They did a good job fixing my car. No issues so far, it’s been about a month. The reason I deducted a star is poor communication. Every time I called, they said: “oh, I was just about to call you.” Right. The will get you a Lyft to and from and give a discount for AAA Membership. Also very friendly.

The initial issue was a broken alternator. Tow to the center was fine. The alternator was fixed, and the truck was returned. The new alternator did not work and was replaced under warranty without issue. The issue arose when receiving my truck back. They tried to explain to me the issue was the battery. They told me the batter that I had installed was the wrong size. I had the same battery before for the 3 previous years and had no issues. I checked with O'Reilly's Auto part where I purchased the battery and checked with the manufacturer, and they assured me the battery size was appropriate. The mechanic insisted I had the wrong size battery and that all my lights and problems would return if I did not replace it. They also listed a bunch of new issues that were not mentioned in the inital inspection when the alternator was replaced the first time. They also tried to charge me a $109 diagnostic fee if I did not replace the battery. I told them to put the old battery back in charge it and I would pick it up. I did not get charged the diagnostic fee, and my truck has been working just fine. This mechanic did decent work, but tried to push me into services that were clearly not needed.

The air-conditioning in my 2004 Escalade was repaired completely. Being an older car, there are many aspects to any repair and this one wasn't easy. They worked on my car until they ferreted out the problem. Now, my Escalade has great, cold air flowing through it while it is 115 degrees outside in the Arizona Sun. They took me home when I left my car and picked me up when it was ready. Now that is Service with a capital "S." The price was fair for all the work they had to do. Anton and all the AAA employees were kind, thoughtful and courteous. Another plus that often doesn't exist in today's world of "Service."

Wish I could give them a zero unnecessary work will not return any of our calls . Totally misdiagnosed the car charge unnecessary work left many messages without returning our calls very unprofessional. I will take this further to a Better Business Bureau or the head office of AAA. They hive AAA a bad name and reputation

Driving testing for somebody one of their drivers pulled out with a van like a crazy person without stopping and almost killed me. I called and made a report with this location and I have a copy of the license number and the time of the person driving the vehicle. Hopefully they'll do something about it and call me back about this so I can take this review down. Super dangerous

I have a 2000 Toyota Land Cruiser that I bought brand new 25 years ago. I am proud to say that it is still running great today because I have taken great care of it. For the past 12 years I’ve been taking it to AAA in N. Scottsdale for all my repairs. Anton has been my Service Advisor for most of the years and I am completely satisfied with the quality of service and the prices. Just finding parts for a 25 year old vehicle is sometimes difficult but Anton always delivers. He has been very responsive, very professional, and courteous throughout the years and I would be crazy to try any other service provider when I have a great track record with AAA and Anton so I will keep it that way.

The only suggestion I have for a five-star experience would be to slightly adjust the process to include a quick wipe-down or hose-down of the car's exterior at the end of the service. The customer service was outstanding—Anton is a true professional who goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and ensure your best interests are taken care of.

It depends on who you get as a service advisor. Each time I've gone, I have had Antone (older gentleman with blue eyes) and he was not the kindest. My fiance and I had to go to work that day and couldn't just hang out, due to a family issue we didn't answer when they called and Antone acted as if the whole world revolved around him and got upset that we didn't answer. The building opens at 7:30 but the service technicians don't come into work until 8. No matter how much you need your car, they won't give it to you unless you pay and unless the service techs are there. They charged us far over what the service was supposed to me, what we researched it to be, it said that typically the issue would cost $800, they charged us $1800, a little over. As for the good of the office, Taylor is great! She is kind and talks to you like she's known you forever! I would say, try it out and see how it goes for you? Ask for Taylor if possible. If they charge you a big amount, GO ELSEWHERE. I had high hopes but unfortunately, over all, they lost my business.

I’ve been bringing my 2014 Hyundai Elantra to AAA Scottsdale for the past 3 years, and I truly couldn’t recommend them more. Sean, Anton, Michael, and Taylor are all fantastic—knowledgeable, honest, and always a pleasure to work with. They’ve consistently been upfront about what my car needs without ever pressuring me to do unnecessary work or spend more than I have to. They’re also easy to reach and always quick to get my car back to me. After almost 10 years with this car, I’m so grateful to have a place like AAA Scottsdale that I trust! Highly recommend.

