I used 714 for a pre purchase inspection on a car through dealers and was pleased with the report and level of detail. Needing service on a different car this week I called up 714 and Mike got me in quickly. Shop is easy to find and there is a nice waiting area with WiFi. Mike explained everything thoroughly and answered all questions as well as came up with a plan on some maintenance items I want do.

Ive gone to 714 Technik for a few things now. One of the best mechanics and guys around! Had my PDK service done and was in n out in a few hours! Pricing was excellent and the overall experience was stellar! Update: Since Mike is one of the coolest Mechanics and guys in town. I went back to try and concur changing the trans mount in my 991. IYKYK.. anyway, we were successfully able to change it! Saved me thousands!

Mike Salinas at 714 Technik was recommended to me as an up and coming highly competent Indy tech for my new 911 turbo. It didn’t take long to realize why - he knows what he’s doing and is clearly experienced doing it. Prices were reasonable, and he was very transparent about recommendations regarding an issue he noticed while performing other work I had requested. He sent me multiple photos and videos of what he was talking about and explained it to me. Even saved me money for other work I had planned on doing that he said he didn’t think was necessary. "I recently had a pre-purchase inspection done by Mike at 714 Technik on a 2020 Audi S8 D5 and I cannot recommend him enough. As someone who takes their vehicles seriously, I needed a thorough and honest inspection — and that's exactly what I got. Mike went through every single system on the car — full VAG-COM scan, air suspension, undercarriage, engine bay, turbo lines, brakes, interior, paint and more. Instead of just handing me a piece of paper, he walked me through everything via videos and a detailed phone call explaining exactly what he found and what to monitor going forward. His background as a former Audi dealership mechanic shows immediately — he knows these cars inside and out. He was honest, thorough, direct and clearly passionate about what he does. He even recommended applying a powder tracing substance on a minor oil seep just to monitor it — that's the level of detail you don't get everywhere. If you have a European vehicle and need someone you can actually trust — Mike at 714 Technik is your guy. Worth every penny and then some."

I have never been so completely frustrated with a shop. I have felt bullied -dropped off car on 10/26th for appointment, I’m having it towed because he gave up. -never reaches out with updates. Gives lots of excuses, offers a small discount after I have spent 2100$ on ubers alone because of his disinterest in fixing my car. Plus 2 months of my time. -he agreed I could not have been kinder, more patient and reasonable. I cooked him breakfast to show him respect and sympathy because he mentioned he felt stressed. - I had to find the Axel myself and had it delivered to the shop, he couldn’t find it he said and it took me 10 minutes. -first it was the axel, then the diff, then the whole transmission. At no point did he convey this when codes should have clearly showed the main issues from the onset. -when I dropped the car off I mentioned it could be the diff, he didn’t bother to check until 7 weeks in. -I gave him my trust and faith and he broke that, I could not possibly be more disappointed.
