Since no one has written a review on this man and his team's work I'll be more then happy to be the first! One to begin with I'd love to say how courteous and professional the owner is! Dallas truly is a mechanic guru when it comes to transmissions and just mechanic work in general. Details on the truck he worked on was my 2006 1500 Crew-Cab Sierra Denali AWD Motor: 6.0 LQ9 Transmission: 4l65E (Heavy duty Transmission) What we went ahead and did was a full rebuild on my transmission. We went ahead and put a new case, brand new gear package, put a Trans-Go shift kit (Which I purchased and he evened it out with some other work he did which I'll put in parentheses), Heaven Duty Transmission Cooler by Hayden, Changed 2 of my worn out U-Joints on my front Drive shafts (My truck has 2 drive shafts since it's All Wheel Drive which this is the parts that he evened out for me purchasing my own shift kit), bushing kit, changed solenoids, on top of that I got a full one year warranty and 1 year from the date that he turned in the truck to me a free service check up! I handed over the keys to him on July 25, 2016 and by July 29, 2016 I had the truck back with me! He gets after his work and stands behind it that much I can guarantee and he didn't ignore any of my phone calls and answered all my questions that I would ask the whole time! I truly walked out of that shop more then just as a customer but as a friend! I highly recommend this man to anyone! And just if anyone cares lol he sure doesn't charge people stupidly like some transmission shops here in Amarillo for the same quality work that's for sure!

I made a phone call to see their availability and prices, they were really respectful and promised great effort. I took my transmission down there since I had already had it removed before hand. He said they would call me 2-3 days after that day. I never did receive a phone call so I called them back only to hear that he had yet to check my transmission. I gave him another week to complete the task of checking my transmission. He never did return my call like he said he would so I once again had to call him. He told me what was wrong with it and seemed very knowledgeable on what he was talking about. I decided to allow him to continue his work since I was very impressed with the conversations. I entrusted he would have it complete two weeks after that phone call, THREE months later I had to pick up my transmission because he "couldn't get around to it" or " hasn't had the right pieces" or "waiting on the right pieces" or (my personal favorite) "took too much time off (4 days). I know I shouldn't have but I did. So anyways, I haven't finished it." I tried calling him multiple times and he would ignore my calls. When they would answer, the guy I was looking for was busy, EVERY TIME. I would leave several voicemails throughout the week and I would never get a call back. throughout that three month period I had to remind him what year, make and model my transmission belonged to because he couldn't quite remember. I am super disappointed that he couldn't finish it. I refuse to mention the name of the worker. I am rating this a 2 because he gave me my transmission back without any troubles except for immature gestures, and he was overall very nice over the phone, so thats a plus.

Paid him close to 4 thousand dollars to completely overhaul my transmission. I haven't been able to drive it even 100 miles before it stops working correctly. Slips in and out of gears and reverse only sometimes works. He has attempted to fix it 3 times and its worse now than when it was when I first took it to him. He won't give my money back so I can have a reputable company fix it correctly ,so I'm going to have to seek remedy in court..... Update , took him to court. Won the judgment. He promptly paid me. Sad it had to go that far.

Great Team: diagnosed my 2004 Dodge Ram on the spot and moved quickly to repair and get my vehicle back on the road by the following day noon time. These guys knew I had several hundred miles to travel - needing to get home on the other end of Gulf Coast Texas in a timely manner - Williams Transmission made that happen! When you find yourself far away from home with transmission issues - as in my case - a great team of mechanics is what we hope to find (...) That is Williams Transmission.

Williams Transmissions is a business FOR THE PEOPLE! 10000/10. Very kind, respectful, professional, generous people. We were stranded in the middle of nowhere and they fixed us up no questions asked immediately. Water pump issue. Instead of having to postpone our travels by waiting for a spot, they took a look at our car right when we got there and repaired it within an hour or two. They knew we were traveling and did it quick so we wouldn't be stuck. They took it on a test drive and made sure everything was good. If I lived in Amarillo I'd always come here for repairs! Very trustworthy and kind.

