If you’re looking for a trustworthy, affordable, quick service you found it- I called around to different shops all in the area quoting me at ridiculous prices and I would’ve been out of a vehicle for days during the repair.. I FOUND A&L automotive and was hesitant due to the number of reviews.. I’m glad I gave them a chance because other than taking it to the actual dealer I will not being calling anyone else to get my car back running. Ted THANKS A MILLION!! You have a customer who will never forget you and will never stop referring you! Thank you for getting my Alternator replaced and serpentine belt installed in hours at a fraction of the cost. I have had quite a few of my company and personal vehicles worked on by Ted and James, and I will continue to do so. They are by far the most honest mechanics I have ever met. Their goal is customer service, not profits. I have seen them bend over backwards giving other customers really good deals and donating their personal time to help people in need as a habit. If you want mechanics that stand behind their work and will give you an upfront honest diagnosis and repair of your vehicle, these are the guys. What other mechanics can you say that about? Give them a call.

Ted was awesome to work with. My car died and I suspected it was the alternator. I replaced the battery, but still thought I had a problem. I called on a Friday afternoon and he said he'd be available to work on my car Saturday morning. On Saturday morning I tried starting my car and it wouldn't start. We live fairly close to his shop and he drove over to help me diagnose the problem and see if he could help get it started. Although he could not get it started he got my car towed to his shop at a rate lower than I'd ever heard of. The new battery was now destroyed, too, but he said he'd take it to Autozone for me and get it replaced under the warranty. This level of service was far beyond anything I expected. It turned out it was the alternator that had gone bad (15 year old vehicle). He fixed the alternator and had it ready to be picked up by 5pm that same day. The communication and service was amazing, and the all-in cost was extremely reasonable. I will be recommending A&L to anyone who asks. Thanks again Ted!

The crew at A&L can tackle just about any automotive problem and are familiar with both gas powered and diesel vehicles. My wife and I are so glad we found them after getting ripped off by local dealerships who use bloated hourly estimate books to price out simple repairs. The GMC dealer tried to charge me $180 to replace a Reverse light bulb that I myself could change in 60 seconds. It's great to still find honest, friendly and independent mechanics who value customer service over the almighty dollar.

Best Automotive Repair shop around the area. No BS. I desperately needed my heat fix to avoid a 2nd winter without heat in my car. No one gave me a realistic price but A&L. I was quoted $ 1400-2500 dollars. I got more work done for less than the bottom dollar of one quoted price at A&L. This will be my forever repair shop. I will refer all my family and Friends. I don’t usually leave reviews, but these guys went above and beyond the call of duty! First off I was traveling through town with an older RV, which is an absolute nightmare to find someone who knows how to work on it. Not only did these guys know what I was talking about when I said custom workhorse, chassis and Vortech 8.1 L engine they were able to do a quick diagnosis right away and help me get apart. I need it overnighted! This was in the middle of crazy ice storm and a very difficult repair of a cracked radiator. I knew I was in the right place when I saw how efficiently and precise their work was. When they got the radiator put back together aging radiator cap was leaking and they helped me source a local part and got me on my way at a very reasonable price! If you’ve got a light or medium duty truck or any kind of weird engine drivetrain combo I’d highly suggest you have these guys check it out. Very reasonable price no crazy up selling and excellent customer service. They even let me bring it back in the next day for a free post inspection to make sure everything was looking good before I drove down the coast. I can’t thank them enough! Excellent job!