I brought my truck into AAA Auto Repair this past Thursday around 1 PM after it broke down in Scottsdale Arizona and was towed there by a AAA tow truck. I stood in the lobby for nearly 15 minutes without being acknowledged by anyone. Finally, a woman came over and asked what the issue was. I explained the situation, and she took my information she was very polite and professional the one of best employees this shop has to my own experience. The repair was assigned to someone named Joseph, who called me on Friday morning to tell me the total repair cost would be about $1,800. I agreed and paid a $900 deposit over the phone. I made it very clear that I was on vacation with my wife and kids, 400 miles away from home, and that getting my vehicle back quickly was extremely important. Joseph assured me the work would likely be completed by Saturday due to ordering needed parts ( fuel pump). Based on that promise, I extended our hotel stay in Scottsdale for another day—incurring additional costs—just to wait for the repair. On Saturday morning, I called and spoke with Michael, who was professional and honest. He told me they couldn’t guarantee it would be ready and that the shop was closed Sunday, meaning the truck wouldn’t be ready until Monday. Left with no choice, I rented a car and drove back home with my family. On Monday, I received a call from Michael saying the truck was finally ready. I bought a plane ticket and flew back to Scottsdale to pick it up that same afternoon. During pickup, I was surprised to find the final cost was $2530.71– $647.77 more than what I was originally quoted. After reviewing the invoice and calling the shop again, Michael acknowledged it was a billing error and refunded the overcharge—but the entire experience was exhausting and careless. This whole situation was completely unacceptable. Joseph should never have made promises he couldn’t keep, especially knowing my situation. The lack of communication, accountability, and professionalism from this shop caused me major inconvenience, unnecessary expenses, and wasted time. I’ve been a loyal AAA member for 13 years and have never dealt with anything like this. Unfortunately, this experience has left me seriously reconsidering my membership and exploring other options for insurance and towing services. Absolutely disappointing and unacceptable from a company I once trusted.

I had a fantastic experience with Michael Wagner at AAA Auto Repair Center! His customer service was outstanding, he was incredibly helpful, transparent, and took the time to thoroughly explain everything that was done on my car. I recently visited the Scottsdale AAA Auto Repair and, per their recommendation, spent roughly $3,000 to replace the front struts on my Acura MDX. Since the repair, I have returned multiple times because the vehicle is still having issues, specifically a persistent noise in the front end. Unfortunately, they seem unable to fix the problem. Instead of offering solutions, they just make excuses, claiming that "new problems just happen" when a car is on the road. I strongly feel that AAA is fine for basic maintenance like oil changes, but if you have a major repair or need to spend significant money, this is not the place to go. They are not equipped to handle even little complex mechanical issues properly.

I called and scheduled an appt for repair on 1/31/2026. When I called yesterday to ask if the appt could be moved up sooner since another issue needing repair had arose, "John" tells me I was never scheduled on 1/31/2026. This guy just gives me bad vibes. Since I called close to close of business yesterday, I called this morning to ask a follow up question and spoke with "John" again. He was short and curt and was in a hurry to get me off the phone. If I go in to drop my vehicle off and he happens to be who I interact with, I will let him know he gives me bad vibes. I'm trusting my vehicle in the care of AAA, which has been great for towing and such. But this is a new experience for me. Standby for an update.

Had a great experience with this location. Michael was genuine and the customer care was top notch. I took my car initially to get the oil change ,but I was informed about the rear differential leak . Also, stopped me from spending money on a coolant flush , which is not required for another year or so. When I arrived at the shop he requested the technician to lift the car and let me inspect on what exactly was going on. The service was reasonably priced as well. Thank you for the great service!

I’m new to the area and was looking for a honest repair shop to get my oil changed. My neighbor, who has been here for a few years, wasn’t able to recommend any one because he hadn’t found a reputable repair shop. I thought I would try AAA. Very professional! I Wasn’t pressured to do any of the additional recommend maintenance that was discovered during the inspection. I will definitely have the recommended repairs done at this facility. The service writer, Anton was great. I recommend AAA to my neighbor.
