We visited Woodhouse Cadillac on May 12th with a preapproval letter in hand, ready to purchase a vehicle. Our salesperson was Jordan Faust. Unfortunately, our experience took a troubling turn. Despite having financing already arranged, Elaine Campbell, the General Manager, ran my husband’s credit through a different lender—without his authorization. When we confronted her about it, she gave us several conflicting explanations. I requested a written statement acknowledging the unauthorized credit inquiry. She said she could provide one, but then added that if she did, we would no longer be allowed to purchase the vehicle—even with our preapproval. This response was both unreasonable and concerning. To make matters worse, it’s now been two weeks, and they still have not corrected the credit report. We expected a far more professional and ethical experience, and we are extremely disappointed in how this situation has been handled.

I worked with Jordan to purchase my Cadillac Optiq Sport 2 - and the entire experience was amazing. She helped me evaluate options across several different Cadillac models including a certified used XT4, 2025 XT4, and the 2025 Optiq. She was knowledgable and the service was above and beyond! Not only did she make the purchasing process easy and straightforward but she even delivered my vehicle for me. 10 out of 10 experience across the board. Update. Pete from Woodhouse management called a and the issue is finally fixed. The driver seat was replaced, so I am changing my rating and updating my review to reflect that Woodhouse management helped correct the issue and Thank you. ************************************************************ We purchased a Certified PreOwned 2021 Escalade from Woodhouse in May 2024. After 3 weeks we noticed the driver leather seat was cracking in some spots. I called to inform them after several days the asked us to bring it in. They glued it and gave the vehicle back to us. After a week of the glue the seat cracks even more and severe. I called and did not get a call back from Casey. I called again 10 days after and finally was asked to bring the vehicle in again. When I took it in I was informed they can not replace the seat because it is wear and tear. I ask the question how can a Certified pre owned vehicle after 3 weeks have the driver's seat crack and be told it is wear and tear. I just want buyers to know what we have gone through and we are taking our business elsewhere for servicing as well as maintenance. It is not right for a certified preowned vehicle to have such cracks on the seat. We feel Woodhouse was dishonest and they will not make things right.

Bev is awesome but the service department is shady and confused misdiagnose. My car telling me I need an alternator, get it back after a month and a half after them telling me they couldn't find a wire from my alternator to my battery which was already fishy pick up my car drive 3 mi and my engine blows. They did not put oil back in my car and blew my engine. I don't have the time, money or resources to get a tummy to fight this but I went from having a paid off car with 70,000 miles. I knew something was wrong when they offered me my money back for what they say. Misdiagnosing my alternator was and then seized up my engine. I hope karma hits this place sooner than later with the way they handled my situation.

Overall - I am satisfied with my purchase. However, there are some points that deduct from my overall score 1st- in purchasing I didn’t enjoy the sales manager who I felt was pushy, it was my first car buying experience and I was feeling uneasy. I get the sales tactic but it still rubbed me the wrong way 2nd- the literal next day I got service lights on the dash for the tire pressure system. Started with all 4 sensors working, within 2 days I was down to only 1 working. 3rd and most annoying to me- this weekend it was the coldest day of the season, and my car wouldn’t start. Turns out my battery was at 18% efficiency and putting out nearly nothing, definitely not enough for it to be that cold. While I fully understand that buying a used car is “as is” - that doesn’t mean it should be okay for these things to pop up when I am spending this kind of money. So 3 stars, not the worst not the best. EDIT- After getting my battery replaced today I was driving and my car is all of a sudden shutting off when I come to a stop. Feels like energy saving feature but it has NEVER done this before and I was not alerted to this feature when buying the car. I do research and the battery needs to be strong enough to do this feature, meaning my battery has always been shit. Seems really shitty to not have that fixed before selling this car to me for thousands on thousands of dollars. 2 stars. EDIT 2- I can’t reply to that comment below but I emailed woodhouse on Feb 2nd and have received NOTHING back.

Scott Carlson is exactly what you want in a salesperson. Communicates well, shares any info as it becomes available, and keeps the sales process frictionless. Granted, I was buying an older used Cadillac, but was treated like I was buying a new vehicle. Great attention to detail, full tank of fuel on the way out the door to head to KC. Buying experience was a "no stress" sale, especially for a buyer from 3 hours away. Great team, Great experience. Would make the drive again.

After weeks of looking for the right lease deal on an Optiq, Jordan in sales made our experience one of the most casual and laid back I've ever had. When the exact car we wanted wasn't immediately available, the manager worked with us on a different car providing a similar deal...even thought it was a full model year newer. The finance department was the best experience in all my car buying years. Our wait to be approved for the lease was super short, and we were finished in the business office is under 15 minutes. No pushy sales tactics to make us buy warranties and add-ons, just a clear explanation of our options and a quick signing of the paperwork. When we took delivery of the car a technical issue and warning message came on, and we decided it was best to not drive the car home. While super disappointing to lease a new car and not bring it home that same day, management clearly made a concerted effort to make the best of the situation. The car was repaired first thing on the next business day and delivered to our driveway free of charge. They even provided us a gift card to our favorite restaurant for the inconvenience of the delayed delivery. Jordan was friendly, professional, well spoken and knowledgeable from start to finish with the leasing process, and I'd definitely recommend her if a new Cadillac is of interest to you. We are thrilled with our Optiq and it exceeds our expectations of what a Cadillac can be. After looking at other European competitors, the Optiq was the better car at a lower price.