Rebuilt my transmission right for an honest price, fixed my shifter, was transparent about my wiring and other issues they found, gave me updates when I asked, fixed my leaks, took the time to diagnose and medicate the wire issue until I could get the parts. This company took me, an 80 year old man, back to the days of focused mechanic craftsmanship and integrity. Mr. Williams and his crew provided both needed repairs on my wife's van and my old Tahoe. I witnessed their attention to detail, their clarifying explanations regarding the needed work in addition to their promptness and reasonable pricing for the repairs. Well all I can say is will never take my car back there!! I had taken my 2010 Mazda there and I had explained the issue, but it never kept getting resolved. I had taken my car there at least 4 to 5 times,with no end result.. the main owner had told me that he would work with me,but that never happened either. So my car never even came close to getting a fixed.. so please don't take you're car there

I had taken my car to another shop because I started hearing a noise on the right front of my car and they told me it was my transmission and they didn't work on transmissions, so I started looking up transmission shops and this shop had high ratings so I take my car in and we took it on a drive and the guy told me right away it was a bad wheel bearing not my transmission, got it back to the shop and they replaced the wheel bearing, took it for another drive and noise was gone! problem fixed! the guy was up front with me about the cost and everything before they replaced the wheel bearing, I was out of there in a little over an hour and all the guys in the shop were very nice and polite and had good manners even brought me a chair to sit in. I would give this place more then 5 stars if I could, they not only work on transmissions but they do other car repairs and things, I would definitely recommend this place, and I am going back to have my oil changed and a transmission flush soon.

I have been meaning to leave a review on my experience with this transmission shop for some time now. My brother and I were traveling across country moving from CA to KY with all our belongings in a cargo/camper trailer 2023 thx giving, when the transmission in my 2005 F250 6.0 died. William was amazing and got us in fast and back on the road in a couple days and we were able to make it home for thx giving. Even gave us a rides back and forth to the RV park where we were staying while they rebuild the transmission. They did good work, I have put about 12k miles on it since and it's still going strong. William and his guys were friendly and went out of their way to help in my moment of crisis. I would recommend this shop to anyone needing transmission repairs.

I’m from out of state and broke down and had to have my vehicle repaired in Amarillo. Had them move my vehicle from another shop in AMA to their shop. Caused pretty bad body damage to my vehicle and refused to take accountability said they “didn’t notice” the caved in and crinkled lift gate on the truck they had for over 2 weeks and said they would “investigate.” Gave them over a week to send me the video of it arriving and to call me about their findings in the so called “investigation”. I reached out to see what their plan was and to retrieve the actual video to me and not pictures of a blurry and pixelated computer screen. They’re now refusing to send the video of the day they towed my vehicle into their shop and told me they’ll see me in court instead of sending their own proof that it arrived that way from the other shop. Tried to point fingers at another shop who actually had video evidence of my truck being picked up by Williams transmission without damage. They were great to work with otherwise during the repair. However, the body damage is going to cost more than I even paid them. Sad.

Outstanding team, friendly service. Dallas and his team are knowledgeable and professional. They focus on making a accurate diagnosis and performing quality repairs. On a recent cross country trip in our RV, Dallas, Dean and the Williams team went above and beyond to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair a significant issue with the RVs transmission. These guys did my Mom dirty. She takes her Bronco Sport in they want 2k up front. Hey that’s understandable and she gets the money. They give her a date on when it’s done. She calls and asks when she can get her car and they say “Oh, it’s gonna be a while”. She says “That’s not what you told me.” They said “come get it and we will give your money back.” She asks “this is how you do business?” They said “yep, we can pick who we do work with.” I’m Dallas the owner, come get your car. “. Took my 2019 Kia Soul to a different shop for transmission and clutch issues. I received a quote for $8600!!!! I promptly dragged my car to Williams Transmission (after being charged $149 diagnostic fee by the other guys). They replaced the transmission and clutch and had the fly wheel resurfaced. I paid less than 1/3 what the other guys wanted!!! Highly recommended for honest, professional and reasonably priced service!!!
