I have a 2000 Ford Excursion 7.3 diesel. It’s hard to find a good mechanic. Recently 395 was suggested to me. I paid little attention to the suggestion because I knew I was moving across the country in 3 days. Moving day comes. My wife and 5 kids and trailer hit the road in the afternoon. We make it to Temecula and of course traffic was terrible. I began to smell burning rubber. I then realized it was me and left brake had siezed. I pulled off at the exit with a smoking tire. I had no idea what to do. I remembered about 395. I called the shop and the owner Rene answered. I explained what happened. He told me that if I can I need to get my truck over to him. After a bit I drove slowly with hazards flashing over to his shop (395 Auto and Performance). Knowing I was traveling with my entire family Rene got his guys straight to work. They quickly diagnosed the problem and stayed after closing hours to finish it up and get us on the road the same night. I am so grateful for this entire experience. It felt like I was visiting a small town mechanic willing to do anything to get his fellow neighbors back on the road. He was generous with his spaces and even let my son watch the entire process. Knowing our desperation he could have charged us through the roof and he didn’t. He charged a fair price and was transparent about everything. He had us on the road the same night and because of him we are now 3000 miles away safely at our new home. I would love to find a mechanic like that around here but I think Rene is one in a million. I couldn’t recommend 395 enough. If you need a mechanic for gas, diesel, performance cars, engines, breaks, whatever you need you will not be disappointed in Rene and his team.

This shop did me solid!!! I had taken my prius here after another shop had tried to fix my overheating issue with 2 other repairs and wanted to do a 3rd repair for my radiator. I decided to get a second opinion and I'm glad I did. They gave me a thorough report of my car, pictures included and what repairs were urgent to things I could keep an eye on. They called me to go over options and what I really appreciated is that they were not offering to do repairs that wouldn't solve my problem. That's the kind of honesty that's hard to find. I was given information that can help me make the right decision, not just a bill to try to fix a problem that's not going to be truly taken care of. I'll be taking my cars here from now on. They earned my business!
