The people were nice but im highly allergic to cats. I only seen 1 that seemed friendly but the smell of a dirty litter box didn't sit right either.

My husband was parking to eat breakfast at Corams when he noticed a car with a flat tire. He went inside, and discovered that the car belonged to an elderly gentleman who was a WWII veteran. When he discovered that his spare was also flat, he called 19th St Auto. They sent a tow truck and took his car back to their shop. They gave him a tire, checked all the other tires and fixed his spare, and topped off all fluid levels! When the 92 year old gentleman asked for the bill, he was told that there was no charge and thanks for your service in WWII. We've never seen a business show such respect and generosity. They made our day. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED...

Took my suv there last monday. Was told I'll get it back Thursday and only had to pay 170. By Friday he was not done with my car. And he bought unnecessary parts. I had to pay 680 dollars by the time he was done. Owner was rude and not helpful. I will never take my car there again!!

These people are crooks! My sister brought her car to them and didn't even have it 24 hours and they said it only needed 2 sensors and now $900 later it is blown up! How can they get away with that?!

These folks are awesome. They're honest, their rates are very reasonable, I have a 2000 Toyota minivan and it's seen better days, but they keep it running and do great work.

Daniel always gives great customer service and auto service. I needed work done on my car that could potentially be quite costly. He made every effort to fix my car for the least amount of labor time involved. What could have cost $1000, cost me $400 and the car is running great. Thanks Daniel!

Many years ago... I dropped off my 1987 635csi BMW with the key. I needed some minor body work & engine maintenance done. I explained that I wanted estimates for this work before doing the work. 2 weeks went by then a month, I never heard from them until I received a letter stating they were going to auction my car as abandoned within a few days of receiving this letter. I was visiting family in NY & tried to call to see what this was all about...nobody returned my call, I couldn't get back to P.C. fast enough to stop this disaster from happening. THEY AUCTIONED MY CAR! It was given to me by my Father who passed away. I contacted the police & there was never anything done to find my car or bring charges against this shop. THIS LOCATION HAS A LICENSE TO STEAL! This car was never abandoned...with registration, insurance & the key??? I bring it up now because I came across a picture of my car! If you in fact crushed it...makes this even worse.

My daughter was in a accident on Feb. 16 2019. The car was towed to 19th street auto. My daughter went the next day to remove her things she needed an her phone charger was missing. We went back to the shop on Feb 21st to pay for towing and storage. The lady said the tow driver charged for something extra asked if the car was in a ditch or had tipped over because there tow driver charged extra and I told her no and I also have video of the car being put on the tow truck at that point they went to get the tow driver that towed my daughters car. He was very angry walking in to the office. He was speaking to me very rude. He said what was my problem the insurance pays for that. I raised my eyebrows in disbelief of how this man was speaking to me and he said what the hell is your problem we dont work for free. My daughters were standing in front of me with tears in there eyes how he was speaking to me. I was afraid to say anything to him. This is not how to run a business. I would like to have proof of these people writing the reviews as being actual paying customers. Rude people committing insurance fraud. I was not going to write this review but I have been feeling sick to my stomach every since that day.

This shop is a joke. I took my Kia Sorento in on a Friday because it was surging on me, the guy said that it was the crank shaft sensor and the cam sensor that would need to be replaced to fix the problem. I told them if it would fix the problem to go ahead and fix it. They told me $900 because it was labor intense. They don’t work on Saturday and Sunday and on Monday it was ready, they said they test drove it and it was good to go. I drove it home and the next morning not a mile down the road it was doing the same thing. I called him and told him and he said bring it back in. Then a week later I was told they don’t make the ecm part I needed that was the real problem because it was a 2007. So long story short I picked my truck up today and all the dash lights were on that has never came on in the truck. These people should be shut down. They should be held accountable for things like this. Now I’m out a vehicle and $900 they are rude arrogant and unprofessional.

Always a great experience here. I bring my vehicle and highly recommend 19th St Auto to friends and family, and those who have been are very happy with the service and care. We have a vacation rental and recently had to send a guest to Dan for a service light check. He gave her vehicle a thorough inspection, let her know the issue could be dealt with when she got home to her mechanic and did not charge her a thing. Needless to say, she was a very happy guest. Dan is definitely one of the good guys.

I will say completely trust worthy place to go to. Great price on labor. I took my Infiniti Qx80 for a tune up while on vacation for Thunder Beach bike week and they service My vehicle right away and was very kind when I ask certain questions....Definitely a place I'd take my vehicles

The people who work here are very nice and genuine folks. Took great care of my car and were able to finish it in only 10 days!! Everywhere else said it would be about 30 if more. They took me last minute as well with no fuss. Very thankful for them and highly recommend them!!

I brought my car there yesterday as my front bumper had been damaged on the highway. An employee (the owner?) took a look at it, then got on the ground and started to push, prod, and pop everything back into place, piece by piece for free. Outside of the paint discoloration, everything was as good as new! Will definitely be going to back next time I need any body work done.

