I tell you what, I've been to several auto transmission repair shops throughout the Rio Grande Valley in the last 20+ years and Mr. Young is by far the most honest, hardworking auto transmission repairman at a good price. He'll personally repair your vehicle as if he was repairing his own truck. It's hard to find old-school, honest, hardworking people who'll give you quality service, but he's one of those few. This is by far the best experience I’ve ever had with a mechanic. I’m traveling from out of town and my car died on the side of the highway. Everyone wanted an arm and a leg just to tow me but these people come and loaded the car up and fixed it for me and got me back on the road. They are extremely generous people and I recommend them to anyone.

After being turned away from two shops that said come on in and we will have a look and then deciding they didnt have time to get me back on the road that day I called Youngs Auto (callipers on the rear end were seized up and not releasing properly). Best decision I have made all week... They got my truck in as soon as I showed up in their yard as well as helping unhook the trailer I was pulling. Great service and friendly people. I just wish they had been around when the alternator went 1000 miles later.

Called to inquire about prices for a diesel truck maintenance. Multiple reviews state that the mechanic is excellent with diesel vehicles. The man who answered was short with me, and promptly ended the conversation and hung up while i was trying to ask for other places he may know.. surprised by all these excellent reviews. He apparently DOES NOT work on diesel trucks.. Will take my business elsewhere.

Great Experience!! My 2021 Chevy 2500HD was in limp mode and they knew what the issue was right away. They sent a driver to the dealer in Mcallen to get the part and had me back on the road the same day. Can’t beat that kind of service.
