Dropped my car off 4 weeks ago. Was told it" was dead in the water" had to be towed. They didn't have time to fix it. Yet the tow truck driver could drive it onto the truck. Took it elsewhere to be fixed. Won't be going here again.

I spoke to Mike on the phone this morning about my daughter‘s car. She was having a terrible sound coming from the back somewhere and I am eight hours away from her. She was trying to get back to school in Gainesville. Mike said bring it on up there and they would check it out so they could try to get her to school. She dropped it off and they brought it in the shop right away. Mike called me a few minutes later and told me exactly what was wrong and they had already made the repair. They could have easily taken advantage of the situation because all I could do was go on what they were telling me over the phone and I would have had no way to put my eyes on the problem. They didn’t have to put any new parts on the car to make the repair. They had to put a bolt back into one of the shocks that had come out and they also tightened the spare tire down. That’s where all of the noise was coming from that she was hearing. Mike wouldn’t let me pay for it and told me that if that was his daughter, he would hope someone would take care of her in the same way. They have my business for life when I need a repair in the Panama City area. It’s very refreshing to know there are still people out there that care about other people and not just the bottom line. Thanks Mike!

Mike and the entire crew at this establishment are absolutely phenomenal humans. The techs are extremely knowledgeable and versed at their mastered skills. I brought my car in at the suggestion of my neighbor. A previous mechanic tore up some parts on my suv so I was a bit Leary going to someone I had no prior experience with. The guys got it fixed after explaining and showing me everything that had been missed or damaged. Their pricing is also extremely reasonable. I can’t say enough good things about this shop and its employees. They forever have my business!

Long review but it’ll tell you exactly what kind of business ECAR is! The quick summary is these guy should be your absolute first pick!!! I had called in on a Thursday and Mike answered the phone. I asked what the soonest I could get my vehicle in was and he said not until the next week. What Mike didn’t know was that I was leaving the following Monday to move to a different state to join my pregnant wife who has been on her own for over a month. I asked Mike if I could at least explain my issue and he said yes. After explaining it he kindly said I could drop it off that same day and they would work on it if they found the extra time over the weekend! I quickly accepted the offer and dropped off my vehicle. Not even two hours later Mike calls me back and the crew had not only discovered the actual source of my problem (tail lights wouldn’t turn on at night) but they fixed it too! I had asked a handful of sources and other shops to assist and received a lot of no’s. Emerald Coast Auto Repair was the ONLY one to accept my vehicle. Mike and the mechanics are beyond amazing and deserve every once of praise! Great people, great work ethic, great business!

I’ve been a loyal customer at this shop for years and always dealt with Mike. He has always been wonderful, truly the salt of the earth. Recently, my wife called and spoke with the new manager Sean who was extremely rude to her. In the past, I could always call and easily get in. That kind of customer service mattered and it’s why I kept coming back. Unfortunately, after this experience, I’ll be taking my business elsewhere. Sean the “new” manager has already lost mine and if this is the new standard he’s going to lose more.

So thankful tonight for these guys! My car was out of commission and had two people diagnose a bad fuel pump ... I towed it to him and he found the problem WITHIN AN HOUR and had it ready for me to pick up. It was only a hose....