Shame on this company. They helped an old lady get robbed. Shame, shame and for shame. This company will steal from anyone’s grandmother as long as somebody is there to lie. When dealing with private properties, I feel like it’s reckless to just assume anyone is the homeowner because they say they are. This picture is part of my grandmother‘s property and my grandmother‘s truck. My grandmother has owned this property for over 30 years. The truck is a 97 Ranger the truck needs a lot of fixing up, which I’ve been pricing parts to do, it’s got a lot of sentimental value because it’s been in our family as a teacher, however, this came to my grandmother Alarmed she had been robbed. All of a sudden, the truck that was as much a part of her yard as her mailbox, went MISSING. She was beside herself, who would rob her? And why would they steal only the truck that meant so much? She filed a police report this morning and come to find out, the truck was not just stolen, but it had been paid to be towed. How does this come to happen? Someone who recently recently purchased property next-door to my grandmother’s property didn’t like the rustic “eyesore” in his opinion. However, this is out in Southport and it is again my grandmother‘s property. If you don’t like what’s on your neighbors property most people just build a fence instead this gentleman called this particular company and lied saying this truck was on his property. Without a question to knock on the door of the woman whose property the truck was sitting on, they believed the man. Whatever driver took this truck from my grandmother‘s house, shame on you. I hope that someone steals from your grandmother just like this. No one deserves it to happen to them. And the sheriff said that because of this being towed by the neighbor, and the tow company didn’t question the private property ownership, and took the man at face value, Now, my grandmother has to pay out of her own pocket to get her truck back as well as the upkeep as well as the tow. This is unbelievable. This is un Christian. This is unhuman. This is quite foul. Charges will be pressed to the man to repay everything that my grandmother will have to pay, but this is unbelievable. Who would do this? This company. This company will steal from anyone’s grandmother as long as somebody is there to lie.

I'd leave zero stars if I could. Imagine YOUR grandmothers truck on YOUR GRANDMOTHER'S PRIVATE PROPERTY gets towed(NOT IN AN HOA) because a neighbor called and the negligent tow truck driver didn't verify information. Now your poor grandmothers left with the tow bill(that wouldn't have happened if not for again, negligence). This company doesn't care as long as they get paid. Absolute garbage business ethics there, bud. Judging by other reviews, who knows if there's any additional damage to the drivetrain now as well from being dragged. I'll be making sure nobody in my circles call you guys

The transmission went out in my Nissan Rogue, I had it towed to 19th st Auto Center for an estimate. I met with Dan who I believe was the owner. I was quoted a price to rebuild the transmission. I told him I wanted to get a couple more estimates before deciding, well 2 days later his was the best price. I am happy to say the job was completed when I was told it would be, and no sneaky oh we found this why we were working on it charges. I paid what I was told the estimate was very happy in the turn around. Very good folks to work with , if you need work consider this shop.

I'd leave a 0 star review if able. Little over 3 weeks ago my 63 year old father ran off the road in Youngstown Florida. He was in a 2009 ford f250 with a 8 inch lift ran off a huge ditch slaming into a palm tree and dirt wall behind it. When he come to he put the truck in park opened the door and got out climbed up the ditch to the road. I called friends and family who got there till I could. His truck was on all 4 wheels front-end first. Before I could get there this guy arrived with his tow truck. He was asked by FHP if he would like for them to close the lanes on 231 to pull it out. To which they told he said no he had it. He hooked to the truck side ways on the side of the road and some how manged to flip the truck on its passenger side further causing more damage. By the time I got there the truck had been drug over 10 feet over brush and dropped in a even deeper spot. It was then pulled up into even more trees. I arrived hearing crunching walked over and asked could I go grab a chainsaw down the road and cut them out the way to cause no futher damage the truck. His response was " Na want really matter it's probably already totalled anyhow. When it wasn't his job to determine that. After several hours of messing the truck up further he busted his tow line and was sent on his way by FHP not being paid. The truck could have been hooked to straight from the tow hitch put in netrual and pulled straight up into the road. It was determined by state farm that from the front end damage cause from the wreck the truck would have not been totaled. But after all the damage caused by the tow truck it has now been totaled. State farm and my self has called for weeks with no answer from this company as I live almost 2 hours away from it. They said he should be responsible for his damages. The bed of the truck was destroyed doors nerf bar busted passenger rear window rear bumper bent into the bed which was fine when I first arrived. Now my father is out of alot of money and not able to purchase the truck back as it was rolled on its side. Been told by the tow company that actually got the truck out and the body shop this place is bad news. Don't let them tow or touch your vehicle. Pictures attached are what was determined to be damage from the tow driver by FHP and state Farm. Truck on its side was how I seen it when I arrived. From other reviews I've seen on here we haven't been the only people done wrong. Took my father's dream and retirement truck from him that want be replaced from the small payout he's now gonna receive instead of his truck fixed because of negligence and very unprofessional work.
