Complete Life Saver! Huge thanks to Your Mechanic 813! My daughter, a college student, was just days away from heading back out of state when her check engine light came on due to an oxygen sensor issue. Another shop had attempted to fix an exhaust leak but couldn’t complete the job because of rust under her 2016 Mazda (which has over 107k miles). I called Your Mechanic 813 on a Friday morning and was able to get the car to them before noon. They initially said it might be Saturday before they could get to it—but they under-promised and over-delivered. They had the car repaired and ready to go by the end of the same day! Not only did they fix the issue, but they also checked over the rest of the vehicle to make sure there weren’t any other concerns before my daughter hit the road. Their professionalism, speed, and thoroughness gave us real peace of mind. I can't recommend them enough!

I came in to get my headlights replaced after an accident left the driver light broken, and I had ordered the headlights myself a few days before to make things easier. I was quoted $311 for the job. After the initial inspection there was slight hesitation because my frame was off due to the accident and some things were loose under the hood and they were unsure of how to go about fixing it. When I was told my car was ready, they had fixed the frame and straightened everything out on their own volition and the price was as quoted, $311. Excellent service 5 stars, very nice mechanics and I will 100% be coming back.

Update to my review- I needed a new radio in my car. Sergio told me how to purchase the new radio that was compatible with my vehicle then he ordered the wiring kit to install it. I took my car in and they put it in… AND they hooked up my backup camera to boot! It was done in a timely manner at a fair price. This upgraded radio is so cool! I am so happy! So then my husband decided he wanted to fix his radio so we are in the process of doing his. Sergio and his mechanics are great to work with. I’ll never go anywhere else! Old review- Sergio and Tony were very helpful and knowledgeable. They were hard working and followed through on my vehicle. When I drove away I was confident in the work they performed. The price for service was fair. I am a satisfied customer!

⭐ 1-Star Google Review for Your Mechanic 813 (Brandon, FL) Avoid this shop at all costs. My experience with Your Mechanic 813 has been nothing but stress, confusion, and unnecessary expenses. I first dropped off my car in May 2025 and paid $829.15. The car failed again shortly afterward, so I brought it back in August. Months went by, and on September 15, they told me they found the part I needed—but demanded $565.89 upfront before ordering it. I paid it, even though that’s not how any other mechanic operates. One of the biggest issues during this whole ordeal was their complete lack of communication. I rarely ever received updates unless I was the one calling in and asking. There were weeks at a time with no communication whatsoever. For a shop that had my car for months, that is totally unacceptable. Fast forward to December 5: they called to say my car was ready. I told them I couldn't pick it up until Monday, and they said “no problem.” No mention of any storage fee. When I went to pick it up, they charged me $1,676.00. On the way home, my check engine light came on again, and I noticed something even worse on the new invoice: They charged me for the CAS module again, the same part I had already paid for back in September. When I went back, I had to call the shop from inside the shop because no one came to the front. At first, they said they’d have to refund the entire $1,676 and recharge me. When I asked why they didn’t just refund the September payment, I was told it was “too old”—until I insisted they check, and suddenly they were able to find it. If I hadn’t caught it myself, they would have double-billed me for a $565 part. To top it off, they added a $35 storage fee even though they specifically told me picking it up Monday was fine. Why I won’t recommend them: Repeated failures to fix the issue Attempted double-billing on a major part Terrible communication – no updates unless I called, sometimes weeks with silence Surprise fees Vehicle still throwing codes immediately after pickup There are plenty of honest mechanics in Brandon/Tampa. Based on my experience, Your Mechanic 813 is not one of them. Save yourself the frustration—go somewhere else.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – Highly skilled mechanic in the Tampa / Riverview area I’ve brought both my car and my fiancée’s car here multiple times and they continue to deliver quality work every time. They fixed my A/C on my first visit and it’s still running perfectly. On my most recent visit they installed a new turbo, replaced the valve covers, fixed the alignment, and finally cleared a check engine light I’d had for almost two years. The car drive its brand new! I was traveling while the repair was being done, and Mike kept me updated and made the whole process completely stress-free for me. Their work speaks for itself — knowledgeable, efficient, and dependable. This is the go-to shop in the Tampa / Riverview / Brandon area.

Very satisfied with the level of quality and professionalism of the shop and their employees. My wife went in initially obtained a quote for services and they were very fair and honest with her. She was comfortable with the integrity and honestly. I followed up and they negotiated well with the warranty company to bring the prices down 70% and provide a manageable price point. The car was also delivered earlier than expected. Additional props to both Sergio and Mike for providing a high level of care and customer satisfaction.
