Great service, great staff. Don't like paying $400 more than I was quoted multiple times. I understand you find things that you can't see at the start, but all I asked for both times was a phone call to let me know if it's getting too expensive... Nothing either time.

Have trusted all of my vehicles to Jerry and his staff for many years. They do not try to tack on unnecessary or questionable services. Feel as if I can really trust the opinion of the staff.

Traveling home to MD and had an issue with our car. Chose this shop based on reviews. Problem was identified and fixed quickly. Cost was extremely fair!!! We appreciate it so much because there's nothing worse than car troubles far from home. Thank you!

After looking at the reviews I came to the decision to give Woods Automotive a visit to get my car looked at. However I was sorely disappointed in the experience.... My problems were as i described to the person who "helped" me: My break light was working off and on, the car was sounding kind of rough while running, and had been giving a check engine alert. I describe all of this and ask how long it will take roughly. Now, I understand it can be hard to get a handle on a time estimate in an auto repair shop that is reasonable however the best answer he had the capacity to give me was " I have no idea. I will just have to give you a call before we close." Imagine having so little information to go on when you leave your car which you depend on daily to get to work etc and that is the best answer you get is "I have no idea could be days." So i reluctantly leave my car with them even though they couldn't give me any kind of time estimate at all on how long it could take. 2 hours later or so they give me a call and fundamentally say the only service they can provide is replace my battery. He said the battery would run me $240... I told him I was in a spot and i can't really afford a battery that expensive at the moment. (I ended up buying a battery at Walmart for $100 btw). When i told him i wasn't interested in buying the shop's battery he informed me he was going to "Have to charge me $40 for labor." JUST TO CHECK THE BATTERY..... I told him i thought this was unreasonable and he did me a 'huge' favor and knocked it down to $30.66 instead with $3.00 dollars for "Shop Parts". - ?? Furthermore, he proceeded to accost me over not buying HIS battery, saying that he isn't making any money from me. (The entire experience was rife with unprofessionalism.) I would be very understanding if there was a sign or a notice that said: "There will be a $15 service charge for diagnostics." Or something like that however that was NOT the case, again.... $40..... I make $14 an hour... that's over hours of wages for me gone...for nothing, to me it feels like theft. So here I am finding myself not in the best financial situation and i have the misfortune to be preyed apon by Wood's Automotive. I hope this review helps my fellow blue collar members of the community make an educated decision on where they put their money. They made me pay dearly for my ignorance on what kind of business they are running, but they will never get another penny from me and I would STRONGLY recommend against spending your hard earned money in this establishment. Unless you want to spend an egregious amount of money just for a simple diagnostic which you could go and get *FOR FREE* at: Walmart, AutoZone, advanced auto, O'Reillys the list goes on and on....

I had my engine light on and the code was P0128, they gave a quick diagnosis and fixed the thermostat quickly within 3 hours, called me to pick up the car. The engine light went off now and the car back to normal. Thanks. Good work and reasonable price

My finances car was taken to him and when she called he said the car was ready but had a miss in it. Now she has to take her car somewhere else to fix his mistake. Very bad service and the price to fix her was outrageous. I changed my rating and hope everything works out. Thank you again

Woods service center is the best of the best. I’ve been using them for the last 9 years. Jerry is a class act- he’s always helped me with the best price and never tried to take advantage of me. He’s patched countless tires I’ve hit with curbs and always does repairs honestly. 10/10 recommend!

If I could post a lower review I most absolutely would. Ever since new management/ownership, I’ve noticed that I’ll take one of my cars in and the problem gets “fixed” only for a new problem to occur just as soon as I get the car back. I could post 6 separate occasions that this has happened and they always take zero responsibility. They even ruined a car of mine only to buy it after telling me it’s now useless. One time is a coincidence…every time…there’s a problem. I will no longer take a single car or even a bicycle for them to “fix” it. STAY AWAY FROM WOODS!!!!

Very helpful and professional guys. They had to trace down a lot of my electrical wiring problems to diagnose and find the issue. The job was very tough but they got it done and I am very happy with the service as well as the price.

Took my vehicle there to have my horn replaced, I purchased the part already. It was $60 to replace it, in my OPINION I thought that was a little much considering it wasn't in the wheel weld like I thought. The people there are great tho and very friendly.
