If too busy for new customers, have the courtesy to at least call back and just say so. Only takes a minute to return a call.

My car was parked at a stay, park and fly hotel near the Portland Airport for 3 days. When I returned it was covered in sap. I took it to a detail company who quoted me $300 plus and said they couldn’t guarantee the paint wouldn’t be damaged. I called around to a few others that did not sound confident, but said bring it in by appointment only. Well the sap had already been on the car for 3 days. My last call was to Willamette Auto Detail. The customer service on the phone was awesome! I was told to bring it on over. When I got there they were extremely busy, but Ken took the time to look at my car. Instead of telling me to come back, he went into the shop, got a rag with hot water and rubbed some of the sap off without ruining the paint with chemicals. I not only left happy knowing I could go home and do it myself and save $300 plus, I felt great knowing there are still hard working people out there willing to reach out with great customer service and help! I will definitely return to Willamette for detailing and will recommend them to others. Thanks tons Ken!!

There is not enough to be said about Willamette Auto Detail. My brother had taken his truck to another detail shop locally in Salem and received the worst service both as a customer and how the so called "detail" was done. He happened to read reviews and visit Willamette Auto Detail called me and said he would take his truck here after not only the customer service he received but also the quality of work he saw from the vehicles that were there. I immediately told him I would take my Honda Civic there to be detailed. It has been quite a while since my car had been detail I mean the engine was just dirty, interior was good but exterior needed some love. Dropped off my car in the morning at 7:30am met Ken did a walk through of services to be performed and he said it would be done by 5:30pm and he would also call me when it was completed. Needless to say we showed up and my brothers truck was wow and my Honda I had to keep running my hand through it, the engine looked like a brand new one had been put in, the interior smelled so great and looked so clean I mean the vents were brand new, the carpet and seats. I was particular so I looked at the doors and door jambs, the gas tank area and all of it looked all new there was no area missed. Ken thank you for your attention to detail and your guys cant say enough. You have earned my business I live in Portland and I don't care this is where I will bring my car and many more. Phil and his team at Willamette Auto Detail are phenomenal. Their performance/quality is great. We paid our bill, picked up our car, and then after the fact found out we had a mishap with our insurance. The next day, Phil called me to check on our satisfaction with their work. I told him the work was great. When I told him about the insurance issue, he volunteered to refund some of the money we had paid. We were blown away. He definitely did not have to do that. I recently brought my father’s dodge Ram truck in for a complete detail as a surprise Father’s Day gift. I dropped it off on Tuesday, July 8th at closing time and picked it up on Wednesday, July 9th, also at closing. The gentleman I spoke with—who I believe is either the owner or manager—was incredibly kind and helpful. At first glance, I was very happy with the results. The truck was in rough shape, and I knew I was going to pay a higher cost to bring it back to life. I paid $445, and several parts of the job were done exceptionally well. The exterior paint, despite some wear and peeling due to age, was brought back to a nice shine, and the center console looks fantastic. The before-and-after comparison shows clear improvements, and those efforts are genuinely appreciated. However, I was disappointed with some aspects of the service that I feel didn’t reflect the level of detail promised under a “complete detail.” Once I got home and had more time to thoroughly inspect the vehicle, I noticed several areas that were overlooked: • The area around the seatbelts was not cleaned at all (see attached photo). • The interior of the doors had noticeable grime that wiped off easily with a simple cloth. • The wheels were not cleaned, and the engine compartment was not steam cleaned as outlined in the service description (photos attached). • There is also a broken section on the steering wheel that was not present before the service (see photo). I understand this is a 16-year-old work truck, and not everything can be made perfect—but many of the missed areas seem like they were skipped rather than too worn to improve. The most disappointing part for me is the lack of attention to detail, especially given the price I paid. I would have happily waited longer for the job to be more thoroughly completed. That said, I am including before-and-after pictures to acknowledge the areas that were done very well. There was clear effort put into the work overall, and I do appreciate that. I just expected a more comprehensive result given the cost and the service level described.
