guy wanted to argue that he wanted to leave the best tires on the front and wouldn't even acknowledge the fact that he did not rotate the inside rear tires. So I asked. I'm paying for a 6 tire rotate but your only going to rotate 4. Lube guy kept complaining but he did finally rotate the inside tires. Then proceeded to rub oil down my left side step and drag the rest of the service out. I would recommend using any other Ford quick lane over this one. If they cut corners on a tire rotate who knows what else they cut corners on. Not a picky guy. Just want what I paid for. If they are only going to perform half of the job. Then I should only have to pay for half of the job.

We took our F250 in for all new front breaks in March. Paid over $1,000 for the driver side calipers not to be tightened and a bolt came out. Since this was a terrifying experience, we had it moved to the closest auto shop to take a look. We paid another $1,000 for them to tell us that Westway Ford’s Service Dept didn’t tighten the calipers and it almost caused complete break failure. We went back to Westway Ford’s Service department just wanting to be made whole and get the last $1000 reimbursed to us. We brought the notes from not only the shop we took it to, but the warranty company who said they wouldn’t cover it because it was considered an “incomplete job” by Westway Ford. We spoke to the service drive manager on duty on Saturday, April 22nd who was very kind and understanding and said we would be made while. He asked us to give them 3 days and took copies to show his superiors and accounting. Today the Service Manager told us that since it’s been a month, we have traveled 10,000 miles on them, and I’ve didn’t bring it to them to fix, they would not be giving us the money back. Horrible service. Could have killed is due to their negligence. STAY AWAY!!!

Came in last month, and was so grateful for the assistance Christian Martinez took care of my Flex. I had a few concerns on my battery, brakes, yearly inspection, and my regular oil change. He was able to assess all my concerns and gave me the peace of mind of knowing my car was all good. Any other place or other rep probably would had me purchasing all new brakes and a battery. An expense that I saved. As for time, I dropped off that morning and the shuttle with Salvador to and from work was an added bonus. Definitely will come back, finally glad to have a service rep here that looks out for his customers.

I will say, I'm very up and down about the service here. I purchased my vehicle here in 2018. Brand new 2019 Ford Escape. I've come several times for oil changes, wheel alignment, and more. The phone etiquette is terrible. It sounds like someone is picking up and hanging up, transferring back and forth, before you actually get a person on the phone. They tell you at the dealership to CALL and schedule an appointment and then you're on hold for 10 mins. I will give a shout-out to Jaden, in the service department, who has helped us twice now with my alignment, parts ordering, and verbally instructing us to schedule a servicing. My alignment took 7 hours to complete. Seems my appointment made, wasn't honored, and was pushed to the back of the line. I come to Westway Ford, in Irving, because they have normally been very good with friendliness and service instead of Five Star Ford here in North Richland Hills. But I'm wavering on where to service my vehicle now. Thanks Jaden for all your help in the Service Department!

5 1/2 hours to change engine oil, transmission fluid and rotate tires is ridiculous for a quick lube. If I would have known it was going to take this long I would have found a different dealership to do the work or scheduled for a different day. The only reason the I am them two stars is the guy that helped me up front was nice evern though everything he told me was wrong i know he was just letting me know what he was told. The biggest aggravation was since it took them so long to work on the vehicle they shut down for lunch while I was stuck in the waiting room. This is a service they do everyday you should be able to give your customers an accurate time to complete the work not just tell them itwill be another 45 minutes. Every other quicksand I have been to is able to why can't this one?

Dealing with them back in 2020 I had a pretty good experience getting my first car. Then recently trading in that vehicle for a truck I was feeling fantastic. Had my 2017 f150 for only 2 months and already has some issues with it. The worse was my front brakes were rubbing like metal on metal. Took it in and apparently all 4 brakes and rotors were bad. There is no way I ran them that hard traveling just around the DFW. Had my previous car for 4 yrs and never replaced them. I was the first vehicle in yesterday morning and I stayed til 430pm. They charged me $1290 for it all( even with the extended warranty). When I asked for status on the job throughout the day, i was given the run a round. Sat there cause I had no ride and no loaner car to use. I had an appt at 330pm and had to almost beg for a ride which they called a Lyft driver. At the end they smiled and said my truck is cleaned and ready but left my floor inside the truck dirty. Was a horrible experience and I and can only smh on how shocked I was.

I keep trying them because they are close by and I have a hybrid Ford but each time the customer service and communication get worse. This week they might have made me the angriest I've ever been. If you want absolutely no communication at any point from the people fixing your car (except when it's time to pay, of course) and then to be made to wait over a week after it's been fixed to hear from them, by all means, go with Westway Ford. Oh, and hopefully you'll enjoy being endlessly harassed by service reminder emails and buyback offers that you can't ever seem to permanently opt out of, because you'll be getting those forever too!

Waited an hour to have a battery installed? Should have done it myself in 5 mins. Took them 40 mins just to fill out the paperwork and put it in the system. Seriously? Then this is the view while we wait. 3 mechanics just sitting around. With 7 people total doing nothing. Not a single car is being worked on by anyone. Poor poor service. The only one that seemed to be helpful was Andrew. Both Greg and James seem to have their heads put their you know what. The mechanics on top of doing nothing are too busy laughing, joking, and chatting. They clearly don't care about their jobs or working. This is the worst I've ever seen. The 3 year warranty doesn't even seem worth this bs. The pictures I uploaded are of the 3 mechanic sitting around not working and of one mechanic on his cell phone screwing around.

Clean, professional and quick are the three words that come to mind when describing Westway Ford Quick Lane. Carina did an amazing job getting me in quickly and making sure my car was getting the correct services. She went above and beyond anything I could have expected. I hope her boss recognizes her hard work. I would recommend anyone to come get their car serviced here
