A failed emission inspection led to a nightmare! Three months of “drive-cycling” hundreds of miles to reset the system controls (per recommendation of the state inspectors as well as the manufacturer & the internet) which usually works, unfortunately didn’t this time. In desperation, I took the car back to my “old faithful” friends at AAA, who’d done a great job for me over many years. Service Advisor Brian expertly scoped the car to pinpoint a critical problem with key components of the emission system. After consulting with genuinely concerned General Manager Jim, they had ace Technician Chris install new ones. Thankfully this immediately did the trick, so I now have that precious sticker. The “All Star Team” did it once more. But as friendly, competent & reasonably priced as they are, I hope to see Santa before I require their top-notch services again!! Update on 8/30/24: Once again these people saved me considerable time & money on a simple but vital task that others couldn’t handle. Kudos to Service Advisor “Devon” as well as Technician “Justin”! Who also worked with Service Advisor “David” to come up with a last minute fix for another emergency the next day to make an important trip possible. Why I sleep better knowing I have these capable, honest people available when I need them!! Update on 3/7/25: “Coach” Jim & his excellent Team (“Quarterbacked” by Devon & assisted by friendly, competent “Players” Joe & Chris) expertly, quickly & at a very fair cost, fixed a complicated but important problem. Another winning “Touchdown”!!! On 6/10/25, they speedily with short notice — and at what I consider a bargain price — did a repair job enabling me to make my doctor’s followup appointment after recent surgery. Kudos to Manager Jim, Service Advisors Chris and Joe, and Technician Justin!

I have gone through 3 cars in the past 5 years and trusted AAA Chandler on AZ blvd. for the care of each vehicle and have not been disappointed. They are trustworthy and get the maintenance or repairs done for less.The staff are great too! The shuttle service has helped me when repairs required more time. My camry high engine coolant temperate warning came on and I could not drive the car much. Got a AAA tow to AAA service center in Chandler (since the tow to a AAA service center is free but with a bad catch). Service rep was courteous. however I have been overcharged many times for the Parts. E.g. the water pump price at Toyota online parts store for P/N16100-01690 shows $172.81. I am charged $454.33. For the thermostat the online parts store is between $30 and $50(could not figure out the exact part needed for my car). I am charged $106 for the thermostat. This kind of overcharge is price gouging. When I talked to the service rep, he mentioned the high mark up included a AAA warranty of 2 years for AAA members. Even then this is price gouging. I have not checked the time and labor costs. But very likely I may have been overcharged in this area too. With good luck I will never succumb to the taking my car to this or other AAA service centers.

Triple A Chandler East Auto is the best place you can take your car to be repaired. I'm a single female and instantly I felt like I could trust the staff. They are fair and honest and reliable. I even a got a better deal on a repair that I was quoted higher at another garage. They do everything in their power to get your vehicle fixed and back on the road. Our car has a slight engine knock, we have AAA membership and requested a tow to a mechanic that was recommended by a member of our church; the AAA tow guy really sold us on taking the car to their mechanic instead, claiming that the diagnosis would be $120 and the labor would be $80/hr with our membership discount. We get to AAA, and they quote us $180 for a diagnosis and $190/hr for labor?! That’s insane!!! The diagnosis doesn’t even go towards labor fees & the mechanic who gave it a quick look over / quoted us the fees didn’t even check the oil properly… the tow guy did tow the vehicle to the original mechanic for us without closing the original ticket, and profusely apologised for the misinformation, so I appreciate him but definitely wouldn’t recommend using this mechanic shop.

They worked really hard to figure out my car repair for 13 days. Rear shocks, radiator hose, oil change. I only had to bring it back on the 12th day for one more overnight. It's been running properly for a week now. Yay!

Went to them for an oil change. Also told them that my AC wasn’t getting cold fast. They said they’d look into it. When I went to pick up the car, they told me that the coolant tank was completely empty and so they believed that there was a leak there. However, they couldn’t definitely tell where the leak was because the undercarriage of the car Was too dirty. But they put a dye in the coolant tank to identify where the leak was. They asked me to get the undercarriage cleaned and then come back. They sent me to a guy to get the undercarriage cleaned who charged me twice the amount than is normal. Then when I took the car back so they could identify the leak. They told me there was a transmission issue And recommended another guy. I went to Greulich’s To get a second opinion. The guy there told me there was no problem with the transmission because transmission fluid Has a specific color. The leak was not of that color. Also, it was a minor leak. So I should just keep an eye If that leak becomes larger(Puddles under my car).

I have had several vehicle into the shop for various maintenance and repairs. Chris and Joe have always been upfront about the likely causes and fairly close on the estimated costs. I haven't always liked the cost of vehicle repairs, but that is just part of owning a vehicle. I feel that AAA Chandler runs a fair and honest operation. They warranty their work and the warranty is good at any AAA repair center.

I just stopped by there recently because I had some plastic pieces that were hanging down on the bottom of my car. I only had less than an hour and I was pretty sure they were going to tell me they didn't have time to help me. Instead, Chris took my car in immediately and secure the parts that weren't damaged and showed me the ones that would need replacing or more serious work. He didn't even charge me for the work that he did, just told me to come back when I needed another repair. And I definitely would. Chris was fast, friendly and professional and I would highly recommend them.

I’ve been using AAA Auto with my corvette and other vehicles for over 5 years now. With my corvette I needed somewhere to take it other than the dealer that was fair, honest , high quality , trustworthy, safe, and friendly , sincerely having the customer experience in mind. The latest repair has been brakes with Jonathan. He did a phenomenal repair and is installing caliper covers for me. Their prices aren’t cheap , nor overcharging, you get what you pay for. And quality is important! Blair is a great mechanic and has repairs my cars several times. Thank you for a job well done again.

Great experience - booked online and when I walked in at my apt time as soon as I was in the lobby they said “Mr. Hildreth?” They took an hour to do my oil change and a full inspection - they gave me the break down on what was wrong without intense pressure or any fear tactics. Felt like I was talking to mechanics not sales guys. Gave me quotes and said what to watch out for and went on my way. Will be coming here for repairs from now on. I will definitely be back and from my first visit feel like I trust these guys. They were very nice and helpful. Thanks for the help and advice!
