Update – We have emailed the listed address twice that the “owner” provided below. We have not heard anything from anyone. Dishonest Business On December 21, my husband and I drove to Ziegler GMC of Kalamazoo to test drive a 2023 Sierra Truck. The salesman Vince said come on down, I’ll have it out front for you. We drove an hour, when we arrived we had to wait 15 – 20 mins because the CFO had it on the road. We took it for the test drive, liked it, talked numbers, Vince took the numbers to the Sales Manager and it did not work out. We said thank you and moved on. On December 26th, at 8:40 am, we emailed Vince with another offer and if it did not work out to please keep an eye out for another vehicle for us. He came back with a price and we accepted. Vince said the finance manager will give you a call shortly, asked when we would like to pick the truck up. We said Friday around 2 (to give enough time to have it cleaned up and ready to go) We went to the bank, called insurance agency and asked if we needed to put money down to hold the truck. His reply was “You do not need to put any money down to hold the vehicle. Our verbal agreement on price holds it for you.” This is at 12:49 pm. We are waiting for the Finance manager to call. At 2:06 we receive an email “The GMC currently has someone looking at it right now, there was an appointment set up that we could not cancel. We overlooked the appointment and didn’t realize someone was going to test drive it. I will shoot you a message with an update on the GMC, if its still available or not.” We replied with “What about out word is our word?” Vince replied with “I apologize the truck apparently was already scheduled for an appointment when I said that. I wasn’t aware of it being shown.” At 4:00 we received an email from Vince that the GMC sold. We have a couple more similar trucks at our other Zeigler locations that you may be interested in Below are the links, let me know what you think! We replied with “Thanks but No thanks. I feel like you agreed to sell me that truck and you did not honor your word. I don’t think I will but anything from Ziegler. And you wonder why people don’t trust car dealers, Have a good day! This sale started out great on Saturday, but unfortunately this business agreement was nothing to trust!

I’ve purchased 2 Honda Odyssey’s here over the last 10 years and currently own 3. This dealer is solid and the sales reps I’ve worked with were pros. Yeah, they want to get the best deal they can, but that’s the car buying business. If you’re not willing to negotiate and push, you deserve to pay more! I don’t generally let anyone service my cars, but I’ve had a few recalls done here (today being the latest). Experience has been solid every time. Their service techs are best in class! The parts department is who I deal with the most and I like working with these guys! They know Honda! Great source of knowledge and parts! Overall, I’ve worked extensively with 3 different Honda dealerships over the years. This one is the best by far! Just remember you’re in a dealership and you’ll be fine!
